Beautiful place nice view and clean, food is good a little bit pricy! Service not very good and lady manager is not friendly she don’t know how to served food in a proper way no extra plates for charcuterie. But we like the place. Need to refresh the managers and staff for more extra customers service and friendly.

To say the past 2 weeks have been stressful is an understatement.
Yesterday after coming from the cancer clinic with not the greatest of news we decided to go to our favorite pub and just try to chill and have a burger. Our server approached our table and was a little to close for my husband's comfort level and he was quite abrupt and asked her to back up. When he left the table I explained to her that he just lost his Dad 2 days ago to covid and that I have cancer. She totally understood and from that point on was over the top respectible of our space.
When it came to paying our bill we were informed that the bill had been taken care of compliments of Brentwood Bay pub.
That act of kindness just sent me over the edge and I burst into uncontrollable tears it couldn't have come at a better time.
So a big shout out to Brentwood Bay pub your act of kindness made our day thank you.

Our recent stay here was beyond expectations! All the staff are friendly, helpful and added to the experience. Both the pub and restaurant have superb food and a wide selection of reasonable priced wines. The current COVID-19 protocols are implemented ensuring a relax and stress free stay. The most exceptional standard that we have experienced.

The decor is really nice and the building is well maintained and clean. Service was not the best, but I would still come back.

Brentwood Bay Resort has demonstrated they really care about their employees and that is outstanding. They heard my concerns about my Mom, who has immunocompromised health and helped to alleviate concerns regarding Corona virus. They are employers who aren't putting profits before health. I have also bought Groupons for their Marina, which offers excellent kayaking & SUP tours & rentals — highly recommend getting out on the waters with them.
The restaurant & pub, with fantastic views are fab places to grab a bite & drink, before or after a paddling adventure.

Delicious food great service excellent accommodations.

We had dinner in the Arbutus Room and it was extremely disappointing. The service was great but the food was awful. Had a beef belly dish which tasted mediocre and like reheated meat and the cod which was okay at best. What a disappointing experience considering the cost. Won’t be returning.

It is unfortunate that this resort is right beside the ferry where we often travel back and forth with our kids. Today at 4:20 we were told no kids in the restaurant past 4:00pm and turned away. I find this to be completely unacceptable for such a small town and a place where people often need to eat because the ferry does not have food. I will never return with adults or clearly with children that are 12 years old by the way.

Inattentive waitress to our request. We had 1/2 hr for a quick lunch due to appointments. Explained to waitress. Order took 25 mins to come out. We order a burger and flat breads. Slow slow service. L, and other tables after us were served. Stressed that we are late to our meeting. Flatbreads all came out various sizes and times. Mine and my husbands were quite small compared to past experience. Really upset that we had such a crappy service today, as pub is our go to place. First time We didn’t tip. Wasn’t warranted. Don’t order flat bread as they are trying to save money by skimping on the flour/ bread, and don’t tell them you need quick help!

I’ve been here multiple times and each time surpasses the last. The Front desk went above and beyond to accommodate my kids. Wonderful property. One of my top favorites.

The staff here are The best! The view is so lovely! The food is top notch! I came here to destress and relax and I accomplished that! I LOVED sitting on my balcony. I truly hope to come back! ❤❤

The restraunt is terrible. My halibut was over cooked and your $49 steak wasn't edible.

We had a wonderful stay at the Brentwood Bay Resort and Spa for our ‘baby moon’. The staff were incredibly helpful and personal — most notably Brittany from the Pub who put together a list of fun activities for us to experience in the area. Lana from the restaurant was also very personable and friendly and made breakfast cozy and relaxing. We indulged in two spa treatments which were top notch. As I am 32 weeks pregnant, Lorraine altered my treatment and made it most enjoyab…le. The spa facility was extremely clean and tranquil. The room and beds! Oh my goodness! Those sheets, blankets and pillows. I will be dreaming of them. And the room. Exactly as shown on your website! The jet tub and fireplace really added something extra as well! We are so incredibly happy with our stay at your resort. You should be very proud of your staff and facility. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Always one of our favorites… That was my review last visit. We have been here three times this season alone. This time we brought our son, daughter-in-law, and grandson. They guy at the marina proceeded to make us feel very unwelcome:. You can "try" to go in the pool, but it's really meant for adults… Mom's are getting $300 massages and people above are eating $80.00 meals… He went on to tell us that kids are not welcome and that the resort is considering going 19+ next year… Mission accomplished:. We will not be back — with or without our grandkids. If you don't want families, advertise it. People will move on.

My first visit here and I had a pedicure. Staff are efficient and very friendly. With a cup of tea and complimentary visit to the soaking pool this was a lovely relaxing afternoon.

