David Hotel

I couldn't have been more impressed with this hotel. The room was spacious, spotless, and exceptionally well-equipped. Having amenities like a refrigerator, washer and dryer, and dishwasher made for an incredibly comfortable stay.
The location was fantastic, close to restaurants, cafes, and the Old Port.
I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family visiting Montreal, as well as anyone considering staying here. It will absolutely be my first choice the next time I'm in the city.

This place is exceptional! The loft we stayed in was spotless-clean, wonderful comfortable bed, extremely spacious and equipped with everything you can imagine. A huge kitchen with a massive island and everything you’d find at home and more. Dishwasher, coffee maker, pots, pants, cutlery…. The list goes on and on. Even a washer and dryer — wonderfully concealed in our suite. The staff are very friendly and helpful. All nestled in old Montreal. We were steps away from restaurants, bars and all the major attractions. Very modern and unique. On a scale of 1 to 10 the Hotel David is a 20! Far exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to go back.

It was the nicest room (studio apartment) we’ve ever stayed in. The old stone walls gave it so much character! The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the bedding luxurious! The leather couch, beautifully appointed kitchen, and washer and dryer were bonuses we didn’t expect.
It was walkable to everything — the water front and uptown and everything in between. Lots of restaurants, cafes, snd coffee shops just around every corner.
We loved it!

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. Starting with the location, which is excellent—it’s close to everything Old Montreal has to offer, making it easy to explore the area and enjoy the city on foot.
The hotel itself is incredible. Both the hallways and the apartment have the perfect blend of modern and historic charm, which was exactly what we were looking for. You can tell that every detail has been carefully thought out to create a unique and welcoming atmosphere.
What impressed us even more was how peaceful and quiet it was. Despite being so centrally located, we were able to completely relax and unwind during our stay.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and this has become one of our favorite places to stay in Montreal. We would definitely come back on our next visit!

I had a great experience staying at the David Hotel. It's conveniently located in the heart of old Montreal and was close to mostly everything I needed for my short work trip. The room was well equipped, with great amenities and cool branding throughout. I will say I wasn't the biggest fan of some aspects of the loft, like the sink being out in the common area and the shower handles were hard to use and kept coming off, but some of it is just a matter of taste. I did love the "hard loft" style interior though.
Phayssal was very helpful during the stay and helped make sure it was as comfortable as possible for me so shout out to him! Overall everything was just really easy and automated, and the fact that it was so seamless shows how much thought has been put into the stay.

Loft apartment was spacious and well-equipped, location in Old Montreal could not be better, walkable to great restaurants and sites, it is peaceful and quiet. Phaysall was incredibly welcoming and helpful. A+ to him for excellent service. I will definitely stay again!

We loved our stay here! Rooms were clean, trendy, well equipped. The location is ideal for shopping, eating, exploring old downtown, and/or connecting to the metro and underground network.
The staff (especially Phayssal) was friendly, helpful, accommodating. Anything we needed (fresh batteries, more towels, extending our stay), he was ON it.
5 Stars! Will be back.

Our room was very large, clean, and orgaized. They had everything you could need for a multi-night stay including kitchen items. The rooms are modern so they are sleak and feel brand new.
We met Phayssal at the front desk and he took care of us with every little request during our 7 night stay. He was very professional yet friendly, a great asset for this hotel.

We loved our stay at the David hotel. The location can't be beat, within steps of the heart of old Montreal. The rooms are very nice and spacious and self-check in was easy. The hotel felt very clean and safe, and Phayssal at the front desk took great care of us. Would definitely return when we're back in Montreal!

