The only hotel in Santiago where you cannot leave your bag at the wardrobe during a banquet (for security reasons, they say). However, the second you offer a generous tip, the security issue is forgotten and your bag accepted.
It happened twice, each time during events organized by well known embassies.

In the heart of the city, A fabulous mall next door, lots of places to walk. A beautiful park behind hotel. You can get your nails and hair done in hotel. Excellent breakfast and the famous LatinGrill restaurant in Hotel. Awesome place to stay.

Ignacia is the friendliest and informative concierge, one can ask for. She gave me infirmation from bus rides to tour prices. Local restaurants to fancy fine dining places. All with a smile in her face and while noting down everything she sais… Clean rooms, warm welcoming staff.

Im here long term for work. Its unbelievable how they never vacuum the room, what irritates me even more is that they give you're breakfast check and you didnt even get the chance to sit down or have sip of your coffee or tea. Many times I have to wait so long to get my coffee served to me.

The staff is extremely approachable, helpful, and accommodating. I am an English speaker and sort of understand Spanish and yet the staff makes me feel right at home, speaking in English to me, even as I try to stumble my way through speaking in Spanish. The lobby is beautiful and spacious with great stonework on the floor and an amazing high ceiling of wood and glass. They have a nice health and fitness center with an outdoor pool and hot tub. I have a nice corner room fairly high up. The hotel is within walking distance of a super market, indoor/outdoor mall, and public park. Everyone is friendly, despite my particular communication barrier. If possible, in the future, I might request a room on the North side with a better view of the Andes, though with all the tall buildings around the view might still be a little restrictive.

Gran Hotel, with a view to much of Santiago, located near the mall Parque Arauco next to Av Kennedy, ideal for all types of meeting.
I visit why I agreed to meet with a close relative, we ate in a high floor great variety of candies with a sufficient view towards the Cordillera and all the south side behind Kennedy.

Marriott Santiago has one of the best Hotel Lounges in terms of food and service. It is VERY noisy compared to Sheraton Santiago's Piso 21, but the variety of food makes up for it. It is unfortunate that the hotel doesn't have an indoor heated pool to be able do laps. The gym equipment and space however, is really good. Location is pretty good too since it 's just right beside the park & the mall (Parque Arauco).

The lobby restaurant is a mess. The cold dumplings, the burnt pizza, is asked for change and everything comes the same. Bad service.

Attention area in the lobby bar extremely slow. Business Center is usually dirty and messy. I have been embarrassed when I arrive with customers and have not removed the cookies and cans from previous meeting.

Cocktail party dessert and seafood good, rice half-cooked, interior with fresh flowers, suitable for weddings or other activities.

Luxury and good place. Apart is expensive but as it is luxury it is recommended to have it. A good $. Apart has a clinic beside between of the building apart places for meetings or tourist.

Nice hotel in an upscale neighbourhood. Rooms are large and well kept, but feels a little tired and probably not renovated for the last 15 years. Lots of security staff in lobby can be a little creepy. The lounge is nice with beautiful views and great staff. Pool area is relaxing but in the shade early in the afternoon.

It's worth what you pay for, excellent attention. Good food, good view, parking, nice setting, and close to a shopping mall and a huge and beautiful park. Nothing to say more that is a nice experience booster so go and enjoy SJDJDHD.

A hotel that has everything one needs, good attention, good facilities, good recreation spaces like outdoor heated pool, bars at night, very very good breakfast, spacious rooms and with very good view especially in high floors, and if one Search on Travel Pages you can find good packages, ideal to spend two or three nights for shopping.

A really majestic hotel, luxury on all sides, huge meeting rooms, an incredibly beautiful Hall, with a lot of people at your service and super attentive and friendly, all the details cared for, there are two towers, whereupon 2 tickets but do not communicate with each other, is right next to Parque Arauco shopping mall so it is ideal for a shopping getaway in a super chic and luxurious way, the Parque Arauco has the luxury district where you have all the most exclusive shops in the textile and leather goods market.

