Loved my time there at the resort. Very kind and accommodating staff. Spa and restaurant had great atmosphere and service! Can not wait to go back! Just to note, we stayed in the Cielo Penthouse which was pricey but well worth it if you are celebrating a special occasion! View is amazing!

This was by far one of best displays of customer service I have ever experienced. The staff was unbelievable! Amazing views, great food and affordable.

Walked around Spectacle Lake and around the property before checking in, great staycation and great food/drinks at restaurant Alpina.

We just had a wonderful stay at Villa Eyrie and absolutely loved it. The room was very spacious with a fireplace, large high end washroom with the biggest tub, and the views are spectacular. The food in their restaurant was so yummy and we will definitely be back. I highly recommend it to locals wanting a quick getaway… only 30 minutes from Victoria and it's a perfect retreat. Highly recommend it!

My wife and I just enjoyed a Fabulous anniversary dinner here. Had the Caprese salad, mushroom ravioli, salmon and steak. Oh and the best view on the island I’ve seen!

Excellent family birthday breakfast this morning for Bailey, our great nephew, grandson & awesome young man! The eggs benedict & authentic belgium waffle with pearl sugar were awesome! We also loved the Metz organic teas. Many thanks to the chefs & their staff. Also our server was excellent, ensuring we had everything we needed to make a perfect meal. She even took our after breakfast photos with those amazing mountaintop views in the backdrop.

We've just spent 2 nights here and have loved every moment. Absolutely stunning views, somehow scored free room upgrades, tranquil spa and delicious meals. I highly recommend this little piece of heaven just outside town. We needed a quick getaway and this was it. The gardens are wonderful too with lovely water features. The staff are wonderful, kind and caring. They work very hard to keep you feeling pampered and well taken care of. A romantic spot to relax and unwind.

We stayed here for our honeymoon. The views are spectacular however they were not good at keeping common areas clean. There were cob webs everywhere in our room. The pool is indoors and was so warm we couldn't breathe in the room. The bed was overly firm, and I like a firm mattress. We did enjoy the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast, kind wait staff and delicious food. We really preferred our cheap hotel in downtown victoria, unfortunately. Beautiful location, but could improve!

Beautiful! Exceptional service from start to finish. The staff made us feel welcome and special… with a bottle of champagne waiting in our room to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday. Our room was clean, bright and modern, with a wonderful view. Would highly recommend this hotel as an alternative to downtown Victoria hotels, not a long drive from most of the tourist destinations in the area.

Went to the restaurant for brunch with family. The resort is so gorgeous. Food was delicious and the view was awsome. The servers were patient and helpful. Gift shop also had lots of neat stuff. Resort had a swimming pool and many levels of decks for sunbathing and taking in the view of the mountains and ocean. The calendar had lots of activities for guests and a spa with lots to offer.

My wife and I stayed here for our 4th wedding anniversary and we are thrilled to have chosen this spot. The views from the communal deck (where we spent most of our time) and restaurant is hard to beat. It was neat to have this prospective over the Saanich Inlet. The restaurant was a top notch fine dining experience with our waiter Kurt being an attentive and knowledgeable staff member! They have a very nice salt water pool that opens 6 am for all you early bird that like a morning swim.

Villa Eyrie has gorgeous scenery with relaxing and serene surroundings. Maybe it’s a bit outside from the downtown Victoria and Butchart Garden, but it’s worth it. The rooms have beautiful views. We had breakfasts and dinners at the Summit Restaurant. Compliments to the chefs, the food were impressively delicious and the desserts were divine. It was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience!

Had an incredible time at Hotel Eyrie. Can’t think of a single improvement. Our room was amazing and the view was just as nice as advertised, photos don’t do it justice. Hotel and dining staff were very friendly. I accidentally left my vehicle door open in the parking lot and the front desk attendant went out of her way to ensure I was notified. We had dinner at the Drivers Lounge and were blown away with the value. Excellent food and good portion sizes. Included in our stay was a complimentary breakfast at the restaurant which far surpassed any continental breakfast Ive had before.

Large modern airy rooms. Jacuzzi was so huge. We both comfortably fit into it with lots of room to spare. Easily the biggest I've seen in a hotel room. Fantastic friendly service. Views are amazing. Restaurant had great service and wonderful food. Spa was great, spa staff gentle and knowledgeable about services and products. We had a wonderful evening, and plan to go back. We were thinking fall/ winter, when all the nearby mountains and hills are covered by snow! Can't wait!