Staying at The David Hotel honestly blew me away. Right from the second I walked in, the place just had this vibe that felt warm and stylish, with tons of character. You’re smack in the middle of Old Montreal, surrounded by all that history, but inside it has modern loft touches that make it feel fresh and cozy at the same time. My room was huge, spotless, and really well put together. The high ceilings and clever little details made it feel like a definite notch above your usual hotel.
You can tell they care about the details here. Everywhere you look, there’s something thoughtful, like a branded backgammon board, plush robes and slippers, and even the tote bags and umbrellas actually look good. You can use them or buy them if you want. It all feels intentional and never random or just for show.
The staff were genuinely great. They set the tone from the beginning and were always present without hovering, and they actually seemed happy you were there. I felt looked after in a way that’s pretty rare. Honestly, that’s what made me decide to extend my stay. I just didn’t want to leave.
Even the virtual side of things worked perfectly. Check in was a breeze with no fuss and no waiting around. They give you a digital passport packed with recommendations and tips, so you know exactly where to go for food or what to see nearby. It made getting around the city simple and way more fun.
And the location is unbeatable.

The David Hotel exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, everything felt thoughtful, stylish, and effortless. The suites are beautifully designed with modern interiors and presentation was very clean.
The location is unbeatable: perfectly situated next to Old Montreal, easy access to the RES (underground walkway), close to great restaurants and attractions.
What truly made the experience exceptional was the service, they knew that we were staying for 4-days and provided us with a complimentary clean. The washer, dryer, kitchen utensils also make it a perfect stay for us!

The David was a great hotel with loft units. The rooms were fully equipped and even had a washer and dryer. We arrived early and were greeted by Phayssal. He allowed us to check in early and showed us to our room. He offered advise on a place to pick up groceries and local places. He gave excellent customer service. During our stay he even brought us an extra pan for cooking. He went above and beyond picking up the pan and delivering it to us. Our stay was terrific and the place was cool with a great layout. Overall the service was excellent. Thank you for a lovely stay in Montreal.

The location is just fabulous. The hotel is amazing, highly recommend it. There were a lot of thoughts and taste behind every detail in the spacious room (I got the premium loft), loved it.
Also the staff were helpful with luggage storage.
As improvement opportunities: there is a noise of something like an AC fan or engine or etc running all time in loft 42. Although not a big deal, for light sleepers, it becomes frustrating at night.
Moreover, as everything is done online and personal and financial info is given to the website I hope the website follows solid security standards that big booking websites often have (for hacking risk and etc).

Love our room so much. It’s got style, character, and a kitchen — what we now prefer in our stays. It has a great location, close to many local cafes, restaurants and cute stores in Old Montreal. And yet no noise at all. Check-in was seamless, though we didn’t talk to anyone. We didn’t encounter any problems except for the ‘missing cutleries’ which we found with the help of customer service on the phone (he must receive lots of calls about it), and we would’ve found it ourselves if we only read the label carefully! We’ll definitely stay again.

We had the BEST experience here. After a year of traveling, the David Hotel has taken the spot of our favorite hotel.
Firstly, self-check in is always so convenient and preferred in my opinion. The instructions were clear and easy to follow and our experience was seamless. The location is great — short walk to the cathedral and easy access to metros and buses. The room itself was a DREAM. It was MASSIVE and had everything we needed — fridges, freezer, microwave, two tvs, tons of storage space (great for two people who love to unpack), a huge shower and bathroom, laundry, and pretty much any amenity we would wish for or need.
I can’t get over how spacious and comfortable everything was — I was it was my apartment back home.
We had the best experience — gorgeous room, comfortable stay, easy way to request anything, etc. Do yourself a favor and stay here without a second thought:

Fantastic suite! Large with all the amenities of home and high end! We loved our stay! We were able to entertain a family of 4 but could accommodate more guests. Leather couch and long leather bench for seating and kitchen with 6 seatings. We felt safe and easy walking distance to Old Montreal attractions and great restaurants. Our needs were met instantly with a simple phone call. Loved it!

The David is a comfortable industrial designed alternative to basic hotel stays. The loft-inspired room was huge, high ceilings, exposed stonework and whitewashed brick added interest and texture. The hotel is quirky and perfectly located. The full kitchen is well stocked. The deconstructed closet with separate bath and washroom facilities, and ensuite washer/dryer worked great with plenty of hot water day and night. Used the ensuite original line Nespresso machine daily. Staff were kind and professional and accessible in person and through online links. There are videos and instructions provided to ensure you find all you need and tips for how to make the most of everything in the room. The apt was very clean and well maintained. Unconditionally recommend The David and I hope to stay again!
