A mind-blowing weekend in Wendake.
It's beautiful. The balance between modernity and tradition is perfect. I restrained myself so as not to steal the dishes and the works!
All right. I ate wild boar, deer, bison in delicious gourmet meals. I particularly loved the squash moss with sage.
The staff is courteous (although very busy), the activities are well organized. I tripped over the myths and legends told in the longhouse by Joan.
I suggest you so much!

Perfect service, employees work extremely hard and are very welcoming. The hotel is beautiful and very clean, the activities are interesting and everything is an immersion in the Wendat culture, from the food to the hotel décor to the activities/museum. The restaurant La Traite is to roll on the ground, special mention to our waiter Stéphane for his awesome service! We will definitely be back.

It's always a fantastic experience to go to sleep there. The service is friendly and very nice. In addition, the place is beautiful. Exit the kitsch clichés of the native on his horse with an eagle twirling over his head. At the First Nations Museum Hotel we find ourselves in a place that blends the traditional and the contemporary in an exceptional way!

The La traite restaurant is really excellent, products of the soil!

The hotel offers very large comfortable rooms. Although the price is a bit expensive, the services are decent.
As a hotel guest you are entitled to a few discounts on your visits to the museum and the Spa.

My general feeling is: "Bof" Booking was difficult and the price obtained directly by phone was always more expensive than that of the usual booking sites. The room was beautiful and spacious, but there were already signs of aging, including heavy stains on the carpet. As for the restaurant, the menu is enticing and original. However, the reading of the menu is complicated and some dishes are not quite up to par: seasoning, cooking.
On the other hand, the staff were friendly and considerate both in the hotel and in the restaurant.

This is a place of relaxation and healing for the soul. Edit: I am back for a second time and this time got to try the food. It is astonishing. I decided on the quail, which was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. Half had some sort of hpuse rub, the other was classic. This dosh was wonderfully prepared and executed by professionals. I would reccomend eating here if you do not want a burger and fries kind of night. The 6 course meal is $175 CAD. Not cheap but worth the cost. They also have an a la plat meal. Which will cpmfortablu fill a person. It is traditional autochtonnes meals. This place has the feel of authenticity, without the need to slon your own animals, or apply your own poultices.

This was our second time staying at the Hotel. What a difference in comparison to our first experience. We were incredibly disappointed. Our room was near the spa where they build fires regularly through the day. We could barely breath as the smoke came into the room. I’m not sure if it’s because it is now a pet friendly space but our room smelt heavily of urine. It was especially strong at night. We asked to change rooms and were told they were completely booked. They couldn’t come up with a solution. They didn’t offer us any rebate either. In the morning we went for the brunch at the restaurant and we were told we couldn’t sit indoors because we had no reservation. We were never informed this was the procedure when we arrived and asked about the restaurant. Luckily it was comfortable weather to sit outdoors. Strangely enough the restaurant was three quarters empty… The brunch was very expensive. The prices didn’t match the menu in the lobby. When I booked the reservation 2 months before our trip we were told excitedly about the pool and spa services. We were not told they would be off limit to us due to a wedding. We repeatedly tried to get a massage and were rudely informed they were booked. The main lobby was dirty with trash (food, wrappers, and juice bottles / glasses of beverages etc…) all weekend. It wasn’t pleasant at all… We tried to get into the longhouse and were denied access there too… Unfortunately I wasn’t able to give my daughter the full experience.

Excellent service, superb cuisine, two little dots on the monitor, the degauss cards, room keys, we had to redo them at least once each day, the other point, the signal from the TV it cut off 3 seconds very frequently in room 213.

This hotel is great if you are staying in Quebec and the prices to stay downtown are too expensive. Its only about 20 minutes away by car from downtown. This hotel is in a very quiet area near a river and it is very peaceful. The rooms are very modern and the beds very comfortable. The restaurant they have downstairs is also very good. The portions are a little too small in my opinion but it's alright since its fancy. Overall, you will sleep very well. It also has a spa, a gym and a pool which you can use.

I went with my dog. Was suppose to cost only 15 but cost 57$ Got there we had to pay for spa and pay for museum. Check out is at 12 by 12:03 my card didn’t let me in room. Loud hallways. Garbage was left in hallways all day and all night. Smelled like bbq sauce all day. I literally booked this place for a cultural experience and ended up with just a regular room at 200$ don’t expect to see any culture.

Very beautiful place. I advise everyone to visit. All the windows in the hotel overlook the river. The kids are thrilled. A lot of interesting things, both in the hotel and outside. Indian village, you can take a tour. Kareche, masterpiece. Waterfalls, souvenir shops.

We participated in the myth and legends evening. That was very cool. I highly recommend.

These rooms are amazing and over look a beautiful river. You must stay here during your stay in Quebec. You will learn alot of history while having fun.

The staff is friendly and courteous. Meeting rooms and accommodation are spacious and nicely decorated with native art and decor. The menu has several traditional dishes that were absolutely delicious as well as expertly presented giving this unique dining experience top rating. The lobby welcomes guests with comfortable chairs and a glass enclosed fireplace with a spectacular view of the river and replica of a long house.

