Capsule Residence

Cozy and modern with 24 hour concierge. Bring a mini fan as it gets hot and stuffy in the capsule! Clean and organized place with great staff. Very close to Metro subway.

Aside from the Front Door man being very nice. The actual accommodation is far from it. It’s a beautiful building architecturally however these so-called “pods“ are coffin sized. They are 66 cm in length (see my pictures uploaded) and nowhere near a size of a full bed as advertised in my booking confirmation. These coffins are advertised as a full bed on the listing I chose and upon checking in I realized how small the pods really are.
The wide angle pictures on the website make the pods look much bigger than they actually are IRL. Getting up to the pod on top was also very difficult and dangerous in the fact that they don’t have a full ladder with two handles for you to get up and down.
Bathrooms: Out of service so only one bathroom was available my first night checking in (out of 3 on the ground floor) I checked out immediately in order to get a hotel because I felt completely uncomfortable sharing one bathroom with over 100 guests on floor 1 for my first night and did not end up sleeping in my coffin.
On the second night, I returned my key card and noticed the bathroom had two bathrooms available (out of 3 when dropping off my card and making sure my locker was empty as I rushed out so quickly on Friday night) and still one was out of order.
Storage: The lockers are also incredibly tiny and barely fits full luggage. If you have full size luggage you'll have to store it in your coffin or in the open areas when using your pod.

We had a bit of an unfortunate situation where the lockers and bed did not work for our stay. The manager Marie and front desk staff were extremely kind and accommodating. I cannot express enough how much their hospitality was appreciated. The hostel itself was also well maintained and super welcoming!