Amazing amazing amazing place. Must come back. Everything is superb and perfect. Excellent service, amazing food, elegant and week though of, and actually very tasty. Exceptional service, decor, massive rooms with wrap around balconies, with stupendous views, peaceful and serene area. Just stunning! I would highly recommend this place. And the theme is all about race cars. Just loved everything about this place! And not to forget, indoor salt water pool!

Checked in for a nights stay along with dinner reservations. The food was amazing! Chef killed it. Great presentation, portions, and awesome local, seasonal sourcing. One of the best views of the island from our table, which also added to the experience. Our room was fantastic as well. The Villa Cielo was gorgeous, had a real "home" feeling to it. Can't say enough good things about the experience. Highly recommend to any locals wanting to feel like they are out of town, but only being 30 minutes up island!

The perfect oasis. This describes my overall experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by any amazing staff. The rooms, which I found out were recently updated, are amazing, the views are heavenly, and the food was delicious. And, the best night's sleep in an amazing bed. This is the first time I have written a review because it deserves the praise.

My husband & I just had a wonderful Valentine's Day getaway for two nights at Villa Eyrie. Our suite was fabulous, with a breathtaking view. We ate at the Summit restaurant four times, and every meal was exceptional! We had a couples massage at the Tuscan Spa and it was amazing. We also enjoyed the mineral pool very much. Everything was incredible. And the staff were fantastic, friendly, and very accomodating. One lovely person at the front desk, Samantha, did something so sweet for us, that I will never forget: We asked for a couple of extra blankets that we could use while we sat out on our deck. My husband joked that he would also like some milk & cookies and a teddy bear with that too. We all laughed and Samantha said that the blankets would be delivered to our suite in a few minutes. Imagine our laughter when she came to our suite shortly afterward, with a plate of cookies & two glasses of milk, and our blankets! (she said she couldn't bring a teddy bear though… LOL! ) That was such a sweet, hilarious thing for her to do… we loved it! Thank you Samantha… and thank you Villa Eyrie for such a wonderful, relaxing, fun getaway. We look forward to visiting again in the future!

Amazing stay! The view is absolutely stunning! The food was outstanding! There were many additional personal touches added that made our stay so memorable. The updates done to the beautiful! It was so relaxing and tranquil! I can’t wait to go back. All the staff were so kind and courteous! I can’t say enough good things!

Amazing food and our server (guy from Tofino) Super sorry I didn't get your name… you were on point… Wine pairings for the salmon and short ribs were stellar. Although winter I can tell that the grounds have been thoughtfully laid out. It snowed while I was there which was glorious. Our room was LOVELY, only minus… room needed dimmer switches. Definitely a place I'd go back to!

We stayed in February for one night. We did a wine tour, came back for happy hour. We booked the suite with the bathtub in the middle — it was amazing. Service was fantastic in the restaurant and beef was amazing (it was the Dine Out Menu). Definitely a place to come to if you are looking for a relaxing or romantic time!

Great place to escape to for vacation! Just watch out if you order family style for dinner, it's 60 per person, not per order, I wish the menu specified that. But the food was great, the stay was aesthetic and pleasurable. I loved the mineral pool and views in particular. I'll be back here for sure.

First thing, take a dip in the mineral pool. Very relaxing after a long day travelling. The room we have is the Master Suite, it does not disappoint. Large patio deck, three tiered room, large comfortable king sized bed, picturesque views, and serene atmosphere. I could hear a pin drop in our room. Love it here.

Absolutely LOVE the Villa Eyrie. I have gone tot he Eyrie on dates with my now husband on a few occasions. We had dinner, overnight stay and the breakfast in the morning and every time experienced only the best customer service, food, accomodations and views. We also visited the spa and had some treatments done and experienced above-par services. We have also enjoyed coming just for the Lounge. Every time has been wonderful. When we got engaged, it.

The staff are amazing. I’ve never had better service anywhere.
The rooms are so clean and the entire place is very nice. We stayed in the superior suite and it felt like renting a condo. The gas fireplace was a nice touch.
The mineral pool is warm and the pool area is kept very tropical so it was nice to swim in there when it was cold outside. No hot tub yet.
You get robes and slippers in your room.
We ate at the summit restaurant 4 times. I thought the food was very good!
4 minute drive down to spectacle lake for a nice walk.
The only complaint I have is that I think they have too much chlorine in the hotel water. I could smell/taste it in our water glasses at the restaurant and in the shower/bath.

The villa is absolutely gorgeous. Even the most basic of rooms is sure to please anyone that stays overnight. I have no complaints about the food or drinks either. The staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating. I will be returning.

We went to the summit restaurant for breakfast. The views are very nice, the service is impeccable, and the food is wonderful. I had the waffles with the chocolate hazelnut sauce and a week later, I'm still dreaming about going back and having more. Perfect amount of food. The servers were great, making sure we had everything we could want — even making something for me that wasn't on the menu! I'll definitely be going back. Great value for the money as well.

