Bogota Vibra Hostel Hostel

We're staying 3 nights, arriving late in the morning on the first night. There was no issue being let in despite the 5:30am timing. The hostel is fairly clean and we were alone on the top floor so the 2 bathrooms weren't a problem, but I imagine it could mean you have to wait for the toilets if all the rooms are full. It was quite cold when we got here so we were given extra fleece blankets which really helped. Breakfast is just some fresh bread and coffee, but that's alright for the price. It's situated very centrally and within walking distance to the main attractions in the old part of town. Overall a nice hostel.

Dirty, very noisy. "Bathroom" is just a crafwork small room in a bedroom. Also, it is really hard to find, especially if you arrive at night. I don't recommend it; it is only a last option if you absolutely ran out of money.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for travellers and backpackers.

Bad location. Very loud noise. The staff were not friendly or helpful. Theres nothing really to do around the town. It's dirty and dangerous. I wouldn't recommend.

It's imposible to rest at this place, a bar is just below and open until 3am. Apart from that the street is really noise, cars people… And in the morning the activity starts really early too. The staff is nice, the only reason not to give just one star.

Cold, hard beds, in breakfastarea onely four seats for 25 peope. Comon areas not nice to meet others. Cold. Private rooms towels not included. Breakfast os toast with jam or cereal with milk. Not good! Cold! At least the area is nice! :)

Amazing place to stay to get stuck into columbian culture. Hairo and William (gulluiro!? ) great lads made me feel at home instantly taking me out and introducing me to lovely columbian ladies! Couldn't recommend any higher! Much love x.

I dont even know where to start this is more than just a hostel, I wanted to stay 2 nights plus I was in a terrible mood when I arrived… its been 7 nights now, Im in a very good mood and will go back in a week again…
these guys are a family, your tour guide, your therapists (in case you need one like I did), the craziest entertainers and your best friend from the moment you walk through the door. If you're looking for something youre not just sent somewhere, theyll take you there! No matter if its a salsa party, colombian food, a groove, a shopping centre, a language exchange/course, tejo (the explosive gunpowder game) or cock fights… whatever youre after they know everything, everyone and will get a great group together to have a good time!
If youre looking at more than just the standard tourist visit to bogota, a bit of the 'real colombia' then its gotta be this place.
Plus there's breakfast, the showers are super hot, the beds and bathrooms clean and theres several lounge areas to chill out if youre not feeling like doing anything! enjoy your stay!

Great hostel. Great value. Great location. The two brothers that run the place love what they do and love showing tourists Colombia.

The best hostel in Bogota, the owners are extremely friendly en very helpful. I could not have a better start of my 3 months stay in Colombia. I had an amazing time and met great friends from all over the world and even better I had the oppertunity to practice my spanish very good. During the trip my mum visited me and we stayed again at the Colombian Dream Hostel. Also my Mum was a great fan of the twin. Thank you so much for the great biking trip!
