3-Star Hotels in Siming3*

Hands down best trip I have had to Xiamen. Nothing fancy, just a clean, simple homestay near the beach. Peaceful and quiet neighbourhood. The hosts, Ellie and Henry were absolutely lovely people.

This is more than just a hotel. I've traveled many places around the world, but I've never met such helpful and accommodating people.

3 night stay for 5 adults in 3 rooms.
Upside:
(1) Location — Rooms booked by travel operator had sea views overlooking Gulangyu Island and the pretty seaside promenade.

We stayed at Hotel Indigo Xiamen from 3rd to 6th Nov 2024. Upon check in, room was quite warm as the curtains were not drawn. Check in was fast and fuss free.

Restored old mansion. Used as a tea house, photography venue and just a few guest rooms. Rooms are compact and clean.

Had an unexpected but truly first-class experience at the Xiamen Airlines Hotel on Lianhua South Road, courtesy of a transit stay via the airline.
