Amazing place, the hotel is an old monastery located in the historical centre of Popayan (one of the top cities in Colombia). External swinming pool. Sauna and hamam. Staff very nice and attentive but not english speaking.

This review is for the restaurant only. We did not stay at this hotel. A beautiful setting in a beautiful town. Upscale, very nice menu and, for U S visitors, very, very inexpensive for the quality of the experience. Service is very very good — as to be expected for such a high quality place. But don't go there if you're in a rush. There's certainly nothing rushing about it. I've eaten there twice in the last decade and both times was excruciatingly slow to get our food. But I went back and I probably will again someday because it's really worth the wait.

Its architecture very well maintained. Sincerely. There's plenty of stars to this hotel. Bad customer service. The hotel maximum occupancy and two or three people serving breakfast which leaves a lot to be desired. They must improve the menu. Remove or suspend hot water and bathe in cold water. Drunks at midnight with loud music throughout the hotel and if you are told something lash out against one as happened on the 9th of June 2018. An hour listening to the KING at 4:00 in the morning. Where is the management of this hotel. There we lost a pulse clock because the box was out of order. The rooms are very dark. They should lpñlevar soap if they attend this hotel. Bad and expensive food. Rating 1.0/5.0. What will the Bogotá management say?

Pretty place, poor service.

It is very cozy with its colonial structure and natural environment, to be in family, friends or events. Spacious and relaxing, and is in the centre of Popayan near banks, restaurants, commerce and public offices. Account with parking lot spacious… can improve power and TV signal and the internet.

I have not hosted. The opinion is about the restaurant. It is disproportionately expensive compared to the price of the city. The only platps that are exclusivps and worth trying are: carantantas, soup carantantas, sushi pipian. The other dishes are normal in general. Anything that you can get close to best price.

No, you do not scare hahaha. The hotel is very nice, it retains that colonial-style to perfection. The social areas are very well decorated and preserved, you will definitely feel in another era, the rooms are of the same style, however in mine, I noticed a smell of old, save that you didn't let me rest very well, in addition to the hotel is at the side of a church that has a bell tower huge that each time it sounds, with a melody and the campanazos/cannon shots every hour, until 2 in the morning what I heard then at 6 A. M (I sleep super light) so if any noise awakens you, this is not the ideal hotel for rest.

The place is wonderful, it has open spaces that can be used for a variety of events, the beds are food, the food is very good, generous portions, the common spaces are very spacious and beautiful, note that you are concerned about having happy and comfortable to the customers, and outsiders.

Very stylish and tranquil — as befits an former monastery.

Amazing building in a former Franciscan monastery. The recycling is impeccable, but not the attention. It pretends to be a 5 star hotel but has several deficiencies despite the friendliness of the staff. They cut the hot water at night. I had to bathe several times with icy water, amazing for a hotel that has pretensions. The rooms have very little lighting, so much so that it is hard to find something. The bathroom was never clean. The restaurant slow despite having pre-arranged the menu and the schedule. Breakfast very good although they should implement the self service for infusions. A shame as the building is amazing and the location excellent.

Good hotel with excellent facilities plus large room spaces with a fountain and lounge for recreation also has plenty of rooms it is also important to say that the food is very delicious and that there is for all tastes. With regard to the attention is pretty good but the prices are pretty jumps is one of the three most expensive hotels in Popayán.

Superb place, the monastery has a lot of cachet, the price is not excessive for this comfortable place, nice spacious rooms.

It is not a luxurious hotel because it is located in a former monastery, which preserved the architecture and apparently several of the original spaces of the building. For the same reason, the rooms may look old but they are comfortable.
No restaurant after 10pm.
It is very quiet and cozy, the staff is very attentive and diligent.
It is ideally located for walking through the white center of Popayán.

Old Franciscan Convent Today the Hotel Dann is a place that retains that tranquility and silence in a very careful atmosphere in every detail. It preserves the typical convent structure with a courtyard inside and spacious rooms on two floors. A fountain with imposing floral arrangements that are changed daily, a restaurant, a chapel and a lounge for events are part of its facilities. Breakfast is exceptional. The staff is very friendly and from the first moment you can enjoy the experience with a welcome drink in its beautiful gardens.

The attention to organization of events is terrible, the person in charge is rude and petulant. I did an event with them and was not satisfied, it is one of the highest costs of the city and the attention does not honor its prestige as hotel.

Located near Caldas Park, within the historic centre of Popayán. They have ample and quiet spaces. Ideal if you want to stay a few days and have a noticeable budget.

This hotel, where what you see is bad, very bad. The buttons is the same waiter. Service lousy, slow. It is cold, gloomy.
