The place is beautiful and you do not need to leave Casa BaGua to enjoy.
The attention and cordiality of Caro, his mom and Fabian is of a high standard.

Arturo who performs the astronomical tour, has a way of explaining and teaching that envelops you and transports you to a high-level experience.

The only point against, which I separate from the experience itself, is the unprofessional and educated attention of some of the students in practice, far from a cordial and professional treatment.

I loved the design of the rooms and family cabin. Breakfasts with bean coffee and avocado with sourd dough. The details of the hosts, the hot tub under the stars of Elqui. I loved the energy of those who live and work in Casa Bagua! Totally recommended.

Casa Bagua is an excellent place to spend your holidays in the Elquí Valley. It has two types of accommodation for its clients: cabins and Camping. It has a swimming pool and astronomical tourist observatory (they have a MEADE 16 inch telescope opening and a focal relation F10. Equal to that of the Mamalluca Observatory).
As for meals, the most remarkable thing about their work is that they are prepared with ingredients planted by them. Breakfasts, lunches and elevens are served in earthenware pots (except cups and service). Everything is prepared as naturally as possible.
This campsite hosted the "Elquino Astronomy Camp" on three occasions for its suitability for the event.
The place is taken care of by its own owners (very sympathetic).
In short a great place to spend the holidays.

Me and my daughter planned a kid friendly scape. I also wanted her to get to know idilic Elqui Valley. The experience was amazing. We were received as family by Fabian and Carolina, they opened their house to us and offered us the best you can get “1 kilometer” around. Heathy and hearthy local products, clean room, awesome lodging, outstanding guide to best local resources, and sincere friendship. Be ready to enjoy this and more, but bring your own transportation though. It makes sense.

The place is beautiful, very good attention its owners are very attentive and concerned with excellent disposition, it is perfect for families, my kids are delighted, and the breakfasts are very rich and abundant. The jar is perfect and as data has an observatory.

Excellent in every way. From the hosts, Fabian and Carolina, until the facilities. With a look that's rustic and construction precarious (but rather alternative and ecological), the level is like that of a luxury hotel. Do not miss the breakfast, and take advantage of the tips from the hosts. The location is very good because it is quiet, almost no cars, and it is near the river, with direct exit to the road. I recommend it 100%, surely I will return!
