I quite like this quaint little place Rooms were very cozy and comfortable. We will definitely stay again.

Very spacious rooms with comfy atmosphere. Free make-your-own breakfast included. Location is next to the water with a nice view. Overall a good experience.

This morning, went to check out the continental breakfast room, the two morning staff saw me + didn’t bother saying “good morning” or even put on positive vibes. I had to say hi + they didn’t say hi back with sincere gesture. I’ve been many hotels + they put on the best customer service. Perhaps this is based on racism cuz I’m a visible minority.

Really comfy beds. Not much for parking. Breakfast was pretty good.

Definitely worth the stay. Good prices and dog friendly rooms. Should have a car or bike though to get to the city though.

We stayed in one of the penthouse suites. Beautiful view of the ocean, lighthouse, and Quadra island. Great hotel for a stay-cation. The continental breakfast was yummy lots of choices and everything was fresh! I would definitely stay here again!

Friendly staff, good location, continental breakfast with make your own omlette or eggs station, I stayed in a suite which felt like small apartment living. Limited outside parking but plenty of underground.

Clean. Staff are courteous. The breakfast was great. You cook your own eggs/omelette. Bagels were also good and they did not skimp on ingredients. Right across the beach but a bit noisy though since it is by the main road.

Pretty basic. The services was pretty poor. Had to go to the best western next door to open my bottle of wine. Crapy cable in the rooms. Front desk closes at 9. It's clean though. Probably won't stay again. Best Western next door is way better and better priced.

Great price. Very accommodating. We had top floor great view.

Clean, spacious, friendly, great rates, and a fantastic breakfast bar. Could use AC and better cable/Netflix but still awesome overall. Thanks for the great stay!

We stayed a week. The hotel has a beautiful atmosphere with embroidered hangings on the wall and homey decor in the rooms. No AC but a fan in the room to help stave off the heat. Beautiful view of the ocean from windows and balcony, we even spotted a whale (though at a distance). Room included a kitchen with cutlery and dishes. Hotel included a breakfast with a make your own omelet station. Friendly staff, easy location and parking included!

Nice hotel, right on the ocean with a beautiful view of Quadra Island. The room was not the cleanest, had to request new pillows because mine had course black hairs on it. Other than that, nice stay, very friendly staff.

Lovely little hotel with fantastic staff. We got the Loft room which was huge and had a beautiful view of the ocean (sunrise was amazing). The room has a bedroom and a double Murphy Bed, along with a full kitchen, dining area, living room and bathroom. It was reasonably priced and felt like home.

It's a boutique hotel with European styled rooms. Seaside view location overlooking Discovery Channel. Cheap rates even during peak summer season. Make your own breakfast — eggs included. I prefer the newer Comfort Suite and Inns downtown, but Herons Landing Hotel is a good back up.

Great view from the front of hotel. Shame rooms don't look out into the ocean. Secure underground parking was great.

Dated hotel, smelt old. Had ants in the room, I told the front desk and they said it's the time of year and they get ants no big deal. So if your okay with paying 100 bucks a night to sleep with ants then this is the hotel for you!

Beautiful place very much like home rather than a corporate hotel standard box.

I stayed at Herons Landing Hotel for 5 nights in June 2009. I found Herons Landing to be a beautifully decorated boutique hotel. It was clean and quite and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect being just across from the ocean in a lovely part of town and reasonably close to downtown. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
