An oasis of tranquillity fairly close to the highly popular town of YangShuo. The rooms are spacious, clean with their own airco. The corridors are open to the outside — a terrace here, an open wall there. The view from the fourth floor rooms across the river is stunning. The hotel was constructed 2004-2006 and has a wonderful mix of traditional aesthetics and modern convenience. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We took the 2 hour calligraphy class offered by a local professional artist — it was definitely worth the money (RMB 80-100 per hour depending on the size of the group/no. Of hours).
