This is an amazing spot to stay once in Mayapo. Given the geographical limitation of energy and infrastructure, it manages to deliver comfort and hospitality at its best.
Also the place works as a dog shelter with got my appreciation.

Talata hostel is not your typical place to crash and sleep — it’s an experience! Simple and ascetic conditions are rewarded with endless love and cuddles from the rescued dogs and cats; the kindness of lovely owner Jazmin and the ocean front views, where the day just slips by laying in the hammock and watching the fishermen bringing in the catch of the day.

Really beautiful location. You have the desert on one side and the beach on the other. We had the beach to ourselves.
Jazmin was welcoming, all the animals welcome you too! This beach is tranquil and relaxing. I really enjoyed this area more than the nights I stayed in Cabo de la Vela.
