The best location. Right in the center of the historic town. Close to all Plazas and Nightlife. Loved our balcony room!

I lived amazing days in Cartagena, to be my first trip to this beautiful Country of Colombia and I lived staying in this beautiful Boutique hotel which I was delighted.

I live in Miami and decided to get married in Cartagena. I did not have a wedding planner and did so much research to find the perfect place to host my wedding party in Cartagena and found this place, based on price and location Casa India Catalina seemed like the best location where all my guest can stay together. After very pleasant email communication with the manager we decided to rent all 27 rooms and hosted 50 friends and family members who where beyond comfortable in the 4 story building. We all felt at home with very friendly staff always around to take care of us 24/7. Casa India Catalina was so nice we decided to get married right there in the courtyard around the pool. They let us decorate as we needed but already so beautiful we didn’t need much. I was nervous about the amount of room around the pool, but there was sooooo much room for all 50 guest and band and bartender and had plenty of space to party. All the rooms were comfortable, complimentary breakfast every morning made the itinerary start off fantastic. The location right in the center made it so easy for everyone to step right out and experience Cartagena, step right out the door, get lost and easily find their way back to “home base”.

Great Location! Inside the walled city! Helpful staff! Only Wi-Fi signal that was bad in my room could be solved with a signal amplifier!

Very nice location in the middle of the old town. The staff is very nice however they forgot to put new towels in our room after cleaning. Overall experience very good but can’t be a 5 stars but it is definitely recommended. The ratio Quality/Price is very good!

There is A. C. The rooms have no windows to outside mostly. The fan in the bathroom is very noisy. There is nice breakfast. The mattress is nice. After they change towel, they gave very old ones! No elevator. Because of the little pool, it's very humid. It's difficult to breath.

Excellent hotel with an amazing staff. There is a desk person 24/7 that speaks English as well. Breakfast is great.

The hotel is beautiful this located within the historical center of the city which is very easy to get around without needing any transport you can reach places like Cafe del Mar walking, among other places of leisure, Hard Rock Cafe, Juan Valdez. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very comfortable and very clean, I will probably stay there again and I recommend it to my friends and family to do them too.

In the Walled city center. Ideal not to miss the life of the city 24 hours. The hotel has balconies on the street, other interns. Excellent impeccable service breakfast 10 points!

This hotel is small and perfectly located but let's set the record straight on some other aspects, starting with their free breakfast. To be honest, the other reviews mentioning their delicious breakfast is what ultimately made us select this hotel. In reality, the only great item at breakfast was their delicious cafe con leche (we're in Colombia after all, coffee is good everywhere). As for the other food items, although they're made in a small kitchen right in front of you, they all looked cheap, low quality. The eggs were consistently overcooked (almost burned and dry), the pastries didn't look or taste fresh. Well, since breakfast was included in the cost of the room, there is not much to complain about here: free is ALWAYS good. Now about the room and and amenities: the rooms were nice and comfy. They had great AC, TV, mini bar and showers with hot water. Our greatest issue was the Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi in the room barely worked. We were advised the one in the lobby area would work better but it didn't. Also important: rooms on the street side are VERY NOISY. This street is very vibrant so you hear people talking, music and car horns pretty much all through the night. Not recommended if you're trying to sleep tight… Other than that, the front staff was excellent. They were always smiling and willing to help. Overall, we still had a pleasant experience there. It is so well located that you're within walking distance of the entire walled city (old town).

Very good situation within the old town and can walk all the places of interest in Cartagena, except the Castle of San Felipe.

It has a tiny swimming pool that serves to cool off from the heat of Cartagena. Very good attention of the guys at reception.

Hotel has perfect location. Our room was large but being on the street side. So we asked to change due to the noise. The new one is a little but smaller but very quiet at night. The interior patio is pretty but nobody is there really except for early morning. Various sweet and salty options to choose from in the breakfast, all pretty decent. Price is very cheap for Cartagena which made it a worthy choice.

Definitely one of the best hotels you will find in the historic center of Cartagena. Its colonial-style architecture makes it very pleasant to stay. Breakfast was simple but delicious. The staff is always very friendly and they are willing to work with what you need. Highly recommended.

Beautiful colonial-style hotel with a small indoor pool. The rooms are large and cozy. The only downside is that it has no elevator and there are up to 4 floors.

Nice place, great location right in the center of the walled city. Close to everything. Very convenient breakfast is included. Great price/value balance. The staff is really friendly. The draw back is that there is no elevator for people only for luggage, and if you end up being placed at the 4th floor ensure that you are comfortable climbing stairs. I am assuming that this would be very uncomfortable for elders or people with disabilities or injured. I definitely recommend it if you are not looking g for a fancy place but rather for a comfortable room to rest.

It is an excellent place located in the middle of the walled city the rooms are beautiful just like the hotel in general and the guys at the reception TB, the breakfast is varied and the quality of the excellent products would return as many times as I could.

Fabulous! Excellent location and lack of lift made up for the good exercise of legs that is done when climbing each floor.

A delightful small hotel located in the historic part of Cartagena. The staff were absolutely fantastic, friendly and accommodating. The included breakfast was excellent. The one thing to be aware of is that the rooms overlooking the street can be noisy, especially during the Christmas festivities while we were there. Music, singing, bells, and other sounds are all clearly audible.

Power went out a few times during the stay but did not cause many issues and usually was back in a few minutes. Great room and friendly staff. Free breakfast was excellent.