The Brentwood bay spa is amazing, and so is the pool/hot tub. You're allowed to use the pool /hot tub before and after getting a treatment and nothing beat a massage + pool combo. It has a relaxed west coast feel, past like you're in Tofino. I'd give Brentwood bay spa 5 stars, but the pub/restaurant upstairs 3. The restaurant changes chefs and menus frequently, deleting favorites and adding bland boring items. They also don't allow kids in the pub so you are forced into fine dining with a different and much more expensive menu. Great place to come for a beer, the patio is really great, but leave kids at home, and eat before you come.

Had a great stay here again. The rooms are gorgeous and private. All have a nice view of the bay and easy access to the ferry. We were attending the Brentwood Bay Regatta in Millbay and just skipped across of the ferry. Gorgeous. Food in the restaurant and bar were good. Love to stay here again.

I loved staying here. The rooms are great. Fireplace, wonderful view, comfy bed, nice bathtub and nice shower. Friendly staff. The location is somewhat remote and is more of a place to relax and want to do sightseeing but only need to go to Victoria once or so. It's half an hour from Victoria by car. There's a nice little walking path to go for a walk, a cute breakfast place across the street which was unfortunately closed during our stay. You can rent kayaks and SUP nearby. The pool is great. My only disappointment with this place is that there is no espresso place nearby. I had a latte at the pub but it's from an automatic machine and I assume room service would be the same.

An enchanted little inlet on beautiful coast of Vancouver Island! Wonderful accommodations beautiful wood work details and high ceiling that provide dramatic floor to ceiling window views. Terrace in each unit, fireplace and jacuzzi tub. Wonderful wedding venue for intimate ceremony and celebration dining room & pub offer variety of contemporary dishes and heated patio views. Plan to stay as long as you can it’s simply bliss!

A great hotel. We had a great view from our room of the bay. The hotels has a spa. Would definitely go back here.

We have travelled out from Victoria to eat at the pub many times over the years and used to really enjoy our time there, but over the past couple of years the menu has changed, becoming more limited and the food only OK but last week we hit a new low and it wasn’t OK.
My Tandoori Butter Chicken arrived crispy black… inedible and even with a looking glass there was no curried sauce to be found! I actually laughed when it was served to me… how on earth it passed quality control I have no idea! Our server agreed it was more charcoaled than usual and agreed to serve me a replacement piece of chicken. Given the breast was all of about 1/4” thick (no kidding) I guessed this should take no more than 5 minutes. My replacement must have gone to the bottom of the line because it took almost 20 minutes, by which time my husband had finished his meal and I had finished my rice, nan bread and my patience!
Someone different to our server finally arrived with a replica piece of chicken sadly served on a little white side plate. My goodwill finally snapped at that point; I refused to accept the chicken and advised I had no intention of paying for my meal. However when we received our bill they had only deducted $6 for the chicken. This only added insult to injury and was an appalling way to make amends for a terrible meal.
So I guess it’s more fool us if we grace or recommend the Brentwood Resort and Spa again.

A terrific resort in Brentwood Bay near Butchart Gardens and Mill Bay ferry. The dining room offers a wonderful view of ocean & mtns. The Dining Room has a varied menu and the food and wait staff are always great. The pub has a good selection of Burgers etc. Always delicious. The Spa is very well run, clean and staff is wonderful. The pool and hot tub are at a Spa visitors disposal. I can’t say enough good things about this resort.

I’ll admit I’m still super salty about our experience, and I don’t typically write reviews. But seeing as how I have yet to hear back from anyone at all I’m just going to go ahead and leave this right here: (a snippet/copy of what I sent to them the Monday following our ‘Spa’ day) It was … at very best… sub-par. To start: When we arrived, we were told that the hot tub wasn’t working. This changed our entire day — we had planned my friend’s birthday celebration around being able to relax in the hot tub and enjoy some quiet spa time in between treatments. We arrived early with this intention, only to be disappointed. Apparently phone calls went out the day before, though (according to my call history) I never received one. I will admit that we would have cancelled all 6 treatments and selected a different activity for the day. This in itself is a manageable issue, the second issue however, is inexcusable. When my friend (who happened to be the birthday girl) put on her robe, she found a used bandaid in the pocket (and as an added luxury there was a wart treatment of some sort on the bandaid). Not only is that beyond disgusting, it made us all cringe to think that maybe your robes don’t actually get washed in between uses. Nonetheless we stayed for our visit, but mostly because we felt we had to. The good news is, the treatments themselves were fine. I will assure you that none of us will return to your spa, nor will we recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful tranquil spa, warm and inviting with. Beautiful views in the waiting room and the pedicure area. The pool area was invited and surrounded by an abundance of flowers and foliage with a wonderful view of the ocean. Would love to go again.

