As a Titanium, we asked for a high floor and nice view, and we were given a large room on the 23rd floor out of 24 floors, with a huge window taking up the whole wall.
Even though the room was nonsmoking, there was a strong smell of smoke especially in the bathroom. The hotel opened our windows for the entire second day, and after, the smell was much improved.
The hotel is new, modern, and clean.
The staff were all very nice.
Breakfast was uncrowded and satisfactory.
Nothing is within walking distance, but there is a large mall with a lot of good restaurants a few minutes away by car, which cost 7 RMB by DiDi or taxi.
The hotel is about 20 minutes by car to the Bazaar, Museum, and Red Hill, and the DiDi cost was $3-4.
I had bedbugs in my room.
I stayed two nights in the hotel. The first night I got many bedbug bites on my legs and a few on my arms. I was able to change my room the next night and I didn't get more bites.
The staff apologised for what happened, I got some compensation for the room. However, the staff doesn't believe that I got the bites in their hotel, and the worst thing is that I don't think they took action to solve the bedbug problem.
After two nights, I returned home and the bites got really severe. According to the doctor, they are clearly bedbug bites.
I cannot recommend staying at this hotel to anyone.

I had transit fly through Urumqi and decided to stay one day in Four Point by Sheraton here. There are no sightseeing close to hotel but hotel and dinner buffet in restoran The Mesh (not expensive) on the first floor are perfect!
