➜ Gulangyu Island belongs to China Fujian Province. Listen to name will know that it is an island. Going to the island must take a boat ride. Because it is the holiday crowds really are a lot a lot. We go the time is already afternoon. So okay. The island is without cars. Completely are walking. The goods are by rickshaw. Good retro. The island is everywhere the heritage building. Are the Western wind. Is also up early this foreigner firm much more special. So very special. Eat tapas seafood. See the corsages corsages. Worth a result of the good places.

➜ May 2018. Very beautiful island on 2 sides. A very nature and the other very urban, but without a car or bike there are small spots here and there to give objectives for a stroll. Including the Sunlight Rock, the highest point of the island at 93m above sea level. Superb 360° view of the island, against the access fee. The centre with all its small restaurants is very nice. Another positive point is that there is shade everywhere. Avoid the weekends, it is crowded.

This was an island used and built by europeans, but the chinese does not say it, taking the profits. The buildings dated 1850 are very beautiful, those recent chinese ones are ugly. Without cars, we can have happy hours walking into magnificent trees and small romantic streets. It was better in 1880, see pics. (JB 1841)
