My family and I spent 4 nights at Hacienda Tocarema in December for a birthday celebration, and this property exceeded every expectation. As international travelers seeking an authentic countryside retreat away from tourist crowds, we found exactly what we were looking for just 20 miles from Bogotá.

The tranquility, surrounded by nature in the Cundinamarca countryside, made it a true escape. We used every amenity – the Jacuzzi, hiking trails, and more. Rooms were impeccably clean with comfortable beds and heaters for cool December evenings.

This place is the perfect retreat! All we hear are sounds of nature and we woke up to birds and a small river running. Peace and tranquility all around, sprinkled with laughs, conversatins and play. There is space for everyone to hang out together or have a quiet moment by themselves somewhere around the outdoor space. Juan is the perfect host, his love and pride for the property shows in every detail of the house and in every conversation. The house is perfect for families or friends to come together in harmony.
