The stay was great, the moment I arrive at the entrance, pretty amaze with the zen ness and sanctuary feeling. I personally love and appreciates bamboos. Honestly, it is totally different than checking Into any hotels in the city. Love the 4 breakfast options especially in room dining with no additional charges, free minibar daily, huge bathtub, comfortable bed and impeccable services. In the evening, it was quite a moment to chill at 32m long Long Bar.

Luxury resort experience in the middle of one of my favourite areas of Shanghai. Pool, long-bar and rooms are all beautifully designed to provide an understated, classy experience. We’ll be coming back!

Love the sequence of hotel entrance, it gives tranquility instantly right in the middle of hustling bustling busy Shanghai city centre. The staffs are more than helpful and try their best to accommodate your need, truly hospitality. Breakfast is great and love BOSE player they provided in the room！

A very nice and modern hotel. It happened a few times to get rooms where people smoked and I was highly disappointed. However, things improved in the last few month. The lobby is very cosy and it is a nice place to have a sip at any moment of the day. Rooms are nice and bright. The decoration is a bit cold, the walls deserve a bit of attention, they are too empty. Despite this, the level of service is excellent, breakfast (western) is on the healthy side and the view from the lounge, or the gym, just gorgeous.

This hotel is very nice it feels very quiet, the cleanliness of this hotel is very good. I recommend it is a nice place to rest.

Outstanding hotel with 5-star views of downtown Shanghai and an stunning infinity pool. Rooms are well stocked and feature BOSE speakers and an amazing jaccuzzi bathtub. The hotel itself is tucked into a high-end office complex and possess a hidden garden and pond for relaxed outdoor drinks. For (at the time of writing), a nightly rate of around $300 USD, its well worth the money for a luxury getaway but more budget — minded travelers should consider the nearby Swisshotel Grand.

The best hotel I've ever stayed at. Service and amenities second to none. Adored the long bar, the spa and pool area, the buffet breakfast is AMAZING! The whole hotel is scented and cool and the lighting is amazing, meaning it really is an oasis amidst the bustling and often very hot streets of Shanghai. Could happily live there for the rest of my life!

What seemed to be a nice pick in one of the best areas of Shanghai, Jing'an Park, after quite a bit of online research, turned out to be far better than I bargained for. From the very first moment inside their absolutely stunningly designed entrance and lobby, I sensed that I had scored. Having travelled all around the world staying in some of the finest hotels, The Puli definitely stood out as one of my better hotel experiences. The attention to design and architectural detail was superb – from all of the common areas throughout the property to the rooms, you had this unusual sense of peacefulness but also potently sensual Zen like energy. I stayed on one of the "Club" floors which added a significant level of extra amenities and services – including butler service, complimentary stocked minibar, free laundry service – etc. Etc. I'm not usually a fan of concierge levels as often they don't represent good value, but in this case I would highly recommend this add on. The staff would bend down backwards to accommodate any request (even though some lacked fluency in English) – but whatever language gaps they had they made up for in friendliness and a genuine desire to serve. I would unhesitatingly recommend the Puli for anyone who enjoys a brilliantly designed cutting edge aesthetic at a price that represents excellent value. I'll definitely be returning to the Puli the next time I am in Shanghai!

I've been to the spa for a long time. I remember the taste of a different with the general oil than the essence of the snow-capped mountains are now at last a chance to stay in the evening of Friday to stay in line to see the checkin when the waiter said minibar free suddenly expect the room is not as big as the imagination It just came to mind that a hotel I had just lived in Phuket was just too much of a price. But it's half the size, but it's a lot bigger. Look at the mini bar, totally disappointed in the right hand side of the door. Three kinds of small chocolate cashew and a big white rabbit. The basics in the fridge are juice and beer. The charge of a bath bath salt also quite a lot of spare is har and before the downstairs to do the spa taste like suddenly in time and space through the people who only taste eternal living in memory the picture is already hued bed is a little bit messy. This is an ideal escape from city life. The occasional heart is tired Do not want to fly long lived to a secluded weekend is good after all, eating and shopping is also convenient for the gym is complete.

Wonderful hotel. Staff was so accommodating and made us feel at home during our two stays over 10 days traveling China. My favorite hotel I've stayed at in Shanghai. Excellent mix of Asian and modern deign, close to the metro and high-end shopping. It's a wonderful experience and feels more white glove service than some of the larger chains. They've never said no to any request including running around town for things we needed. A+

The Puli Hotel is a great oasis right in the centre of Shanghai. A great design from the lobby to the rooms. Very good access to the subway. Most recommended.

Excellent hotel in a great location. The rooms are extremely comfortable and spacious. The bar in the lobby is always good for a late evening drink.

The hall NIBGT BAR, so there are many business people in lobby with afternoon tea or coffee in the night, a lot of small, as appropriate, guests, atmosphere is very good~the night doorman service attitude is cold~in, the first day of service because of the need to send welcome fruit, ring the doorbell, we didn't respond to a direct use of a proximity card to open our door to come in. ~ The second day is also said to water with ice and use a proximity card to open the door to come in. ~~feel really uncomfortable!

Superb oasis of calm in the centre of Shanghai. Friendly and professional young staff, excellent view and frankly there is nothing at all to complain about. The room was great and so too was breakfast although we were happy not to have had it included so that we could try the wealth of other options in the neighbourhood each morning.

Absolutely loved this place. Stunning. Impeccable service. Beautiful rooms, bar, and health club. The pool area is also a lovely piece of tranquility to escape the big city hustle. Will be back.

Absolutely astonishingly good. I would *never* have expected a Chinese owned hotel to provide the best service of any hotel I stayed at in 2014 — but the service here was literally flawless, and put to shame the $1000/night resort I came from on the Great Barrier Reef. Room Decor: thoughtfully handled, lots of clever, useful design touches all while keeping a traditional Chinese look and feel. Bar: quiet enough to do some work, great bartending (finally! a bar in China which can make a great Negroni) Service: my butler came in the morning to remind me Club rooms had free laundry and did I have anything to wash? and same again at 6pm. "Mr W, it's 6pm — would you like a complimentary aperitif sent up from the bar? " A million times better than the usual "5*" chain hotels in China (Kempinski, Sofitel, Shangri-La, etc), and for my tastes the best hotel in Greater China (including the Mandarin's in HK. ). Great value for money too — make sure to get a Club room, the small increase in price pays for itself many times over.

Hotel literally beautiful, absolutely crazy decoration. The room we had was very spacious and Nice, the bathtub looked out over the city and we were in height making it all absolutely magical.
