Hop Inn Hostel

A cosy and comfortable hostel environment clean and sanitary, staff is very friendly.

Lovely place. The rooms and the public space are very comfortable. I think I will come back again.

Nice hostel with nice staffs. Feel comfortable and be like in home. Lots of shower rooms with hot water that make me feel relax after whole busy day. Will visit and stay in here again.

I booked the private room. Eventhough it's a small room. But I will come back again when I visit HK. And this hostel is in a strategic location. In the heart of tsim tsa tsui. 7-eleven and Sasa is super close.

This place is clean and laid back. There are lots of showers and lots of hot water. Dorm beds have curtains, light and power, so all good there. Free tea and coffee, which means you don't need to go out right away in the morning! Will stay again. Close to stops for Cityflyer buses to and from the airport. Close to Nathan and Temple streets, as well as Kowloon park.

It's a nice hostel at reasonable price, the room and bathroom is very clean and staff were very nice, it has several nice restaurants downstairs and is right next to the metro station. At night it is very quiet while people can still enjoy chatting at the lobby.

Nice clean hostel for budget travelers and backpackers. Common room have lots of books and DVD’s that you can borrow to use in your room. A coin-laundry with ironing table comes quite handy for long-stayers.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
To the small ping number of space arrangements, not too crowded, but because the soundproofing is not very good, listen to the door of other tenants at night or next door to talk on the phone, not very good sleep. There were some distinctive portraits on the wall, but every time I woke up, I was startled by the uncle of the black suit on the foot of the bed.

The guest house is easy to locate. At the time of visit one of the elevator was not working so it was a tad bit confusing but we located another elevator quickly. Upon arrival, the first thing about the guest house was that it looked like a really hip dorm with art quotes, sketches, postcards everywhere and a chill common area with some game consoles right next to reception. After signing in, as soon as we entered our room, there were 5 bunk beds and also a weird stench which made it difficult to stay in that room. Luckily, when we got back later that day, the room had been cleaned up and the stench wasn't there anymore. Overall, it's a great place to stay, meet some new people and very close to the station and affordable.

Very clean, good location but definitely NOT a social hostel. There were groups of Chinese people staying there who were only hanging out with their group so it was really hard to meet people. Hard to say if it's always like that or just when I was staying. Staff was nice and friendly but not very helpful with tourist attractions in the city.

I stayed in a 4 person room for 8 nights. It was full except for the last 2 nights where I was the only one in the room which was awesome. It's a clean hostel. Win at reception is very friendly and helpful.

3rd visit to the hostel in 4 years. Good value for money. The most recent visit in March wasn't the best though. The room we stayed in had an incredibly noisy aircon. We hardly were able to sleep a wink.

For our stopover from Lima to Kuala Lumpur, we spent three nights here.
A great hostel, our room was well located, from it size okay. Bathroom, beds were OK and it was very clean.
A great rooftop terrace, free coffee and tea.
The location is great.
The hostel has charm and I really can recommend it.

Excelent service. The people here is so friendly and they are always ready to offer support to the travelers. The room were I stayed was always so clean. The location is perfect! Just 3 minutes walking to metre station. I definitely would back here!. After staying overnight @ JW Marriott Hongkong to welcome the Lunar New Year 2018 @ the Harbour, but Grand Fireworks display was cancelled due to bus accident and mourning in HK, we transferred to Hop Inn on Mody… a very accessible, budget friendly, cozy and quaint place to stay right in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui…

Great but beds aren't the best. Otherwise, sevices offered are fantastic. Great hostel experience.

It's the coolest and chillest around… staying though a bit short for the experience of a feeling of being at home away from home was never felt at all, cozy and all staff treat us the way any 5-star hotel does… basic necessities are met up and all enquiries are answered completely… guaranteed to be coming back soon… Since kindergarten grade, HK's been my comfort place, now it has become better, because I have come to know Hop Inn… thnx Win, our info desk officer when we left back for home. Also, To Mr Kwan who welcomed us. Kung Hei Fat Choi…

Great location and nice price.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice! Traffic location is very convenient, downstairs has convenient shops, snacks, very close to the subway, the room is a little small, but can experience another kind of Hong Kong life culture, very suitable for small couples, backpackers live.

