Staff was friendly.
Hotel loud. Could hear people in rooms and music from lounge thumping until 2 a. M. No a/c or microwave. Charged hotel guests for coffee in lobby. High price for what you're getting. Would look for other higher rated place to stay if better opportunity in town.

We stayed here while traveling the ALCAN Hwy. The staff were very friendly. The restaurant inside served a wide variety of food and our meal was awesome. We even ordered breakfast to go the next morning and it was delicious. Our room was great and we had a good nights sleep. We will stay here again.

I stayed at Andreas Hotel last night and had such a lovely experience! This is actually my first time writing a review because I was genuinely impressed by the amazing customer service, delicious food, and beautiful Yukon views along the way. A special shoutout to Neet at the front desk she was so sweet, welcoming, and always smiling. I kept asking her for ice buckets again and again 😂, but she was incredibly quick and happy to help every time. Her customer service truly made our stay even better. I’m delighted I chose Andreas Hotel and will definitely be coming back. Would love to be hosted here again! ❤️

I've recently returned home after staying in 11 different hotels throughout BC and one in Watson Lake, Yukon. By far, Andrea's was the worst out of them all. The room was in need of a good rennovation, heating was a space heater inside the room and also one in hallway, the sink counter was old and wooden — looked like something left over from the 1950s — the list goes on. The food in the restaurant (attached to the hotel) was OK until I looked over at the window sill and saw a few dozen dead flies about 6 inches from my food. Better off to stay at one of the other hotels/motels in Watson Lake — from what I was told by locals, they're far nicer and cleaner than Andrea's — and they might be cheaper! I can't believe I paid $185 for one night in this dump. A friend who goes to Watson Lake stays at A Nicer Motel and he said it's really good. Also, someone I ran into in Watson Lake told me the Air Force Lodge was great. I should have done more research before I booked Andrea's: never again will I stay there.

We ate at the restaurant. The service was excellent (very attentive). The food was very good — Swiss burger/fries & salmon/rice. Price was fair. Not a lot of options at Watson Lake but this is certainly a very one!

First place I’ve stayed at in Canada that has been welcoming. Was super easy to reserve via phone call, and we showed up around 9:30pm after 14 hours of driving. Quick & easy check in process. We asked if the pub was still open for food. She asked the kitchen for us & when they said no, she went and grabbed a bunch of sandwiches for us! She then showed us the microwave that is open to all in the lobby area & she went and got us forks from the kitchen area to use. Room was clean & blankets smelled nice. I don’t even leave reviews, but I was so touched by her efforts and kindness, I had to!

Had a really nice stay at Andreas Hotel. The food was excellent and definitely one of the highlights of the trip. I also liked that they have a small grocery store on-site. In a town with limited shopping options, it comes in very handy.
A special shoutout to Neet at the front desk. She was very kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Great customer service can make all the difference, and she did a wonderful job. I even left a positive note about her in the room review.
I also thought the guest room review cards were a great idea. It’s a smart way to get feedback, and I might even use something similar for my own Airbnb.
The renovations and fresh paint have really improved the place, it looks much better than it used to. Overall, we had a great stay and would be happy to come back.

I did not stay here, however, I did enjoy breakfast as soon as they opened. Wow! Delicious! The waitress was outstanding. Very friendly, attentive, and quick to refill drinks and warm up your coffee. I think I fell in love with her? The hash browns were cooked perfectly, the scrambled eggs were not dry and burnt like some people make them, they were great! The bacon was thick and flavorful. They coffee was fresh, hot, and great tasting. Seriously did not have a single issue! I did overhear a conversation about a problem they were having from the night before and discovered in the morning, but I'll keep that a secret 🤫. Anyone looking for a good homestyled breakfast, make sure you eat here!

Customer service was good. Limited parking, be prepared to park your vehicles away from the hotel, especially in winter or if you have bigger rigs or RV's. Upstairs rooms are not carpeted so downstairs rooms hear more than they should. I have used the restaurant out of convenience but the kitchen needs more cooking skills. No excuse for cold toast or deep fried hash browns.

There aren’t many hotel to select from in this town. We looked at the reviews and pictures and figured we’d give it a try. We checked in was given our key and that was it. No mention of when check out is or if breakfast was included. We found of it wasn’t included.
When we got to the room, the hallway smelt very strong like they are covering up a smell. The room itself seems outdated and they don’t have tons of room in the room. Don’t open the curtains because you’ll be seeing a car or people out your window.
They wash the sheets in very strong laundry soap so if you’re sensitive to smells don’t book this hotel.
The mattresses were horrible — very springy and squeaky, everytime you’d move an inch it would be loud and Bouncy.
Bathroom is an okay size.
Again not many choices for hotels but I probably won’t be back to this hotel if I can help it.

