This place is one of a kind. Jorge and his son David (both the owners) run this place and I truly mean it when I say that we felt right at home.

Amalaya is a great place!
Andres and his family have created a small oasis of relaxation here by the river close to the small town of Villavicencio.

A beautiful, idyllic place. There is a river next to the house where you can swim and relax, it seems like you are in the middle of the jungle. We saw a variety of birds, monkeys and capybaras.

First of all, the breakfast was amazing!
The fruit, waffels, italian bread and even burrata! Great juices and loved the warm chocolate as well.

This is a beautiful lodge with stunning views located in the lush cloud rainforest above the town of Villavicencio.
The lobby/bar/restaurant area was elegant and served good quality Italian cuisine.

Great, clean, cosy hostal with friendly owners, who will help you whenever you need them. The atmosphere is really relaxed. The neighborhood is safe and beautiful.

The location is a few km from the bus station. The host Alfred was really nice, he could also help with tours. They just moved into this building 2 month ago, but here is already everything, incl.

Great hostel! Alfredo and Olga were super helpful in helping me plan excursions for my trip to San Jose del Guaviare. The price and location are also great! Thank you!
