Le Nouvel Hotel

I stayed here for my first ever solo trip and, in terms of location, very convenient. I was easily able to walk to almost all of the attractions I wanted to see and the metro system was close by as well. I will say that I found the staff to be accommodating and fairly nice. I ended up arriving early for my reservation, but I was able to get a room not long after showing up. When I first entered my hotel room, I did notice that the top hinge of the bathroom door was detached from the wall and the door was not closing all of the way (it looked like the screws they used were too short? ). I was able to tell someone at the front desk and they sent someone to fix it, which I was thankful for. The room itself wasn’t show stopping, but it was comfortable. On my first night, the fire alarm went off and I went to the lobby where most everyone else was. There was no fire and we were allowed to return to our rooms, but they couldn’t turn off the bell alarm, which went off for close to an hour. Other than that, I found it to be pretty quiet. I liked the breakfast they offered, though that was the only accommodation I really used, so I can’t really comment on the other ones. Breakfast does cost extra, however. It did feel slightly over priced for what I got, but overall, my experience wasn’t that bad.

My overall stay was pleasant. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable, which made for a relaxing experience. However, the first room I was given was quite noisy due to a neighboring family with kids who were screaming and making a lot of noise. I contacted the reception about the issue, and they handled it wonderfully. The staff were very understanding and quickly arranged for me to move to another room. The new room was much quieter, and I really appreciated the great service and professionalism from the front desk team. The hotel is really well situated in downtown if your here for a show or hockey game night at the Bell Center, or to enjoy Montreal pubs or night clubs. There's a pharmacy right up the street and a grocery store 2 blocks away. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Excellent Stay at Le Nouvel Hotel.
We recently had a truly exceptional and comfortable stay at Le Nouvel Hotel while my partner was pregnant. The level of care from the staff was outstanding.
A huge thank you to Luis and Barbara! They were absolutely wonderful, providing special care and attention that made us feel completely at ease. They went above and beyond to ensure my partner's comfort throughout our visit.

We had the pleasure of staying at Le Nouvel Hotel recently, and I can confidently say it is an extremely charming place! While it’s not a traditional boutique hotel, it maintains a cozy, intimate vibe reminiscent of smaller establishments. The blend of size and charm creates a welcoming atmosphere that immediately made me feel at home.
The staff here are genuinely friendly and incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. My room was clean and comfortable, and all the common areas were well-kept and inviting, reflecting the hotel's commitment to maintenance and guest satisfaction.
Overall, our experience at Le Nouvel Hotel was exceptional, and we’re already looking forward to returning on our next trip to Montreal. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a comfortable and charming stay in the city!

This hotel is clean and quiet. I am satisfied. However, there is no water in the room. There is no street parking. You can pay the hotel for parking and park in the basement. The basement parking has a low ceiling and many cars have keys on the steering wheel to prevent people from forgetting their cars.

The Canadian Stuttering Association (CSA) and L’Association bégaiement communication (ABC) hosted a Joint Annual Conference with nearly 150 attendees at the beautiful Le Nouvel Hotel Nov. 8-10. The event was a HUGE SUCCESS!
Right from the planning stages of the conference at Le Nouvel Hotel, we knew we were working with a top-notch team and in particular Director of Sales & Marketing, Wissam Ibrahim, and OTS Food Services Director, Salvatore Losciuto, with our main OTS contact Franca Spina, all of whom did everything possible to help us make this Conference the success it was!
On-site, we worked with a super efficient team managing the food, meeting room and A/V services, under the direction of Franca Spina. We are super grateful to Franca and our on-site team leader and main contact Brian Pajarillo (also of OTS), who ensured that every request and question was addressed in a timely fashion. He has a great team and we are particularly grateful to Brian’s team member, Nivesh Dagah, who was present with us much of the time and acted on Brian’s direction immediately and also checked in with us regularly to be sure everything was running smoothly!
The venue itself is wonderful for conferences and meetings! We had 6 sessions per hour in 6 different meeting rooms with some space change requirements (e. G. Opening and closing partitions in expandable rooms) and varying A/V requirements per room.

This was a great find for a one night stay in the downtown area! The hotel was easy to find, clean and most of all the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.
Lucie welcomed us and was courteous and friendly. Luis went above and beyond the next day helping us with breakfast coupons and a few other things. He was so professional and friendly!
Our room was on the top floor and very quiet. The bed was comfortable, shower lovely and room was very clean.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!

Le Nouvel Hotel is a beautiful older property with character that is well maintained and exceptionally clean. Our room. The Condo (Prestige) lived up to its name. It was a spacious, well-appointed space with a walk-in shower, full kitchen, and a generous separate living space that was hard to leave. The staff was cordial but could have turned up the friendly a notch. The downside was the inability to use the on-demand TV they supposedly offered and a fireplace that wasn't operational. Those things were minor compared to the restful experience this hotel offered. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant, as there are so many choices within walking distance. Would I stay there again? Absolutely! Try it. You'll like it!