This is the type of place you think of when your sitting at your desk on a wed and imagining being somewhere else. Well I got to make that a reality. It was everything I envisioned and more. We stayed in the penthouse suite and it was stunning. The view explains itself, but the elegance and detail that I got to see in the suite was top notch. We enjoyed dinner at the summit restaurant, after looking at the menu it didn't seem like my type of food, but after eating, it did become my type of food:) thank you so much for such a wonderful experience!

The location is extraordinarily beautiful. Food was excellent and served in a classy but non — pretentious way. Very happy. Will certainly be back.

Amazing room views (superior suite) and location is unbelievable! Had dinner at the Restaurant and the service and food were world class. Would like screens on windows to get fresh air. Can't wait to come back and stay at the penthouse suite.

Staff is very good, rooms are nice. I know they had to make do with an existing layout since this was an existing resort form before. Nice touches to restore what was there before. REALLY wished they can do something about that swimming pool. It felt like I was on the Titanic. 100 degrees no AC in an enclosed room. If they built an outdoor pool on the terraced frontage they would be the resort of choice on the island for me. Ate at the Summit and felt that food did not reflect value on what we ordered. I suggest avoiding the crab spaghetti. Perhaps the other fare is much better. It was still a good stay though as the staff was great. I would likely not book another stay with them as there are other resorts that offer a slightly better experience for myself and wife. View is amazing though.

Had a wonderful evening. View was spectacular. Kurt was attentive professional… and was informative about the menu. We can't wait to spend another special event there. Would highly recommend it, great to have this so close to home.

It was a great way to spend a beautiful evening. The food was good and the staff attentive. The views ate stellar on their intimate balcony. It was s treat! If it fits your budget try to go, you won't be disappointed.

Decided to stop in for lunch late last year with out of town guests, one who is a well known Canadian celebrity, and when entering the restaurant, the manager looked us over and then the first thing he said was 'Dressing casual today, are we? '. We were so taken aback. No hello; no 'how are you? ' We weren't dressed any different than any of the other patrons that we already there… the difference was I guess you had to stay at the resort to be treated with any respect. It's too bad because it is a beautiful place. Won't go back. Too pretentious. And we've told everyone we know about our experience!

If I could give Villa Eyrie more than 5 stars I would. What a wonderful place to stay. The staff is so pleasant and professional. The views are amazing and their restaurant is top notch. I would love to stay here again.

What an amazing place to stay and thoroughly enjoy! We enjoyed jogging and walking in the nearby park, swimming in the salt water pool, a spa treatment, luscious meals, absolutely accommodating staff, stunning views, quiet surroundings, all within 45 minutes driving distance from Victoria. Visit Duncan too, if you like charming boutiques and shops!

Wonderful. There was a fault with the A/C in the room we booked when we arrived and we were immediately moved, not only to another room, but to a suite! It truly made our anniversary. Would recommend Villa Eyrie for the service, the food and the location. It was an absolutely lovely place to stay.

We went for our 25th anniversary a little quiet get away with just the two of us. We were not disappointed with our lunch the food and service was outstanding and the view spectacular. We real enjoyed the ambiance of the Summit Restaurant and highly recommend others to experience service excellence at the Villa Eyrie. We will be back to enjoy Spa, pool, a walk around the beautiful grounds and to spend a few nights.

We stayed to night with a groupon deal. Service was good. Room was very nice. Our only complaint is we think we stayed in the only room without any view. Beautiful vistas from the restaurants and many terraced decks. We had beautiful weather which allowed us views of the beautiful snow capped Olympic mountains.

Nice little hotel and spa in a beautiful location. We went for massages and the spa service was top notch. The complimentary tea and cake were a nice touch. Then we had brunch and it was just downright delicious. I would happily come here again.

This place is such a hidden gem. Amazing guest services and dining staff! The rooms are pretty luxurious as well… The food is amazing… Beautifully played with a mouth watering taste to match… The menu is great, changed weekly… And the prices are in the medium to higher range… But a villa of this class… You can spend this money and still not worry about it because it's worth it… Spend the extra money and order what you want… Not what you can afford… Because you deserve this…

We came here during our trip to BC and we stayed in the Deluxe View Room. The view was spectacular. My husband and I loved to watch the fog rolling through the hills. It seemed the view was constantly changing. We had breakfast and lunch in the restaurant and had excellent service. The staff went over and above to be sure our experience was very positive. I am looking forward to coming back again when we are back in BC. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for the exceptional.
