Another great stay at the Shangri-La Hotel for business and a birthday celebration. Management and staff at the Horizon Club gave us the best birthday and a special surprise gift. I was not only stay here but also held a big event during my stay (Market Sounding of Indonesia PPP Project). I was really being help by Shangri-la staff especially by Ms. Canny Guo and Ms. Mandy that had been very responsive and patient to fulfill our detail request during the event. I also see the sincerity to help from all the staff. They always smile and greet me. The room is also great. I love the cookies! I love the modern style TV mode. Only one thing that I and our Indonesian Colleague do not like: the location is far away from downtown and there is no convenience store near the hotel.

All of the staff in the morning and evening on the 34th floor Horizon Club are some of the most excellent I've experienced at a Shangrila hotel or any other. This is my first stay in Guangzhou Shangri-La Hotel, but the overall service is impressive, not only cordial, handling things quickly, service enthusiasm, clean environment. Even the attitude of the baggage-carrying staff is so good that I have no words to leave a good memory for the future. As long as you get to Guangzhou, Shangri-La Hotel is my only choice.

Had an excellent stay together with my guests in your hotel. The staff at the Horizon Lounge were so attentive and caring that we have decided to make this our official hotel for GZ despite the location being not so convenient. Special thanks to Wing Tang & Ingrid Liu for leading their team so well, every quarter empty glass was filled and hot drinks were replenish after every 45 minutes. The front desk is less skilled and is not aware of the multi-fold integration activities of Shangri-La and China Eastern.
The next day, when I was going to use the withdrawal service, the guide also insisted that only jade or above membership could enjoy the benefit, but the staff at the front desk were very proficient in the operation.
Summer Palace menu is not marked with a pot of orange juice price, only a single cup price, resulting in our budget exceeded the standard.

Insanely high deposits are charged at registration. Their amount exceeds the cost of living. It's nonsense. The bill is displayed in the RMB, but they make a postscript that the cost will be recalculated in USD. On what grounds?
For lunch in the restaurant where in the morning served buffet ordered salad, soup and hot dish. They brought it all together. Ate-ate on the table was enough space. Hot if cold.

Love the friendliness of staff at front desk. Very helpful. Offer room upgrade, which was applauded. Room facility was good. Services were thoughtful. Conceirge staff were good too, offer good advice to us in our little exploration around the hotel district. All in all a very memorable and comfortable short trip and hotel experience.

Feel that the staff will only have some mechanical operation, and other high-end hotel chain compared to the service has a big drop, service is poor until I began to reflect is not my own expectations of the Shangri-La brand too high?

I am a room that uses points to redeem, along with my husband. We are all diamond members. We want to be able to stay on one floor when we stay at Horizon Club. The Horizon Club waiter was very helpful because there was no other room on the same floor that day, and the waiter helped upgrade to the deluxe floor. The check-in experience is very good.

I would especially like to bring a very special mention to sobria always listening to our needs and very efficient and also has the kindness of all your personal.

Service was very good. The room was average and not better than a room in a hotel that would be half the price or less. Other hotels give much better value for money.

From the moment I walked in the front door, the service was utterly first class. I will have NO hesitation in staying here again. whilst all staff I met were great, Gita in the club lounge deserves a special mention.

I am from Taiwan and have the honor of attending the oral exhibition in Guangzhou for the first time. It is very thoughtful for the hotel to offer free exhibition shuttle service during the exhibition period. It is a pity that checkout to take a shuttle bus to the subway station to catch a plane before leaving, asking Miss welcome, she kindly asked us to rest in the lobby first and remind us to get a lift, 　But when she came to ask us to take a ride at the door, the young master at the door let us helplessly watched the empty bus go straight away, now feel quite shocked and angry, in our welcome to the Tongren Department of the reaction after a seemingly female director of public relations came to understand and help take a taxi to the subway station, I think the present The responsiveness and message of your hotel colleagues is yet to be strengthened, but the overall quality of accommodation is quite satisfactory.

The hotel is in a great location. The rooms are spacious, the service and the staff are always striving for the well-being of the guests. The restaurants are relatively expensive but high quality.

