Absolutely love staying here when working in Montreal. A cute little boutique hotel. Unique artwork throughout the halls. Love the workout room… open 24-7 when you feel the need in the middle of the night. Walking distance away from many great restaurants Cathedral, parks, cute shops, parks etc.

Loved our room, complete with Picasso painting! Great location and beautiful property. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and very helpful. I would gladly stay there again.

What a wonderful hotel to celebrate my 70th birthday. Hannah at the front desk was the best. Thank you Joy and Sean for taking me. It was a trip I will always remember.

Beautiful hotel. We stumbled upon it unexpectedly and we were so happy that we did. Great lobby bar, beautiful atmosphere and wonderful staff.
I will be staying there again. Close to restaurants and shopping. I highly recommend this hotel.

Look closely at the review summaries, it says it all. The hotel location is great. The art is lovely, the architecture unique, staff friendly, but housekeeping and maintenance were quite lacking.

The hotel is really beautiful, and in a really nice location. The beds are very comfortable as well and the staff are really nice and helpful. The only downside is that the walls are a bit thin. If you get stuck with a noisy guest on your floor, or beside you as I did, you will hear everything. On the bright side the staff intervened quickly (before I even had to complain, though maybe someone else did) to try to politely ask the loud guests to be a bit quieter. Eventually I ended up asking for a different room as far away from the noisy neighbor as possible. Despite being almost full they were able to accomodate me and they apologized for the bad situation even though it wasnt their fault. The second room actually seemed a lot quieter overall, so maybe the amount of noise you're able to hear from the hall and other rooms varies a lot depending on the room. In short: the hotel is beautiful and comfortable, but it's the staff that really makes LHotel worth 5 stars.

Clean, comfortable, very friendly, helpful staff. I would make this my first choice while in Montreal. It is in the heart of the old city.

Wonderful hotel comfortable, friendly and within walking distance to many attractions. We will stay here again. We arrived very late our first night and the night staff was just wonderful. Don't look any further you will love this hotel. Did not eat breakfast at the hotel.

We picked this hotel because of its location, and it was a good idea. We were just in Montreal visit and walk around. There are plenty of Montreal hotels that cater to business travelers, and we tried one of them last. Spend the money and get a hotel in a location that's worth walking around in. This is the nice end of old Montreal. The other end is too full of touristy tee-shirt shops and other junk. And Old Montreal is the place to be if you want to explore. The staff at this small hotel were warm and efficient. The desk clerk made a great effort to solve my issue with booking and credit. Gabriel is a good bartender and a nice guy. The desk staff answered all our questions patiently and knowledgeably. Also: this place houses a spectacular collection of modern art.

This hotel was amazing, the team was super courteous and accommodating, nice bar and ambiance in the lobby. The curb appeal is incredible, you get the VIP treatment! Rooms are nicely accommodated with plenty of pillows and space. Lacks an ironing board and iron but probably could request one and would be brought to you very quickly. bar tender is very pleasant and has a wide variety of liquor to your disposal.

Amazing hotel art as in paintings, sculptures, posters and modern everywhere, room was huge and very luxurious. Breakfast was adequate and very french. Within walking distance of Notre Dame Cathedral and other tourist attractions including river. Only problem was trying to find a restaurant on a Sunday night. 8Minute walk to metro.

What a great hotel for the price. This is like being in a museum with original works of art all over the halls Miro Warhol Bottero Cesar And many more. The breakfast is very basic. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Parking is $35/night.

Quaint boutique style hotel with a unique art gallery atmosphere. Very polite and helpful staff. Highly recommended for medium budget travel. Central location with plenty restaurants and sites within walking distance.

Beautiful hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Unfortunately I do not speak French though I had tried to learn a few phrases before our trip, but the hotel staff were patient and didn't hesitate to switch to English for me. We really enjoyed the artwork and our nicely appointed room. My goal: learn more French before returning!

A lovely establishment with ample sized rooms and largely helpful staff. However, they could not give us adequate directions to the hotel car park.

The staff is very friendly and faciliades, the rooms are very comfortable and the room is very good.