We had an amazing time here last weekend! Our room with king size bed was very clean and modern and the view from our patio was incredible. The hot tub and heated pool (82°) were a great way to unwind after a busy week. We can’t wait to come back next month!

Our family events have been held here for two years now ONLY because of the location. During a big family wedding, a family member over booked their stay by one night and management refused to waive the charge, even though a significant amount of business came to them from the wedding. Beware of a price difference in rooms based on how far your room is from the main entrance. We were charged two different rates on rooms right next to each other because "one had more of a view" (it didn't really). For restaurant service, initial coffee order took thirty minutes to arrive at the table and the food was nearly an hour. There were only about 8 tables seated. Next time we'll wander down to Seahorse for breakfast. Anyway, the rooms were clean and the area is lovely. Lots of wineries in the area and short hikes to explore. Kayaks and canoes can be rented for an afternoon paddle.

Three course dinner was great (even better with the Groupon to make it cheaper)! Nice atmosphere, not too crowded. Took a while to get seated, even with reservations but that was due to people taking too long to finish up and leave.

Love it here! Staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is GREAT (we have a animal friendly room) and it still has a king size bed, jacuzzi tub and patio with entrance to outdoor HEATED outdoor pool and hottub. Went to the pub last for dinner and the food was awesome! No complaints here! Will definitely be coming back in the future. Was a great choice for our 9 year anniversary get away.

We've gone to the Brentwood Pub an number of times and thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere, location food and the service. In good weeather, the patio here both for the pub and dining room is one of the best in the city with beautiful views of Brentwood Bay and the hills beyond. The dining room is very comfortable, a great place to spend an evening and enjoying a relaxing dinner. The dining room menu is more upscale and we both tried the Chef's 3 course tasting menu, and while we weren't blown away by the food, it was thoroughly enjoyable. The atmosphere was very relaxed, and the service is very good, well paced. Highly recommended!

I was very impressed with Brentwood Bay Resort. The furnishings were modern and very comfortable. We were surprised with sparkling cider on arrival and complementary cookies in our room. For dinner, we tried the tasting menu and had a terrific experience. I would recommend booking through the resort as they were able to offer us $40 less than the best deal.

We had a wonderful time at the Brentwood Bay Resort and Spa. The staff were very friendly at check-in providing us with complimentary cider and showing us to our room and giving us a tour. Our room was beautiful and clean with a gorgeous view of the bay. Dinner in the dining room was also delicious. Overall we had a fantastic stay.

Always a favourite for dinner. Discovered that the Lodge serves an awesome breakfast. Same great views. Practically undiscovered. One of the only uncrowded breakfast spots in the area. Very reasonably priced.

The leadership team at FriesenPress reserved a meeting room at Brentwood to conduct our annual planning activities for the company. While the resort is a bit of a drive to get to, the drive is stunning and when you arrive and see the water, the views and all of the natural wood of the resort, you will know the drive was worth it. The staff, from the Sales Manager to the Front Desk and Server were all top notch. So accommodating and helpful. We opted for lunch in the dining room which was delicious, as we enjoyed the views. The meeting room itself was well equipped with all the supplies we needed and washrooms close by. One wall was all windows looking out onto the pool and hot tub. What a wonderful place to spend a morning. We will be back!

Was NOT happy with the stay here. The room we got was dirty with dead bugs in the bathroom. Where floaty stuff in the tub when we filled it up. Then when I was taking a shower to wash off the tub water, the ceiling of the shower had A LOT of black mold. We were then given a new room with 60$ taken off our bill. When checking out the next day the bill was full price with no 60$ off for the disgusting room. Also extra charges for little things. Charged extra for tea and coffee in the room. I have stayed at cheaper places and had way better of a stay. Will NOT be returning and would NOT suggest this hotel!

This place is beautiful. The facilities were great for our business meetings and presentations. Will be back next year.

This was our first trip to the island and I can’t think of a better, more welcoming and peaceful place to stay and explore the island! It’s close to Victoria, the airport, and so easy to come and go. Five star service, food, everything was fabulous! Highly recommend!

Staying at the Brentwood Bay resort for a wedding and have loved every minute! Such a perfect setting in which to relax and unwind in order to truely enjoy the events of the weekend.

Had lunch at the pub. Service was good at first then got slow. Food was good but not as good as the last visit. Our server was great but clearly overloaded as the lunch crowd flowed in. Server gets a 8 out of 10 and the food a 7.

Fantastic service, excellent wine list and a great menu. Steak was amazing. Desserts were fantastic. Only downsides were charcuterie board was small, and tuna fish was overwhelmed by the accompanying (delicious) squid ink risotto. Would gladly go again. Beautiful decor and view.

