The communication for transportation to the hotel was not good at all, although we had paid for this transportation, we were never told that we should expect more people going to the accommodation, therefore the price ended up being more than expected, given that Payment was made per ticket per person, but they were never warned that they had to wait longer and for the same value.
Doña Mirlan and her husband Luis saved those bad details with their excellent attention. The rooms, although very nice, have a high cost compared to other accommodations in Bahía Solano that offer Bungalows or complete cabins alone for the same price or even less.
Although the beach is private, on the last day there were other non-guests on the beach playing soccer (it's not a bother) but it was strange to see non-guests without knowing it.

When we left, my partner and I both agreed this place has officially ruined us on all future vacations because nothing will top our stay at Choibana (I'm being serious). Amazing location, perfectly comfortable rooms, and the absolute pleasure of getting to hang out with Luis and Mirlan. Every day was a treasure, from the epic sunrises on clear days to watching thunderstorms roll off the bay on the rainy ones. The grounds are stunning, it's basically a private beach! It's a rare treat to hear waves and the sounds of nature with the occasional fishing boat putzing by without a megaresort in sight. On a clear night the stars are incredible!
The biggest treat of all is the warm hospitality of Luis and Mirlan. The food is absolutely incredible. They fed my relentless coffee addiction with an undeserved conviction :) Mirlan helped us arrange activities with local guides that led to truly memorable experiences in a truly special place. They are the beating heart of the experience and I hope to see them again soon! We will be back!
