In addition to one of the world's best kitchens, it's more about very friendly staff, the best trained Guides, as well as a incredibly nice host family. I'm glad to have a place where you really can switch off and come back always gladly again!

My wife Kim and I were the first guests to arrive at Dalton Trail Lodge this season (2019). We booked the trip at the very last minute because a forest fire threatened the lodge we had originally booked and we could not get into the camp. It is hard to imagine that the original trip would have been better that our experience at Dalton Trail Lodge. The fishing, accommodations, food and guides were all top notch. Hardy, Jackie and family are friendly and welcoming hosts. Kim and I were very pleased with the trip and intend to return. The scenery is breathtaking around virtually all of the lakes we fished. And after a long day of fishing, we returned to a beautiful room with private bathrooms and a hot shower. Then we would have a cocktail at the bar and sit down to excellent meals every evening. Getting to some of the fishing spots may involve ATVs but others are just off bush roads and easy to get to. You have a choice of guided or unguided fishing. Either way, you will be pleased. We caught and released quality lake trout, rainbow trout, grayling and northern pike. They also offer fishing for dolly varden and inconnu at the right time during the summer. Kim and I exclusively fly fish but all types of fishing are available and welcomed. Bruce Rueben.

This my 10th year at the lodge that says it all, great people, not to mention all you can do. Fish, explore, great food accommodations its all hear and the price is right if you check other lodges you'll see what I mean.

Great location, and space for privacy but everything on the lodge is a short walk away. Most amazing group of staff I have ever dealt with. Very intimate and excellent meals and activities with caring and attentive staff.

Guided there for Years, Owners are awesome, fishing is world class, food is 10 star, atmosphere is wonderful and the fish stories are epic.

This is the best fishing lodge I've ever been to. I've gone back 8 years in a row. There is more variety and beauty than I can describe. The people are great, the food is like being on a cruise, and the fishing is world class. For those of you who want a great place to experience for everyone, even those non-fishermen, give this place a try. You will not find a better deal cost wise than DTL.
