Old but still comfortable. Free breakfast is decent.

We had excellent service from Gilles when we arrived at the hotel. Very welcoming and friendly. Quiet and clean place.

The second floor is not accessible for those with disabilities or young children/strollers and they have no baggage carts. I was alone with a toddler, cat ($25), and 4 luggage bags + a stroller and was given a room on the second floor. I had reluctant help from a staff member to carry a couple bags when I arrived, and zero help when I left (that’s 6 trips carrying luggage up and down the stairs with a toddler in my arms). And I paid for two rooms! When I went to bathe my daughter, there was stuff floating in the water (of what? I don’t know). The bathroom door didn’t close properly. The crib they provided was a playpen from the 80’s. I had to put a comforter from one of our beds in the bottom to make it at least a bit comfortable. The windows are not private at all. There are only two outlets in the room that are both over-used, so the outlets built into the lamps have barely any electricity running to them. Took about 5 hours just to charge my phone. The beds are small (doubles) and very hard. The breakfast was good *shrug*. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to families.

The room felt really much humidity! Towel to the drop account! Very very ordinary reception! I don't recommend it! I forgot the hard bed like a brick!

This weekend, rooms were very expensive. Overpriced for the auality of the hotel, bit we had no choice because it was for work and there was noting else available. Rooms are ok, not too big bit not small either. It's clean and everything. Staff is nice too. Breakfast is included, but dont expect anything out of ordinary.

Check in was slow. Mainly due to the fact that the receptionist was on the phone for 15 minutes. Rooms are what you expect from a comfort Inn. Breakfast used to be much better. And their breakfast hall is small. You may not find a seat to have breakfast. The hotel in this area used to be much better. It's a shame. This would be my time coming here.

Employees are hard-working and make sure you are comfortable. Very clean place during our stay. We often do several Comfort Inns during the year and it is among the cleanest. The formula with hot lunch is comforting in the early morning. The price you should pay in high season is $145 (taxes included) per couple. In low season 120 taxes included per couple. Have a nice stay.

Very clean and nice rooms, decent breakfast, there’s an old blonde woman with glasses (Caroline) who works at the front desk, she doesn’t even look at you or say hi when you enter… I thought this was the hospitality industry?!? She looks fed up to be there.

Nice room, quiet and safe. But, breakfast from 7 hr to 10 hr. Should go up to 11 hr for the lift later. Lolll.

Chicoutimi hotels could be expected to be offered at lower prices than Quebec's major cities, but this is not absolutely the case. The room costs $ 150 per night, breakfast included. I'm going to New York City at the end of July, in high season so, and I'll pay $ 142 USD on Long Island City, just across the Queensboro Bridge. Amazing! Warm reception. My room 123 was large, with desk, sofa, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Ultra-clean. Corridor seems to have a new rug. Smell of "clean", very pleasant throughout the building. Free parking obviously. Secure internet that works very well. Comfortable bed. The breakfast is "gorgeous": choice of coffee / hot chocolate, toast, scrambled eggs hot or boiled, sausages and hot potatoes, waffles, cold cereals or hot oatmeal, yogurt, fruits, … name it! The lunch room is large enough to accommodate everyone. An attendant takes care that all dishes are always available. Great service! The hotel is located on Main Street (Talbot Blvd. ), right in front of a MetroPlus supermarket, which offers a wide selection of microwaveable prepared meals. It's very "convenient" when you want to eat in peace, without waiting in a restaurant. However, several restaurants available nearby, including a Thai and Sushi Shop. The Québec-Saguenay road is truly magnificent, both for the panorama and the macadam. A 4-lane road, like the 20. This is where we realize that the 20 should be 6 lanes for at least 40 years!

Poop night. At the Incomfort Inn in Chicoutimi, the walls are cardboard. Not only do we hear the voices of the rooms next door and the corridor, but in addition we understand the whole discussion, the jokes, the laughter, the shower, when they cough, burp or fart at all hours of the night. We may have slept three hours in total. The hotel was almost empty and instead of leaving free rooms between us, they all put us close in adjoining rooms. To avoid…

Completely in line with the company's standards, it is a very decent place, clean, excellent value for money, no surprises. The staff was particularly nice. Also, this is the first time I saw this in a Comfort Inn, although I had not looked for it either, but they have an agreement with the Cardio energy of the sector and so it is possible to go training for free in a "real" full gym, all at least One kilometer from the hotel.

Worst experience and customer service. I booked 3 rooms in Confort Inn Chicoutimi on 8 of July 2017. To complete the reservation, I inserted my personal information and my valid credit card which were accepted without any problem. On the 26 July, the day of my stay in the Confort Inn, I arrived with my family at the hotel by 10.30 p. M. When I arrived, the employee, Michael, said that there was a problem and he told me that my rooms weren´t available. He said that my credit card didn´t work “was empty! ” and he tried to call me without success. Both are not true. We ask Michael to call us on that moment to verify if my cell phone was working and he refused. I have checked and my cell phone was available. Plus, I used the same credit card several times during that day to make different type of payments. Surprised with this situation, I gently asked Michael to find me a different hotel for that night where me and my family could stay. Plus, Michael said that all hotels in the surrounding areas were fully booked. He left me and my tired family without any type of help. During this situation, he said that he tried to call his management without success. Revolted with this unreal situation, I asked Michael about the complaint book. Michael refused to give me the complaint book. I left Confort Inn without a solution and I was forced to travel 500 km during night to come back home. It was the first time that something like this happened, the worst experience ever.

Comfort Inns​ are all the same. This one had clean rooms and a convenient location. For a quick business trip this place was just fine.

The comfort Inn is very clean. Simpathique employees. We had a wide choice for our lunch. The only downside is the bed that I found a bit too hard for my liking, but I would still recommend the place to anyone looking for a hotel in Chicoutimi.

Nothing spectacular but still a fine place to stay.

This hotel was ok, and by ok it smelled like stale cigarettes. The hotel is close to restaurants and other amenities. So you won't have to rely on the free breakfast to start your day. Like most things free the breakfast was pretty simple. Some juices and cereals. All in all 3/5 stars. Nothing special, but it gets the job done.

I love this hotel! The room is really nice, comfortable bed, clean and functional. The staff is very nice and breakfast is really delicious! Waffles are really good :)! The place is very well located and close to shops. We are really pleased and we come back that's for sure! :)
I change my comment, the black lady who work there is rude and not really nice. We were not yet out of our room and she banging at the door to our room, but when they told him later she look foolishly and is part, later she came back and we said quon was leaving in 5 minutes and she still look more foolishly and went. We are supposed to be able to leave when you want. And at lunch we ask of maple syrup and she said that there is not with one side who wanted all say… She n, is not very friendly and she doesn't say hello to anybody and does not smile anyway I have just that has negative to say.

The lobby was clean and beautiful. Breakfast TIMES. The pool was clean but the bathroom all had a funny smell. I liked where the hotel is located but not enough bar and Center purchase.

We go bed has this hotel Saturday March 12, 2016 and Sunday morning at exactly 7:45 we tick at the door of our room, surprised I ask who it is? Because we were sleeping she says is the maid, I ask that she wants and says getting household should come back later, it's a joke or what! Departure to lunch at this hotel so how is it nobody have bothered to check whether it was care at this time of the morning, I don't recommend this institutions to people,
