This has been our favourite hostel in over 6 months of travel, if we could give it more than 5 stars we would! The staff Edgardo and Richard are so friendly and helpful, we felt like we were being were being welcomed into the family, with local recommendations, empanadas and even a magical Asado with all the guests one evening! The hostel itself is beautiful, very clean and spacious with great communal and outdoor spaces to relax in (and a lovely friendly cat! ). Sandra as well also helped us by arranging a beautiful stargazing tour with a local astronomy professor, and a day-tour exploring the amazing surroundings and local history (with Pisco, empanadas and wonderful views! ).

I had the most wonderful time staying at this beautiful hostel. Edgardo is an incredibly friendly and attentive host. Richard is a wonderful human being — extremely knowledgeable about all things in Vicuña, helpful and most of all, fun to hang out with!
The beds were super comfy and I slept well. There are various places to hang out and the kitchen is well equipped with lots of space in the fridges for storage. There are toilets and hot showers aplenty.
I absolutely loved the grapes from the garden and the neighbour's cat who spends most of her time in the hostel is super friendly :) The hostel is super close to everything — you can't ask for more.
Truly a gem in Vicuña.
