Hotel Piso 12 in Q&A

Information is provided based on reviews and may contain inaccuracies.

Where is Hotel Piso 12 located and what is nearby?

The hotel is located in the commercial area of Bello on the 12th floor of a high-rise building. Within walking distance, there are two shopping centers, numerous cafes, local restaurants, and the Niquia metro station, which is located just one block away. Guests note that it is an ideal location for those who wish to be in the center of the city's activity.

What is the check-in process like and how polite is the staff?

Opinions regarding the staff are divided: some guests find the employees to be very friendly, welcoming, and ready to help. However, many others complain of rudeness, arrogance, and despotism, noting that the staff work reluctantly. There have been serious conflicts during check-out, where some guests were unjustifiably accused of stealing items from the room and even had their bags and clothing searched.

How do I get to the room and is there an elevator in the building?

Access to the hotel has its own peculiarities, as it is located inside a commercial building. During the day, entry is through the retail level, and at night, it is through the underground parking entrance. To reach the room, it is necessary to use two different elevators: first, take the elevator to the 6th floor, and then transfer to another elevator to reach the 12th floor.

What are the room amenities and how comfortable are the beds?

The rooms are described as modern; some are suites with Jacuzzis and beautiful city views, while others seem small, like "matchboxes." There are complaints about very hard and high pillows, as well as a lack of blankets, which forced some guests to cover themselves with towels. The rooms have refrigerators with a variety of products, however, some guests reported non-functioning televisions, air conditioners, and bathroom lights.

What is the soundproofing and overall atmosphere of the hotel?

Soundproofing in the hotel is poor, as the walls are made of drywall, making conversations and activities of neighboring guests audible. Guests also complain about loud noise from the gym located above, especially in the early hours (from 3 AM), when the sound of heavy weights being dropped can be heard. Overall, the atmosphere can be either peaceful or noisy due to cleaning taking place at an early hour.

How clean are the rooms and common areas?

Reviews regarding cleanliness are contradictory. Some guests describe the establishment as spotless and clean. Others report poor cleaning, the presence of dust, dirty towels, and even complain about the appearance of cockroaches in the rooms. It was also mentioned that cleaning is sometimes carried out too early, which disturbs the guests' rest.

What additional amenities and services are available at the hotel?

The hotel has its own gym (on the 14th floor), although some visitors are dissatisfied with the level of privacy and quality of service there. Standard toiletries, such as soap and shampoo, are provided in the rooms, but in some cases, there were attempts to charge an additional fee for their use. Additionally, some rooms are equipped with Bluetooth speakers, although guests note difficulty in connecting due to the devices having identical names in all rooms.

The hotel is very clean and small rooms. It's hiden inside of a commercial highrise building located on the 12th floor. Entry is through the ground floor retail business level, but after hours through the garage parking entryway elevator. There you must take the other or a second elevator around the corner onn the 6th floor to the 12th floor. It's very basic without any thrills. Close to everything including the Noquia Metro only a block away.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Piso 21! The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, adding to the comfort of my stay.
One of the highlights was the hotel's great location with access to two malls nearby. There were plenty of cafés and local restaurants offering excellent food deals. Plus, having two Western Union locations right below the hotel was incredibly convenient, especially since they offer better rates for buying back dollars compared to the airport.
For an even more enjoyable experience, I recommend requesting a room with a Jacuzzi and windows facing the city. It added an extra touch of luxury and allowed me to enjoy the beautiful cityscape.
Highly recommend Hotel Piso 21 for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable stay with great amenities and a prime location!