Excelente place to have a nice weekend. The food was delicious. The people was very friendly.

I had brunch there with my family. We all enjoyed the variety and the quality of food. Even my young children enjoyed tasting all the different foods. The staff was very friendly and we were served with a smile.

Awful. Bed was terrible, Murphy bed. Towels were rough and hard as a rock. Room smelt bad. Staff were unwelcoming. Worst hotel experience ever.

The rooms are beautiful, very spacious and very well soundproofed. The bedding is on top. The meal was excellent and the servers very friendly and professional. If you go through Wendake, especially stop, you will not regret it.

Aboriginal run hotel which is outstanding! Exceptionally clean EVERYWHERE, good size rooms with everything needed. Fair pricing, within a reservation that has lots to offer. We enjoy Quebec city, and now we have a place to return to on our next visit. Feels like home.

Hello has you, we went with a group of 12. Children, parents and grand parents, we all love the place a very nice restaurant, the cleanliness, the light, the atmosphere. But especially the Sunday brunch, all of your beautiful tables for the presentation of the exquisite choice of your meat flavor of wood the table of cheese hum (my favorite), your choice of eggs, all to satisfy children and adults, cafes exellent taste, however, or its been more difficult, the service, I would say b-minus, (at our table), and I speak for the other people in the family, we have come to the same conclusion. I don't want to be negative because we adore him, the bills were all just bordelique, there had to resume several times, examples of drinks that we had not even taken, we had requests several times before having the cafe napkins, glasses of water, the cutting plates difficilles. I finished with a positive note, I re commenderais is restaurant.

We found a long blond hair that was logically and visibly not one of ours in our morning brunch salmon at $40 per person and we were offered in exchange for a Nespresso coffee… Ridiculous in addition that the waitress herself has launched a big ARK! Seeing that said hair. When we spend so much effort to make a restaurant a reputable place we take as much care of blunders according to us. A 24 hours at $521 which finally ended bitterly. We didn't even have the courtesy to have the butler to explain himself. So we do not recommend.

I am really very happy to have chosen this place the restaurant treats it is delicious the nice service and brunch just a Wow word, but be careful the museum if you are with small it is very ordinary.

The reception very well, the exceptional modern décor clean and authentic, a very well thought out architecture, the spa is small not paying mine but in the end very good because quiet, not many customers and massage … Extraordinary. A negative point in soundproofing. We could hear children running either down the hallway or the upstairs room. I highly recommend this hotel.

As soon as we entered the hotel the Museum of the First Nations, we fell under the charm. This place is warm and has a seal that can't be found elsewhere. It was then decided, it was to this place that we were going to celebrate our marriage. We have conquered all our guests with our choice. Even if we stay only 30 minutes, for several it was their first time in Wendake, quebec. We have to travel a few steps from their house. The food is sought after, and especially succulent. This is the entry of smoked salmon, the traditional soup Wendake, the meal of deer or duck confit, the Sunday morning brunch, EVERYTHING is excellent! The place is warm, out of the ordinary with all of these possibilities. Our ceremony was upstairs since we had a wedding winter. The cocktail reception was held in the museum, much to the delight of our guests, and back in the room for the banquet and the evening. Everything was celebrated under the same roof. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and quiet with the view on the river. You can even take time for the spa or the swimming pool. There is so much of option on-the-spot. It is a beautiful place. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Catherine Doucet who was coordinating with us our marriage is so engaging and professional, we knew we were in good hands.

The hotel was very nice, all very careful to detail, ferret-style, the first settlers of Canada. The room was very large with two beds of 1, 50 and decorated with animal skins. All very clean. It has a restaurant and a ferret museum but we couldn't see it being closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. All right even if you pay for it.

Hotel in reserve ferret-wendake very well decorated combining modernity with culture of the Hurons. Good restaurant and good breakfast. Very good rooms especially those of floor 0 that have terrace and exit to the promenade of the river.

It combines the modern with the picturesque. The decor is very good, the atmosphere warm and very nice, and you breathe tranquility. Good breakfast buffet.

Stayed here one night while traveling. Bed was comfortable and clean. Staff was helpful based on my very limited interactions with them. Hotel US beautifully decorated with a native theme. One surprise was the real animal pelts made into cushions. I can imagine somebody being shocked and offended by this — — I was surprised, but not offended.

Absolutely amazing experience. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. They accidently gave away the room our friends had reserved and then were able to find another and offered a discount for the inconvenience. The Hotel design and decor made the experience. Outside the hotel is a great nature trail that goes along this amazing river. During our hike my youngest son notice baby ducks swimming while the mother duck was close by in the nest. Continued along the path and he noticed several fresh deer tracks in the mud. Bathroom was incredibly designed with river rocks for the flooring and great water pressure in the shower. We will definitely go back.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, answered any questions you had. The story telling at the long house, I would recommend it to anyone who is visiting. Would definitely stay there again.

Absolute fraud. They froze more than 300$ on my credit card for the reservation. When we checked out we paid with a different credit card and the 300$ were but released. Had to call 4 times and still the money is not released. We also booked the spa deal which only consists of two tiny tubs, totally not worth the money.
