This is a party hotel — plain and simple. Filled with drunken and loud 20 year olds in the party section of Montreal apparently. 3 nights of drunken loud rowdiness. Asked hotel staff to calm things down first night — they did nothing. The partying went on. Not a quiet retreat by any means. Rooms are ok — nothing special. Staff is barely visible and largely unavailable to assist. Parking is VERY expensive. The gang graffiti around the area is also a comforting touch. Very decorative. No vending machines — have to go across very busy Sherbrooke street to couche tard where the clientele is less than savory. In hotel restaurant and bar never open. Large homeless population. Really not much advantage other than it was warm and there was hot water — of course don't get scalded if someone flushes a toilet in the place. It's 2 am and I'm likely going to have to take care of the rowdy college kids myself shortly. No sleep for 3 nights tends to really make a person irritable. Save yourself the irritation.

Fantastic experience. Had flight troubles and called ahead, they were happy to accommodate accordingly which really set a fantastic tone for the entire stay. They also allowed us to check our bags while we walked around before leaving for our flight. The service and location are outstanding.

Google has given this hotel a 4-star rating. I really wished there was a microwave in the room. Especially for families with kids, its utmost necessary to have a microwave.
There was a fridge, a safety lock, iron box and blow dryer… But not microwave.
I dint find it any different than a Comfort Inn or Super 8 or Wyndham chain hotels except for the pet policy part. I am thankful for the policy which really helped us enjoy the trip along with our pet.
Rooms were spacious. The shower was really good.
For the money, I would call it worth it atleast if it had complimentary breakfast.
The good side was the ability to leave the dog crated in the room, while we step out for lunch. That is a feature if most hotels had it, they would attract a lot of tourists.
Parking was a hassle. Valet parking was there, except for once when the valet was out and away.
Pet cleaning extra fee was unnecessary, especially if pet has no shedding or is potty trained to go outside.

Beautiful hotel. The breakfast was fantastic as was the service at breakfast.
The rooms were spacious and clean. Valet parking definitely a perk in Montreal.
I didn't have a pet with me, but love it's pet friendly vibe.

I stayed one night at Hotel 10 in Montreal and, for over $250 plus $35 for parking, I expected a smoother and more comfortable experience. Check-in was frustrating — I waited over 20 minutes because only one staff member was actually helping guests, while two other employees stood around chatting. The male staff members I interacted with were friendly, and the valet attendants were respectful and helpful.
The room itself was disappointing. The bedding was clean, but the room had noticeable damage in multiple areas and felt worn down. The TV was mounted on an awkward upward tilt, making it uncomfortable to watch from the bed. There were no slippers in the room, and when I requested a pair at the front desk, I was told they’d be sent up — but they never arrived.
There were also small details that added to the overall letdown. The hotel photos make it look like it’s connected to the old white building next door, but that building is actually a separate café and not part of the hotel at all. On top of that, there was no complimentary water, and the bottles sold at the front desk were priced much higher than they should be.
A guest checking in before us received a complimentary upgrade, while we ended up in a room that seemed to be falling apart, which didn’t help the impression.
What raised my rating from 1 star to 2 was the checkout and parking policy.

Absolutely beautiful Hotel a couple of blocks from city centre.
Hotel rooms are beautifully decorated, stocked with nice furniture and beautiful linens. The Nespresso coffee machine is a nice touch to and superb attention to detail.
Although the hotel is beautiful, it is the staff that separates this establishment from the competition!
Beautiful people, offer a higher standard of service than the average big chain hotel.
Go ahead and book in to this hotel, your mind and body will thank you and it will no doubt become your favourite place to stay outside of your home.

Beautiful modern and spacious room with big windows and a big bathroom with a rain shower. Coffee maker with pods in the room 👍 It was convenient to everything. Receptionist and the man who held our bags in the bag room were very helpful. They also have an ATM.

Hotel 10 is perfectly located (walking distance to so many cool areas, restaurants and felt very safe) yet quiet enough to get a great night sleep. The bed was super comfortable and the room was spotless.
As pet friendly as it was, I didn't hear any other dogs (even though I knew there were some, including our own).
I would highly recommend Hotel 10 and we will stay here again for sure.

After a very disappointing stay in Quebec City, I was beyond thrilled about my stay in Montreal at Hotel 10. I would absolutely recommend it. From the atmosphere, to the food, to the staff, I had a really great stay.
Travelling solo as a female I am also very happy to say that I felt extremely safe and comfortable in both the hotel, and the area.
Do yourself a favour and book a stay here if you’re in Montreal!

We come to Montreal regularly and often stay at this hotel for his location, pricing.
It is located near st Laurent. There is good food within walking distance and valet parking is available.
The rooms are very spacious. The beds are comfy and bath linens and amenities are decent.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel 10 during Aug 2025. The hotel is in the Latin Quarter, adjacent to a street with countless restaurants, bars, and shops. It’s an easy mile walk if you want to get down to the port or any of the neighboring areas. The room was comfortable and it was not loud. There was some general wear and tear that needed to be addressed, lifting floor panels, cracked paint, etc. But this wasn’t anything that drastically affected our stay. We really appreciated that the parking is valet entry only, meaning the general public cannot access it for parking or otherwise. I forgot something in the room after checkout and the staff graciously allowed me back in to retrieve my item. We’d definitely stay here again.

This hotel was the perfect location for our wedding weekend. The friendly and quick to communicate staff offered a discount for our block of reservations even on the very busy peak season Osheaga weekend! We were upgraded to a suite at no cost and all of our guests enjoyed their generously sized rooms. Kind, helpful, bilingual staff. Wonderful breakfast and great terrace. So few pet friendly hotels too! This had no impact on the immaculate hotel. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Location is good. It’s walkable to places of interests. They have free valet parking. And they parking is quite flexible too. Service in general is great. The room is good. Just one of the beds is not flat. Water is strong enough and hot enough. Bathroom is quite spacious. The only complaint is the bathroom sliding door makes loud noise.

Really a great place to stay. Convenient to venues, restaurants, and transport. Anna at the front desk is incredibly good at her job and a delight to interact with. The room was comfortable and quiet and the air conditioner worked well, even during a heatwave. We got great sleep all four nights we stayed.

Pros: location is perfect if you want to visit Montreal for a couple of days. Most of the key spots are walking distance from the hotel (Mont Royal, old city, downtown, nice restaurants etc). Our room was very big, facing the petrol station but fairly quiet.
Cons: quite disappointed by the valet service at the entrance as the person did not offer to help for the luggages (just gave the trolley but had to do everything myself). People at reception do not help much and did not explain anything when we arrived. There is a water dispenser on the ground floor but it would be good to have few water bottles in the room. Breakfast is nice but choices are limited and quality of the coffee fairly poor.

We were very impressed by this hotel which had fantastic customer service with friendly, knowledgeable, and unusually caring staff. The hotel was modern and up to date and extremely clean. The room was very comfortable with very comfortable bedding and bathroom. We enjoyed coffee in the mornings at Cafe Origine attached to the hotel. The location was central, allowing walking throughout the city for exploring.

Hotel 10 is a nice place to stay in downtown Montreal. The location is convenient as it is near the downtown area, but easily walkable to the sights in the Old Town and Old Port (about 20-25 minutes, mostly flat). The rooms are good sized and clean and the bathroom in particular was nice with a big comfortable shower. The staff was very helpful and polite.