I had a wonderful relaxing stay at Le Nouvel. I really needed a little break by myself and this is the ideal place to stay for that. The location is excellent for walking and so close to just about everything! I attended a concert at the Bell Centre and that was a short walk there and back. The room had everything you would need and the walk-in shower with the rainfall spout was especially welcome after a day exploring the local neighborhood. The room also has a mini fridge and microwave which made it possible to have some awesome left over pizza from the onsite restaurant as a late night snack. The food and the service in the restaurant were outstanding! All the staff were very accommodating and took wonderful care of me during my stay. A special mention goes to Melody at the front desk for the very efficient checkout and organizing a taxi to take me to the airport. I will definitely stay here the next time I'm in Montreal which I hope to be very soon!

This Montreal rendezvous with my friend was really fun since Summertime in Montreal is FUN and we happened to time it just right w/Montreal International Jazz Festival. We selected this hotel because of the reviews and price. Our room was spotless, with nice light, fresh linens and pillows and a GREAT shower! I found the STAFF to be extremely warm, helpful — especially Luis, Alena, Melody and Christina helping us with various needs during our 4 night stay. The gym is small, but has weights, 2 bikes, a few nice machines. We liked the outside seating and proximity as we walked and walked 7 miles the first 3 days. The location was reallly great for dining, shopping plus close to metro and bus so easy access to Botanical Garden and other sights of the fine city. Easy to take a bus from airport that dropped us off 2 or 3 blocks from the hotel. MERCI Le Nouvel Hotel. I simply bought some cream at the corner store upon arrival and really enjoyed the delicious coffee in the room every morning.

We discovered this hotel years ago and keep coming back. Fantastic location downtown on Rene Levesque right off the highway so you can park in the underground parking and forget about your car the rest of the trip as Montreal is very walkable.
Rooms are newly renovated and very spacious and clean. Comfortable beds. Fridge/micro etc. Super warm pool that’s a hidden gem behind hotel that barely anyone uses so that’s fantastic. Nice gym. Great hotel for travelling with kids or as a couple. Highly recommend. We’ve never had a bad experience here in over ten years.

I booked 2 rooms for my family, Barbara and Luis help me through everything such a nice people and respectful.
Everything was great from A to Z, we love it will come back again soon in July for another visit for wedding.
Nice hotel with convenient of parking and location and best price in downtown.

I recently stayed at Le Nouvel Hotel and had a fantastic experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making my stay very pleasant. The room was very clean and neat, which I truly appreciated. The hotel’s location is excellent, situated in a great area with easy access to many attractions. A special shout-out to Luis, the best receptionist, who made every process smooth and provided outstanding service throughout my stay. Highly recommend this hotel!

I had booked a corner room with a king, but was upgraded to a beautiful condo with a balcony. Although it had a queen bed there was a separate living room, full kitchen, washer/dryer & great bathroom. Very clean and well appointed. We arrived later in the day so we ate down at the restaurant and again 1 morning for breakfast. Breakfast wasn’t that good. The only part that was a little confusing was parking in the underground garage. There’s 3 levels and space is a little tight. The 2 levels below where we parked may be for larger vehicles… I’m not sure. We had a smaller/intermediate suv and anything larger would not have had clearance on 1st level. Finding the door to enter hotel was confusing and not marked. Another person parking helped us. When we left it did try to charge us $75 so we buzzed the front desk as parking was free. No issues having that cleared up and gate opened up leave. Walking distance to many restaurants, stores and other areas close by. We walked a few blocks to our meeting point for a tour and dropped off at hotel. Easy friendly check in… took a while to get checked out. One guest was having issues so only 1 to help the long waiting line. Overall a great stay and would easily stay again.

We had an amazing stay! The rooms are so clean and beautiful, the beds comfier than ever, they make you fall asleep in seconds! The staff here are excellent, very accommodating and respectful, so kind as well! Luis was great with us and made sure we were comfortable and happy. Highly recommend Le Nouvel Hotel. Thanks/Merci!

Great for our weekend stay in Montreal. The King Corner Suite was spacious and comfortable. The room was updated compared to the online pictures. Not the fanciest hotel in the area but certainly the best value while still maintaining a modern upscale feel. The staff was great. The parking garage was a plus. Walking distance to the Bell Center and great restraunts downtown. I would recommend and will definitely return.

We booked with this hotel because my mom was having surgery at the Montreal General Hospital. On day 3 of our 4 day expected trip, we found out we could head home early. The staff, especially Luis, was amazing in helping us check out before 12. They were so kind and understanding with our situation, and did not charge us for the additional night. Thank you! When life throws you challenges, it’s nice to meet people who help make the challenge easier.
If this exceptional customer service has not swayed you, hopefully the rest of this review will. The rooms were modern, clean, and very well taken care of. The restaurant connected to the hotel, has delicious dishes. My dad is extremely particular with food and enjoyed the spaghetti and meat balls. I had their pizza (cheese and pepperoni), they must use a pizza stone or oven, because it was beyond what I expected. It was delicious! The meals also came with a beverage (wine, beer or soda) and a salad. Honestly, it’s worth the price.
I have nothing but amazing things to say about this hotel. I will be recommending it to everyone!
