One Night Hostel

Well established hostel with all the amenities one needs for a good rest in peace and safety. Friendly, welcoming front desk staff and a very clean environment. Across from the trainstation and a street away from the morning market. All the fruits and vegetables you can think about. Lol! There is also a night market a block away. (not sure if it is every night) Saturday, for sure! The hostel only operates from Thursday to Sunday… at this time.

I have no photos of this place… but it is the best place to stay (in my opinion) in Yilan. Directly facing the Yilan train station, it's plus points is that the dorms are well designed. The capsule is super private and spacious. You can sit upright comfortably and there is a lot of space inside. The mattress and pillow is very very comfortable and large. The best part is how quiet it is once inside the capsule. Roommates are considerate mostly as there is not much socialization. The curtains block out light completely. You can really rest and recuperate here. Charging point and light and hanging knobs inside the capsule itself. My clothes could dry by the next morning even when hung inside the capsule. The lockers are also big. Card operated. Very useful. They also provided 3 hangers per locker.
The bathroom is also good. Well designed with hooks and baskets to store your clothes while showering. Free shampoo and body soap that is a lot and doesnt run out. Sink is well designed to prevent spillage and wet floors. Hand soap smelled divine like eucalyptus essential oil. Bathroom doesn't stink and is well ventilated. The best part is how there are enough stalls for showering and toilet use so you never have to wait. This is what I like about this hostel. Also no pop music playing but nice quiet piano ambient music. Very quiet and restful. Staff is also professional and quiet. There is a water dispenser available and trash bin/recycling bin just there beside it too.
