Great place to stay. Rooms clean, nice check in staff. The lovely lady at breakfast is great. She will make you hot breakfast if you want, and she's is very nice to chat with.

Thoroughly unimpressed. My wife, kids, and I check-in and the bathtub drain in our room couldn’t seal.
Eventually moved to another room so kids could take bath before bed. TV doesn’t work in that room *sigh* At that point just wanted to get kids to bed so didn’t bother moving again. Oh, and our new room couldn’t lock. Dead bolt wouldn’t work.
Talked to manager in the morning. Best she could offer was $30 off the $170 bill. Lots of excuses ("we tried to fix your TV, you could have gone to another hotel, the locks are new, etc. ")
I expected more professionalism and a better discount.

This Prairie Moon makes breakfast fresh… real food is a game changer.

Very very basic hotel. Lady during breakfast hours is very nice and polite with all the guests.
They don’t allow gym / fitness center before 7 am and after 10pm, which is wired timing. As most of the guest would like to go to the gym early in the morning like 4-5 am and go to work at 7am.
At Front desk young lady (afternoon and evening time) was very very arrogant, rude and disrespectful to the guests. When I checked in to the hotel she was talking with anger without any reason. When I was checked out and asked simply for receipt she started being rude again without any reason.
It looks like they are taking advantage of guest, as this is only hotel in town.
Hotel management needs to think about their front desk staff.

In town for work for a few weeks and I have to say I’m pretty impressed.
I am actually working about 45 min out of town, but the next nearest town had only one option which looked… Not so great.
The Prairie Moon still feels brand new (my room looks unused, it’s either well kept or not commonly used), and while it is a bit basic, it’s nice, well kept and clean.
Staff were friendly and responsive, they even checked to see when I’d be looking to take breakfast so food was ready, which I really appreciate.
I would happily stay here again!

Great experience, room was neat, clean and tidy, well stocked.
Bathrooms could double up the towels or have full sized bath towels.
Breakfast was excellent, service was fast and friendly.
10/10 would recommend again.

Great hotel on the Prairies. Room was very clean and nicely equipped. Fantastic breakfast was included. Just a bit out walking distance to any other business in town.

Update: one year later, it is apparent that there has been a change in ownership/management. Still a good place to stay, but maintenance has slipped and the service is no longer above average.
After one night we were trying to find an excuse to stay longer! Next time we are in the area we will plan our trip around a stay at the Prairie Moon. The room (314), especially the bed, was excellent. The breakfast was superb. Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful — they were a delight. Well done!

What a fabulous breakfast! Real breakfast, 3 big fat sausages and potatoes. And super nice staff from check in to check out. It's a great stop over on a longer drive. Room was very clean! The prices and amenities ratio of most hotels are shocking these days, but the real hot breakfast sure went a long way in my cheap heart.

Very clean and comfortable. The bed was great, the freshly prepared hit breakfast was the best way to start my day. Service was very friendly from the moment I booked over the phone through my arrival and checkout. Would definitely recommend.

I enjoyed my stay at Prairie Moon Inn & Suites. The rooms were very nice and the king size bed was amazingly comfortable. All the basic amenities were provided in the room. The building decor was very nice. There was ample parking.
My only complaint was the included breakfast was served from 6 am to 9 am. I don’t know about you but when I am staying in a hotel I don’t necessarily want to wake up at 6 am just to get my free breakfast. A person might to sleep in on their day off for example.

Not a ton of amenities but comfortable and clean. Staff is awesome. Very nice for a small town. No restaurant but not much traffic so it would be hard to keep open anyway.
