A corner of paradise in Capurganá
I recently spent an unforgettable week at La Casa Alma, a small hostel located a stone's throw from Aguacate Beach. This place is a true haven of peace where the sound of the waves and the sounds of the rainforest accompany us throughout our stay. Relaxation is guaranteed in this idyllic setting.
The hostel lent us masks and snorkels, and we were able to explore the incredibly rich seabed, in turquoise and crystal clear water. The welcome is warm and authentic. Diego and his team are wonderful people: friendly, open-minded and very kind.
Our stay at La Casa Alma will remain etched in our memories. For lovers of tranquility, this place is ideal, even if it is a little far from the shops. You can get there in 5 minutes by boat, or on foot in 45 minutes. If you are looking for a little corner of paradise to recharge your batteries, I highly recommend this place.
If you're looking for truly off the radar relaxing in a beautiful environment between the beach and the jungle, with great food at affordable prices, this is your spot. Most welcoming, perfectly bilingual host. Capurgana, Sapzurro, Panama and a couple remote beaches easily reachable by scenic hike with coconuts, different types of mangos, avocados and carambolas for the picking along the way. Spent the last days of 5 weeks backpacking along the Colombian Caribbean here and this was the perfect combination of seclusion and comfort.

A fantastic location really peaceful and completely off the grid, a lovely host very open and kind, great water to swim and snorkel in, a lack of fish and healthy coral, but still nice, head north for more. One thing is bring a filter the water is a little pricy.