Very pleasant, inviting hotel in a great location. Room was quite large and well laid out. Main complaint is the slow Wi-Fi, which we were told is just what it is. Using wireless was faster, which isn't ideal for many travelers. Also was a pain to connect to TV.

One of my favourite hotels anywhere. If you want anonymous modern super luxury you probably won't like it very much, but if eclectic old-style hospitality and a top top top collection of pop art rocks your world, give it a try. The staff are lovely too.

Comfortable boutique hotel, a delight for the eyes and well located in the old Port of Montreal.

Loved it. Very charming and antique-ish. Nice central location convenient to the metro and local cafes. First room smelled like cigarettes (I am allergic), they upgraded us to the next room size free-of-charge.

Considering the price and the supposed 4 star rating, I was Very disappointed. Dated carpets and drapes, tacky design choices. Overpriced for what was essentially a small cheap hotel room that could be found outside of the Old Port for under 100.

A few minutes away from everything. Dozens of works of art in the corridors. Spacious rooms, ceilings of 10 or 12 feet. Shower-bath rather unpleasant. Quiet.

Pair of stockings and underwear that dragged in the camber, and they are staying in the same place for 3 days, even the housekeeper left them, the beige carpets were very very blackened, no hot water for 2 nights, I was told to wait, I ask for a meal to the room service, the server Cetais even add his tip on my invoice copy, and it has 15%, has 2 takeover, the valet one bring the bad conveyed, and parking $35 per day, not even able to provide a parking inc Read with the room which it cost more than $300 at night… Jai trying to talk to a manager by phone has 3 recoveries since 2 days and they do not even answer…

Very artistic atmosphere, helpful and polite staff, enjoyed every moment of our stay. This hotel gels very well with Old Montreal’s flavor. Its where old meets the modern. Should be considered at all cost while visiting montreal.

Pricey but a great location for activities around Old Montreal World traveling couple that stayed for seven nights in September during our two week vacation in Montreal. The location was great for all of our planned activities around Old Montreal. Breakfast was not included in the base hotel rate and was $19 a person for continental breakfast. The blackout curtains and refrigerator were very much appreciated. We recommend this hotel for people with a lot of activities around Old Montreal.

Not a good experience. We were treated poorly. Sent to a room with no artwork on the walls, after being told that there would be a fine added if we touched or moved the art. No glassware for wine, no iron for your clothes and hardly any towels. No help for dinner reservations at all. Don't go.

Beautiful Hotel, tall ceiling rooms, very nice staff. Soft bed and very clean room. Could tell the room is renewed at times, the paint from the wooden draw was present. Although we had three people in our room, there's only 2 towels of each kind, wasn't very good on that but the experience was still great!

Very nice boutique hotel in old Montreal. Our room was very large and the ceiling was roughly 15 ft high! The staff are extremely friendly and are very knowledgeable. The continental breakfast was very good and included fresh St Viateur bagels!

I'm going to Montreal a few times a year for work and I love this hotel. We're close to everything (bar, restaurant, large hotels to the Congress, the edge of the water…)

Nice hotel, close to a lot of thing and good price. However do not say that you have a gym if the room is the size of a living room, that there is that small weight machine "licensed" and two cardio machine. Not made for everyone who trains really.
Drinks at the hotel bar expensive, especially as the price does not indicate the taxes. And the bartender looked tired of his evening.

The room was nice, with a comfy bed. Location was nice but the snow clearing could have been MUCH better. Front desk was great. Room was clean as was bathroom, though one of the lights is out it in. Loved the idea of an emergency phone in the bathroom. The style of the rooms wasn't exactly what we were expecting but it was nice for a night. TV was great as was the fridge, pretty much no complaints!

Beautiful Hotel with great staff and services! Always ready to help and are attentive to your needs and all that with a smile. The standard rooms are very spacious, as they have 14'' ceilings. I can only imagine the Suites! Walking distance from everything we wanted to see in the city so that a plus. We will definitely be back.

Eclectic hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms in an ideal location. Can be a bit noisy at night (club nearby? ). Overall an enjoyable stay.

Stayed here for a long weekend with our family. Loved the hotel and the neighbourhood. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
