The stay is a mix of good and bad points. Good: The staff allowed an early check-in around 2pm which was okay, would've been good to be when I arrived but that's fine. Location was good as I wanted to be near the city center more. I was surprised to be asked of my floor preference, got a high room with a good view. The bed was nice. Bad: The room lacks a few things such as a mini ref and at least an electric water heater. I would probably expect that if I booked ibis Budget but this isn't. The liquid soap/body wash was fixed near the lavatory — how would you use it when you shower? The bathroom was barely cleaned, several hair strands were in the shower enclosure, the floor, the lavatory — and these are women's hair, very long and definitely not mine. I ordered food at the restaurant which surprised me was ready in less than 10minutes — as I guessed it was a pre-cooked meal and was likely heated on a microwave.

Ot's a practical hotel to stop by the night and continue your travel next day. The room is just all you need, all very clean. The restaurant is flawless but closes early, nice parking and an excelent buffet style breakfast.

It was a very bad experience. First, my last name was not in the booked passengers list of the hotel at the time of my check in, it was written in a wrong way and it took us several minutes to figure out what was going on. Second, the Wi-Fi connection never worked up at my room even with the assistance of one of the front desk persons. I had to use my 4G out of my cell phone to connect. Third, the card key to get into my room never worked either, every time to get into my room I had to go with a front desk person to open the door. Finally, there was a missundertanding with my hotel reservation that was managed by the institution that invited me to Copiapó, it was for only a single night, I understood that were two nights. When I realized the mistake I went to the front desk (2 hours after the check out), I explained the situation to the front desk man at that moment, asking him to consider all problems that I had at the hotel and avoid to pay an extra night, and he just said no, and I had to pay an half extra day.
