Hotel Jianguo is an ideal location for business, based in the Chaoyang district only 25-30 mins from the airport by taxi and close to Yonganli and Guomao metro stations (in fact Yonganli is essentially next door). The staff here are very efficient and friendly and many of the staff speak good English. At one point there was an issue with my safe box and someone came to solve the issue within a couple of minutes. The breakfast is a buffet with plenty of options in both Western and traditional Chinese fare with eggs cooked to order if desired. The rooms are comfortable, very clean and with modern decor. The only downside of the whole hotel is its proximity to the main road outside. While this is an advantage travel-wise some people may find the traffic noise an issue if you are one particular side of the building.

The hotel requires a cosmetic repair.

Recently had my 3rd stay at this hotel for business in Beijing. It's very close to the metro and within walking distance to many restaurants. I think the staff are very helpful and I haven't had problems w/ English. Breakfast buffet is good. Some rooms are dated but the 2nd tower is fully renovated and you can ask for a room over there. The lobby bar has a great happy hour special and is a tranquil place to relax after a hectic day in Beijing!

Hotel amenities are fine but dated. Whilst the location is near to a metro station, it is not on the best line location to get around places. The site is close to impossible to get taxies due to its street layout so we found this highly inconvenient as independent travellers. Unfortunately the reception and concierge services were poor so they weren’t much help. Poor service by international standards. Breakfast service was pricey and had limited selections. Would not choose to stay there again.

Rude stuff and not helpful at all. When I arrived my room was not ready and while waiting they didn't even offer me a coffee or water but I had to pay for it. The English of the stuff are terrible. They don't understand you and it's impossible to communicate even for the simplest thing! Do NOT try the evening buffet. The worst food ever and do not eat fish!

Very well clean and secure beside many mall and recognised stores.

This was my third time staying at Jiangou and I will stay again in the future. Everything is nice — the room is comfortable, clean, and modern. The lobby is vibrant, and conducive to casual social and business conversations. The breakfast is excellent. The location is very convenient, and the unique building design is a refreshing highlight to return to after a busy day in Beijing. The staff are wonderful, accommodating, and helpful. My only criticism is that prior to my arrival I tried contacting the hotel three times via email (provided on the website) but did not get a response.

The hotel was very good. The room was clean and the room was comfortable, and the rooms were spacious and fresh, and everything was all right, all of the time. On TV shows Russian channel Russia. The hotel lobby was very nice. The hotel is very nice and clean. The subway's very close, McDonald's, Starbucks. The hotel was very friendly and helpful. One did not like that: in the settlement he asked the employee of the hotel 3000 yuan that there was a greater amount of accommodation negotiating to 500. This was the first time on our journey.

I found this hotel by chance and I fell in love for the garden room. It was a dream: just the water and not the traffic, nature and not bricks. I want to come back soon because, for personal reasons, I couldn't swim in the swimming pool and I couldn't gym. Breakfast was great and the ambience low profile but cleaned. There are just two things I would like the hotel could improve… more people speaking English and, dreams of dreams, in the garden room wall that erase or reduce noises and voices from the other rooms. The last will be hard to obtain but the first… please more English for everybody… in any case I will and I'm suggesting this hotel to everybody.

Jianguo Hotel has a very convenient location in the diplomatic and business district of Beijing, a minute’s walk from the metro and five minutes’ walk from the Silk Market which is great for all sorts of shopping from pearls to twinsets, sunglasses and collectibles. Guests here can enjoy the indoor pool with its glass roof, the gym, or just contemplate the garden before heading to either the formal Chinese restaurant, the French restaurant, the pub, the lobby bar, café or patisserie. Rooms have cable TV, air-conditioning, minibar, safe, tea and coffee making facilities, telephone and hairdryer.

Beijing Jianguo Hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable and well-equipped, with international standards, including business rooms, executive rooms and deluxe business suites. The hotel also has a number of amenities including IDD line, wireless Internet access, a fully equipped business center, 24-hour room service, the room is equipped with satellite TV, coffee tea maker, mini bar, personal safe, an iron and ironing board, hair dryer.

Downtown. Clean. Good breakfast.

Excellent location, nearby China world and trad market of Xiu Shui. It's a most ancien hotel in Beijing, the room is a bit old, and the bfs is very sample.

This is a very conveniently located Hotel, with cozy ambience and reasonably priced. We had great time staying at JianGuo Hotel. It is close to a metro station, and if you simply take a walk behind the hotel you run into a tidy neighborhood with small grocery stores and fruit stands. Accross the JianGuoMen avenue there is a modern mall with a super-market with everything one can find in the US. Make right turn and go North on DongDaQiao street and you will run into many small restaurants and stores with sitting on the sidewalk. Walk up about 2KM and you will find "The Place" mall with the largest LED overhead screen. Keep going West on JianGuoMen and you will eventually run into the TienAnMen square.