The stay was good until at check out the front desk person acted like the Lounge Police. I was with a couple of colleagues who were going to take me to the airport but we had an hour to kill. Decided to go up to the lounge to get privacy and talk. The front desk guy was noisy and said I could only have one guest. Well they already had the keys to go up and could have easily been up there waiting for me. But they were being nice waiting for me. I told them to just go up since check out was taking long as well. He went to his manager to ask permission and she said NO. Then I asked her to come out. We spoke about it and I understand that if everyone brings extra guests it does become a nuisance but it was afternoon and there was no one in there but us. This interaction turned my good stay into an annoying stay. No other property has ever policed me at the front desk. I understand if it was a food serving time and it were busy to police the amount of guests but this was a dead time. And how can I feel like a VIP when I just got policed and treated like a child. So, if you ever have more than 1 guest hide it from the front desk as they are the Lounge Police as well. Very disappointed in the front desk person and his manager.

Hotel hospitality is great. I had a room on the 17th floor & the views we're amazing. The beds we're not as comfortable as I expecting for a Marriott, a bit more stiff than the Marriott's I have stayed at in the US. But I would still definitely stay there again.

Very good location, especially if you're wanting to explore more than just the city. Complementary hot chocolate on arrival and a great, healthy breakfast selection if you chose to have breakfast there. Good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. Tip: pay all hotel bills in USD to avoid tax.

Upscale and modern hotel with several restaurant choices and close to many of the city parks. The airport is a long way from the city anyway, so good choice for international travelers.

Love visiting the Santiago Marriott hotel, my stay was awsome as usual, the staff in general made my stay even better. I extend an special thanks to the staff at the executive lounge. Great view all around and fantastic food!

Executive club with incredible service. Great breakfast buffet. Love returning here. Also love going to the park behind the hotel for a run. Mall and a grocery store are very close walking distance. Also recommend the food at the bar. The subway station is about a mile walk.

Very bad experience,
I left the night of the 13th of February, we pulled out at 11 on Sunday morning and 30 minutes later call to say that I'm sticking my shirt to sleep in the room hung in the bathroom; they were to return the call which never happened and until today 25 February I have not received a response, and that we are partners since 3 years ago…

My name is Robert Marianetti, I have never stayed at the Marriott Santiago, but for anyone considering staying at this hotel, you will be treated unbelievably great. My special needs daughter and I traveled to the country of Chile for medical reasons. Upon arrival we realized our medical staff had booked us for the hotel next door, however after realizing how warm and friendly everyone was, I decided to spend my time at the Marriott. The entire floor staff was amazing and acknowledged my daughter and I every time we entered the lobby. All of my daughters needs were met immediately and anything we needed was fulfilled by the staff. I want to say thank you for a wonderful experience. On my next visit to Chile I plan to stay at the Marriott Santiago. I have never had an experience quite like this one. Great location. Rooms are pretty much the same as any Marriot. Safe choice!

On a visit to the hotel I did not like the staff. Little respect.

Nothing to say about the Hotel, but I think in very bad taste that the parking to be paid part and the value for half an hour is $700. — not in accordance with this, well if the value is published and one knows it, no problem. The sinverguenzuera is capitalized when intentionally create a taco out of the parking lot, to increase the value of the ballots… simply a robbery with a capital, today 10/09/2015 take my car to the 14:50 hrs. To exit and the taco hard half-hour receipt I it gave an hour of departure 15:23. Wad the taxman it was human in the output.
my claim is not for the collection of time I occupy the parking is by formed wad intentionally to charge more, part of the time as one loses… and for more you finish off their ballots do not have phone of the company that provides this service. For call and put a complaint.

A great little detail in the restoran Cafe Med: the children's buffet is the perfect height for children!. The food is healthy and attractive for children. Congratulations on the children's buffet.