Nice place. They have free coffee and tea. It is located in the center so there's a lot of restaurant nearby.

Not a hotel, but a very nice hostel. Small rooms, with thin walls but cool street art/hipster vibe.

This hostel is located on the 9th floor which can be accessed next to the 7/11 convenience store. We had a double room, which was small but clean and included its own shower. If you plan to be exploring the city more than relaxing at the hotel, then this is the place for you. It is cheap compared to other local hotels.

The private room we had was pretty clean. The bed is comfy. I was just taken aback with the glass shower + toilet. Location was pretty spot on — — just a few meters off of the TST station.

If ever I have to go back again in Hong Kong I would still choose Hop Inn. Best place to stay in town. Safe, clean and just worth every penny. The rooftop terrace is relaxing. Thank you Hop Inn.

Fantastic place to stay in a central location. Would 100 per cent book again. Staff are very helpful, friendly and at your service 24/7. Rooms are small but relatively normal for Hong Kong. This is made up for by a lovely shared space with kitchenette style facilities and a big rooftop area with seating and greenery. Loved the artsy vibe too, be sure to leave your mark on the walls. Qantas FFs can also book with points! :) 10/10

Great location. The public area is very cozy. Rooms are small but there are the best you can get in HK!

First of all very CLEAN, which is so important for me that I decided to stay longer than planned. Free coffee and water service is just amazing. Wi-Fi connection is very fast as everyone remarks. Fully air-conditioned, also one of the points that promises you a comfortable stay. Each bed is equipped with two sockets and a spot light. Most staffs are very friendly and helpful. Easy access from a bus stop (within 5-min walk) where A21 (from Airport) stops. Neighbourhood: Full of restaurants (mostly low/middle-budget), luxurious bars and convenience stores such as 7/11, Circle K. Notice: 1. The elevator might be out of service (and I was once trapped inside for several minutes). 2. Be careful of the traffic, for the most drivers ignore pedestrian and don't even use turn signals (so frustrating).

According to the hotel to the way of arrival, a smooth location near the subway, downstairs there is a convenience store, McDonald's and many places to eat, belly hungry do not fear, the room is very comfortable, even live 3 nights, garbage every day to pour, credit card into the room, a person living is also safe, the entire layout of the environment is very good, there is a shared air-conditioned room, outdoor small court (Summer is not advisable to go out, too hot), and then visit Hong Kong will want to live again!

Trendy, hip and cheerful hostel. The room is clean. I am most impressed by the staff's honesty who cleaned the room after we checked out and returned the valuable item to the counter and kept it for us after we have confirmed we have accidentally lost it. Thumbs up Hip Inn. We just luv the place and yessss… u guys rock.

My 3rd time for Hop Inn Carnarvon. Everything is OK as I had written in my previous reviews. Convenient location, smooth free Wi-Fi, hipster-style decoration (with some cracks on the wall though), friendly staff, 7-11 besides the building. Anyway, I have experienced two disadvantages. First, the elevator has a problem during my stay. Guests have to walk from 8th to 9th floor by the stair. The environment at the 8th floor is quite unpleasant and awkward. But nothing seems harmful. Second, despite written clearly on the door "silent after 11PM" (or something like that). Guests besides my room kept talking, laughing and sometimes yelling until 3AM. The nosies from the street also came into my room (car horn, people shouting in the middle of the night, etc). This might be hard for a light-sleeper person. But I don't have much trouble, sleep well through all 3 nights. Overall, I still have a good feeling with Hop Inn. May stay at this place again next time. :)

This is my 2nd time to HopInn, the last was probably 2 yrs back. The place still maintained the cleanliness, which is good. Staff are friendly and speak English. The communal Space is really nice n cozy, with free flow water and coffee n tea. The rooftop garden is also very nice and accessible for my fren who smokes. Only thing is that the paint in the rooms are quite worn with cracks which makes the place look old n less clean. The lift used to serve to the actual level of the hostel but now we have to climb one floor up n had to walk through the narrow stairways where there were trash n smell which was not very pleasant. Overall the place is still good with excellent location. The communal space is nice esp when travelling with a group of friends/another couple friends so can chillout there after a long day out. =)

Forget the hotels, this place is amazing.
