10 minutes walk from the train station, there's a bus stop 1 min from the front door so even though it's far from downtown it's still easy to get around as long as you keep an eye on the bus schedule. The room is clean, self service lobby and self checkout, not much to complain, 2 convenience store next door too.
Departing from Kaohsiung and playing for a whole day, we entered the B&B tiredly. The clean and comfortable space and decoration made people feel relaxed. In the cold weather, turning on the heating and taking a hot shower eliminated most of the worries. After feeling tired, drink a cup of coffee (the B&B has a large kitchen, water dispenser, coffee machine, sparkling water machine, etc. ), play with the children with blocks, and watch TV. The bed and pillows are moderately soft and hard, so you can lie down and sleep. Had a good sleep. In summary, the B&B is well-equipped and affordable. It is a great B&B. It will still be the first choice on my pocket list in the future.

We stayed at the Fun Trip — Little Castle & Oscar B&B as a family of five (kids aged 9, 7, and 4), and we left with mixed feelings. We'd give it a 6 out of 10.
Let's start with the best part: the kids liked the room and it was generally pleasant.
However, from the parents' perspective, we felt there were many basic things missing that impacted our experience. The lobby area was very unwelcoming. While there was a space, it had no coffee, snacks, or any of the small comforts that make a place feel hospitable. There was just a water boiler and a fridge, which felt very minimal.
This feeling unfortunately extended to the staff, who were okay but didn't make any extra effort. We never got the sense that they were trying to make our stay particularly nice or special. The Wi-Fi was also very mediocre and unreliable, which was frustrating.
For those arriving by car, it's also good to know that parking is on the street and is not the B&B's responsibility, so you have to find your own spot.
In summary, if your main priority is a fun, themed room that will make your kids happy, this place could be a good choice. But if you're looking for warm service and the feeling of being taken care of, we'd suggest managing your expectations. It just lacked the welcoming touch that makes a stay memorable.
