Hostal El Anexo Hotel

Muy cómoda la habitación y los baños compartidos. La cocina está muy limpia y bien mantenida. Es relativamente cerca del centro. El problema es que no siempre hay gente en recepción y a veces uno necesita algo y cuesta ubicarlos.

I stayed there with a friend of mine a few days ago and my phone was stolen inside my room. I had put my phone to charge in the plug next to the door as the lady there told me to and when I woke up in the morning it was not there. We had to leave very early to go to a tour and there was no one at the reception so I left a written message. No one came back to me, so I sent an email and Mariela replied to me saying literally "You were drinking alcohol and invited a person to the hostel so this person must have taken your cell phone". The only alcohol I drank was the glass of wine they gave me when I arrived there; and that was only my friend and me the whole time. I am very angry with their reply as not only I lost my phone but they accused me wrongly and lied — presumably to cover that someone from the staff took it. Avoid this hostel by all means!
