Cheap Hotels in Santiago

We had a good experience in this little but professionally-run and clean hotel. We made our booking and they confirmed to receive us at a late arrival time.

Truly worthy of its high rating. Superbly comfortable beds, delicious breakfasts and gracious service by all staff including Stefan!

Great hostel with super friendly owners! It is literally 10 mins from the airport. Room was spacious and very cozy. There is also a lovely doggo security:) Best place to stay by the airport!

Yesterday, I checked into David’s hostel and was immediately impressed by the cleanliness and charm of my room, which provided me with a wonderful night’s sleep.

Best breakfast in Latin America, so far. And very nice host. I imagine it all depends on whether she has time and it is not too busy. I paid around €40 for my accommodation.

Felipe and his family are amazing hosts who were so generous and kind. I came to see the comet and they took me places to observe the comet. I was travelling alone and needed some help.

Tambo Verde is an awesome little hostal located close to an active part of downtown. The staff are extremely helpful.
We've stayed here once before and will again.

A wonderful hostel. Ivan is a great host, breakfast was a delicious communal event and it seems like the hostel attracts great people from a range of backgrounds.

This place has such a magical atmosphere and the kindest host/owner of all time. The hostel is located in a very safe and walkable neighborhood full of amazing food and shops.

Merced 88 was the perfect hostel for spending a few days in Santiago.
The neighbourhood is beautiful with a lot of nice cafés, restaurants and parks but it’s still quiet in the night.

Christian and Malik are amazing and were super helpful during my stay. I came back here 3x while traveling through Chile and would recommend it to anyone.

As a solo traveler, I somehow not delighted by the male receptionist because all he’s got to offer is the tour and transport to the airport.

It was my first hostel experience and certainly the first of many! Guanako and its entire staff were fantastic and contributed greatly to making everything more than perfect!

It was located in beautiful part of central area and very safe. The staff were very kind and helpful. The building was a grand old building with interesting history.

Brilliant location. Breakfast was good and served early.
Very noisy if your room is facing the street, windows not insulated so noise from the bar below into the early hours.

Rented the van for 30 days, from Santiago to Punta Arenas. Drove more than 6000km without any issues. The van has everything for cooking and very comfy camping chairs. The thick blankets were great.

Positive: Clean, nice staff, very well positioned and good value for money. Negative: Rooms facing the street can be very noisy. There is a kebab shop where people stay chatting well past midnight.

I have stayed at this hostel on 2 seperate occasions now. It’s a great place with a fun community. Special mention to the awesome staff Mauro, Khristie and Florencia!

Great accommodation and service here from Rodrigo and his assistant Marley. Rooms are what exactly as they appear in the photos, nice areas to relax in the courtyard.

This hotel is in a great location across from park space. You can walk to most things to see in Santiago. Breakfast was an egg sandwich, and the servers were very friendly.

We loved this quirky little hotel. We stayed here late January 2025
It had plenty of cracks and scrapes everywhere but it was clean!