Number 22nd through the app booking 23rd check-in Guangzhou Shangri-La 2101 Rooms (two peers), 23rd normal stay. 23rd morning out of office, back to the hotel, was forced to ask for security checks, button staff random touch, in the absence of my consent to the security personnel at will open the check, attitude is very poor. Tell them it's the security department. Then to the room to call the Hotel Customer Service center, complaints. The receptionist has been trying to evade responsibility, and there is no real solution. The hotel has reception government personnel, need security to understand, but we as the hotel guests, also did not get any relevant notice, or need to pay attention to matters. Excellent service at the Club Horizon with Ingrid's team has delivered the kind of hospitality, efficiency and caring exceeded my expectation. Highly impressed even though the club floor was always with a lot of guest and the team has manage to maintain a very high and good standard. Also impressed with the team spirit there when even the Hotel Manager, Director of Rooms appeared during the peak hours and worked hand in hand with the staff which shows good team spirit and unity there.

I had a great time there the staff were very welcoming and did what they could to make my stay more enjoyable, excellent buffet the range of food was amazing and it was all delicious.
I would definitely stay at the Shangri-la Guangzhou again.

Overall very good! I But for the price I paid, airport transfer costs could have been included. I was told 180RMB and when I got the airport I was charged 250RMB. There should be internal taxi service which standard rate that can be trusted. Thank you.

I had high expectations of the Shangri-La Guangzhou because it is a 5 star hotel. However, my expectations were exceeded: the staff were friendly and obliging beyond what might be expected; the service was very professional and to a uniformly high standard; the food was of a consistently high quality and the choice was imaginative and comprehensive; my room and the public areas were cleaned and maintained to a consistently high standard.

We stayed here for our visit to canton fair, was fantastic. We were traveling with our 3 month old baby and the hotel were very helpful with accommodating us. Food was great and hotel facilities were excellent. Would definitely go back.

We stayed 4 days, total. Original reservation was for 3 days prior to the Spring Festival, but the staff were able to extend an additional day to encompass the Lunar New Year. Extremely pleasant staff, very helpful and courteous — from the second we walked into the lobby for check-in until we boarded our outbound ride after checkout. Top notch service in every way! We ate a number of times at the Wok Too Cafe for breakfast and dinner. The food selection was varied, including western dishes as well as Asian cuisine. The food was well prepared and never a shortage of offerings from which to choose. The food was quite tasty and we found ourselves "stuffed" after almost every meal. Our highest compliments to Rod Szeto, Scott Henderson and the entire staff for making our dinning experiences first rate. The room was spacious (42sq. M) and laid out in a pleasant and logical manner. The king sized bed was VERY comfortable, as would be expected at a hotel of this caliber, and provided a very good night sleep. The bathroom (washroom) was well stocked and had a soaking tub separate from the shower — several relaxing episodes were had here. Everything worked as it should, and there were plenty of extras/amenities in case they were needed. Marble, marble and more marble — very elegant. We got the Riverview room — a great view of the Pearl River from our floor. The hotel common areas were IMMACULATE! Very clean and well decorated. Marble everywhere!

The only bad thing is, I ordered a room, after two days need to order a room, tell me the duplicate name can not be set, so I lost the app Book 3 times times integral activity, quite a pity.

The room is very good, can see the river view, the scenery is very beautiful, and the hotel is very spacious and bright, give people a kind of enlightened feeling, health also clean very good.

1. When I arrived at the shop, the receptionist in the lobby said that I would ignore me in Cantonese. It was about 10 minutes before I went to the club reception and was alone, and I was asked.
Extremely bad. 2. Snack time in the evening. Club no one controls it. Especially 31.12.2017. No drinks (sweets juice). No cake and so on. The situation is like a market and a children's playground. Even more so, someone took a tables and sat down.
I can't imagine a five-star hotel clubhouse like this. 3. I left the hotel about two o'clock in the afternoon I pressed the DND, suddenly in the room received the female staff phone to ask whether to clear, clean the room. It really woke me up.

What a grand hotel. From the moment of check in, entering the guest room, looking at the window scenery over the river in Guangzhou to the buffet dinner. It is one rollercoaster ride of luxury, good service, wonderful surroundings to sheer pleasure of enjoying like royalties. Highly recommended.

Room was fantastic, bed was a little hard for my liking. Well worth the executive room.
Manager present in the lounge making you feel welcomed. Breakfast was as best as you get for a lounge, both ala cart and buffet. Happy Hour was an unexpected treat.

Great hotel, good internet, good food and rooms.

Because this is her location not good so see her little hard time. Seats are comfortable, but between the seat and seat post seat washing line post time more difficult. Very nice, new, and the staff are very courteous! Very helpful indeed — especially the concierge. A bit pricey, but expect impeccable service. You won't go wrong with this hotel!
