Been at Hotel Artistico in Bogota, for a few days at the end of August 2024. I have nothing but good words about it, starting with the organised transfer from the airport, checking-in formalities, staff friendliness and their involvement in enlighten your stay and your safetyness while in the area. The room was fair enough for the money you pay, warm water, private bathroom, the only "grey point" is the noise coming from the inner court (can be overcome by having the ear plugs with you).
Speaking about safetyness: this hotel has the front door closed at anytime, being accessed only by reception. And one more thing: the taxi driver who picked me up from the airport, when I asked how much do I owe him he took me the money, but the people from the hotel apologized and returned the amount considering that they have a bond with these taxi drivers to pick up hotel customers for free. All in all a great experience and I will gladly recommend this hotel for budget travellers!
