I stayed in Radisson Kashgar for 5 nights, Nov 15-20, 2017. All I can say is I wish there was a Radisson in Hotan and Urumqi because the hotels I stayed in there were dumps, even thought they were more expensive than Radisson Kashgar on a per night basis. Once inside the Radisson Kashgar I felt like I was in upper mid-level JW Marriott or Hyatt Regency in San Francisco — really nice. There was always an English speaker worker on on the front desk and everyone was very helpful. Yes, lots of security because of CCP crackdown but that's life in Xinjiang now-a-days. The Radisson Kashgar has a large indoor lap swimming pool; large, very nice, well equipped gym with new equipment and the amenities are top level. The hotel room was real nice. The windows closed tight and I could hardly hear the street noise. There were no screens, wonder if they're removed in winter, summer time would need window screen. I was 12th floor looking west toward mountains which I saw glimpses of through he haze. Overall a really nice hotel my only complaint is there isn't a Radisson Blu Hotel Hoten or Radisson Blu Hotel Urumqi … maybe next time.