Great atmosphere with a wonderful view. The pub is only for adults (no minors allowed) but the restaurant is family friendly and has the same menu. Great food!

Nice ambience in the place! Decent food, wasn't overly impressed though. The cooks could learn how to properly season. The chicken dish was quite bland. Drinks and service were fantastic though so well done.

We just got back from a 50th b-day girls weekend. I can't say enough great things about this resort. We had such a great time. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The location is ideal. We were so impressed with the whole Brentwood Bay area. It was so picturesque and you can walk to so many places. Easy and inexpensive cab ride from the airport. Would highly recommend.

Amazing views, helpful yet discreet staff, two great restaurants on-site along with kayak rentals and a spa. It is a small resort but it has everything you could want in a honeymoon. We loved our one-bedroom ocean corner suite complete with a hot tub on the porch!

Great room, pub and dining room. Can't walk anywhere from this location. You need a car and willingness to drive to explore.

Went kayaking for a couple hours and the gentleman who sent us off and welcomed us back made a subtle hint that it was happy hour so we went in and checked out what they had to offer. Enjoyed a nice view and some good eats.

Very nice location with many sights to see from just a 5 minutes walk. A little bit on the pricey side but you get what you pay for: the quality of service is unmatched. Guaranteed good stay.

I love going out! I appreciate good food, service, and atmosphere. This place has a nice atmosphere but that is where it ends. I have tried 5 times to like the Lodge. I have brought friends from out of town only to be disappointed and embarrassed … I DONT LIKE IT> The service is slow and unprofessional, the food is mediocre at best, and the overall experience sucks. I'm trying to support local… I think Ill go to the Bleue Coyote!

Went to Brentwood Bay Resort for our 10th anniversary. The property is amazing, very well maintained and inviting. The food was delicious and fresh. Waitress was amazing, service was great, never kept us waiting and gave us privacy at the same time. A true little gem of a property.

Room 109 allowed us to check in early glass of cider. Amazing view great staff.

I have eaten at their restaurant a couple of times and each time it was excellent. Their staff were also very professional and welcoming.

I visited the bar for a casual lunch and was impressed as the soup of the day was great. The server even mentioned a few things in the soup. The meals were great. Well presented!

We're locals and frequent the lodge about every other month. The location and view are second to none and the food is delicious. Top it off with a wonderful, friendly staff and you've got a winner. We'll always be back.

I took my team to the resort for a two day professional retreat. The facility is wonderful, our experience was not. We had staff members with food allergies and sensitivities. Nothing was labelled. One of my team members had a nut allergy. Nuts were put in everything (even though we had provided the allergy list of nuts). After an anaphylactic reaction, they were surprisingly unphased. They followed by serving lunch an hour later with the same nut dressing one of the deserts, does your kitchen not get the meaning of anaphylactic allergy? Your food is not good enough to die for! I had to ask what they were going to do about it and they said they were going to contact my team member and invite her back for a complimentary stay. Guess what. That never happened. An unacceptable and unbelievable experience. The disorganized team needs some polishing. I would have been back, but after their "offer" was not followed through with. There is no second chance.

Had a one night stay and am a local resident. What a wonderful place for that special night. A very accommodating staff which worked with us to accommodate a wonderful spa experience, hotel stay and dinner. This is a hotel that takes care in the little details. With bathrobes, slippers and even umbrellas in the room should you want to explore the area. The bed was very comfortable and a wonderful large jacuzzi with a view of the room and water added to the room. It is a great location for the Mill Bay ferry should you wish to explore up Vancouver Island. It is just off the main route going from the ferry terminal to downtown Victoria — only 20 minutes away. A very peaceful stay with wonderful water views. Would stay here again.

We stayed at Brentwood Bay Resort for our anniversary, in a one-bedroom suite. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room had a hot tub on the patio with an excellent view of the bay, and a relaxing jacuzzi in the room. The fireplace was warm an comforting, and gave the room a perfect charm. The one-bedroom suites are located on the side of the hotel, so it was exceptionally peaceful and quiet (I recommend spending the extra money). We had never been to the area, so did not know of any local restaurants. Therefore, we ate dinner and breakfast at the restaurant at the hotel. The food was excellent and reasonably priced, although the breakfast was a bit more expensive than we expected (it always is in Canada). Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Brentwood Bay, and we would recommend the hotel to any of our friends.

Wonderful spot to stay! Great central location on the Saanich Peninsula (just 20 minutes from the city of Victoria BC, and only 15 minutes to the airport and ferry to Vancouver). Cozy lodge feel. Rooms have balconies with view overlooking the Brentwood Bay harbor. Amenities: Fireplaces, in-room hot tubs, heated pool, and dining/pub on-site. Highly recommended for a romantic getaway on Vancouver Island.