The overnight in Watson Lake was unexpected due to poor weather conditions on the Alaska Highway. A lot of the reviews here are pretty mean spirited. Not sure what folks are expecting. Although I am staying in winter which might be a bit cheaper … but $162 and change with tax in is not Hyatt prices people. My room is clean and has everything I need; a space heater, a fan, a fridge, a desk with a light, a bathtub with a wonderful tilt recline that made the bubble bath heavenly. The staff were all extremely lovely and helpful. Yes. There are folks or guests who go to the bar (probably only one in this town of less than 800 people) that might kick up a ruckus on a weekend. Had to deal with one myself. The building was apparently constructed in 1948 therefore the property is rich in nostalgia, stories and maybe even a ghost or two. I actually received a physical key rather than a programmed key card for my room… can't recall last time that happened. Ps I had about the best crab and corn soup at their restaurant. (Bonus tip: best egg salad sandwiches ever are at the local grocery).

We stayed here while passing through the city it's possible to spend the night, but there are some important issues to be prepared for.
The room is extremely hot and dry. They use standard heaters, which dry out the air considerably. There's no fresh air supply, and in winter, opening the windows is impossible due to the freezing temperatures. As a result, you wake up in the morning feeling "square-headed. "
Another drawback is the odorization. They use incense sticks or strong scents in the room, which permeates clothes and other belongings with the odor. This was extremely unpleasant for us.
It's possible to spend one night, but it's not a comfortable place to stay.

The rooms were really good, though the pet-friendly rooms could use a bit more, maybe a small pet couch. I honestly don’t agree with the negative comments; this hotel is amazing for the city. The staff was wonderful. Neet at the front desk and the Indian server at the restaurant were both very sweet and knowledgeable. Great service overall!

First off I just want to so WOW. The staff is just amazing and very helpful. Neet was our front desk person when we checked in. Just the sweetest. We did stay with our 3 dogs in a very pet friendly room. The hotel was very clean with lots of goodies for purchase including ice cream bars, candy bars, chips, noodle bowls, and a very delicious restaurant on sight. And the food is amazing. Now let talk water and pressure. I tell you. I got in that shower and turned it to the massage setting and OMG it imitating so good. Felt nice with lots of pressure. And since we was driving through from Alabama USA be home to Anchorage AK USA it was definitely needed. The staff is very patient as well.
I have nothing bad to say about this remarkable establishment and Highly recommend this hotel located right in the heart of Watson Lake.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. It was a much needed stop after many hours of driving. The room was a little older, but clean and had everything we needed. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The food in the restaurant was Amazing! They even have a convenience store and laundry on site.

I recently visited Andreas and was really impressed! The staff was super sweet and, more importantly to me, very professionally dressed — which I think really reflects the company’s standards. The girl at the front (I think her name was Neet) was dressed so well and carried herself so professionally. And the food at the restaurant… omg, it was so good! Definitely a great experience overall.
(I think the rooms need to be updated with a new paint)

We called Andreas Hotel to book a room while travelling, and the receptionist, Parneet, was incredibly sweet and patient with us, even though the network wasn’t great but she took the time to understand our situation and helped us without any frustration. She really understood our situation and made the experience so pleasant, definitely deserves recognition! We haven’t arrived at the hotel yet, but she deserves a special mention for her kindness, professionalism, and politeness. Truly a wonderful experience even before reaching the hotel!

I've seen a lot of negative reviews, and based on my recent stay, I have no idea why. The staff were incredibly friendly. Granted, the room itself had an interesting choice for painted pattern, but didn't affect my stay in any negative way (was a neat change from a standard blank white wall, honestly). The attached restaurant's food was actually really good (breakfast in particular), and they also have a little general store. I did not encounter any drunk people and wasn't hassled by any locals, so the few reviews mentioning that may have been isolated incidents. Quite close to the Signpost Forest too, if that is something you wanted to see or contribute to. Honestly? I had a great stay.

Room is decent. It does not have its own microwave but at least a fridge and you can always reheat your food outside. One thing I immediately noticed was the smell. The whole hallway and the room itself smelled very funky, like an old room. The wall was weirdly painted. TV was okay. I could watch my netflix, which was good. They don't just do cable TV like any other motels I been to. I got 2 queen beds and seemed like they did not have any 1 king bed at all. All of their room was just 2 queen beds, which was fine for me. Room was warm enough too, no need extra heater on top of it.
Service… OUTSTANDING! The front desk guy, I forgot to ask his name, was super friendly. He explained to me about what I am going to expect on the road, the beauty of Yukon from Watson Lake all the way to Whitehorse. He told me to visit a Tombstone park but after checking the distance, I would not be able to make it in time since I will have to change direction for that to happen.
He was super friendly. He helped me get settled, I asked him if they carry wine and he opened their storage room for me to pick which wine i'd love to buy. They had an issue in payment that it did not show up bought in the system but it showed up bought in my phone. They were fine with it and told me not to worry. He told me the story of Fairbank's popular film called "Into the Wild". I ended up not watching it but I read the whole detail of the story.

We stayed in a pet friendly room. Beds were comfortable enough, linens were polyester comforters from the 80's. I'm guessing it's because it was a pet room. The heater didn't work but there was a very high tech plug-in heater provided (see photos). Pretty big leak coming from the fridge, but nothing the low quality towels couldn't handle. Pet fees applied after the room rate, and it's per pet. It was about $200 all in, and definitely the crappiest room I've agreed to pay $200 to sleep in. However, since they seem to own all 4 hotels, it probably won't help to complain and threaten to move to one of the others. However, you take what you get when you travel with pets. 🤷‍♀️
