Comarca was my home for two weeks while I worked in Pichilemu. I couldn’t have asked for a better home base. I wasn’t entirely sure about the location or hostal before arriving but it’s wonderful. Location wise it’s in a great part of town an easy walk to Playa Hermosa, a grocery store and many great shops and cafés. I didn’t have a car during my stay but if I did I’d especially chose to stay here because you can still access everything easily while staying in comfort tucked away from downtown Pichilemu. Even without a car though (I rented a bike) I loved the location!
The hostal is so nice. The kitchen facilities are incredible, the rooms are cozy (and bed comfortable! ), and the hot tub is such a bonus! Above all else though Ismael is wonderful. He’s incredibly caring and will do whatever he can to make your stay perfect. He allowed me to use the laundry facilities, personally helped me arrange a bike rental for the duration of my stay, and even lent me personal surf equipment and explained the surf conditions and what days would be best to go surf! He frequently checked in to make sure everything was okay and he’d even come by to drop off extra goodies from his garden or to make a smoothie to share from time to time. I guarantee you will not receive this type of personal attention anywhere else. Couldn’t recommend this place more! If I come back to Pichilemu again I’ll definitely be coming back to Comarca.
