A stunning suite with many little touches which make your stay perfect. The terrace is large with comfortable furniture.
Room service was unavailable due to COVID-19 but they did deliver a bottle of wine while respecting all physical distancing protocols.
The bathrooms are a topic all on their own. The hotel has gone above and beyond with a variety of amazing touches. There is the Japanese toilet and bidet, a stunning bathtub which is huge and overlooks the terrace, a very large shower, and double sinks.
I recommend spoiling yourself with a stay here the next time you are in Montreal.

This hotel has gorgeous rooms, truly comfy beds, and all-electric, spacious bathrooms. The restaurant is outstanding, snd the concierge is the most helpful ever.

This is an amazing hotel. We stayed for two nights in a regular room. All the lights including the blindes and drapes are controlled by the wall remotes and automatic. The washrooms all come with a Japanese toilet and the showers are Rain showers with a hug bath tub. I would definitely come back and stay here again.

Stayed for one night with my girlfriend. Beautiful hotel. Very modern. Rooms have tons of tech. Heated toilet seats and bathroom floors. Ambient lighting in the showers. Staff were great. Complimentary bottled water in rooms. Robes and slippers were a nice touch. Would definitely stay there again. Valet is a bit expensive at $40 Canadian per day, probably better to drop off your bags and park car in one of the many lots in the area that charge anywhere from $10-$25/day.

We greatly recommend this hotel if you are willing to pay more. First of all, friendly and professional staff! We spent two nights there and almost every of them recognize our faces already. They greeted us every time they see us and they were always willing to offer help. Service was amazing. They cleaned our room twice a day and it was exceptional! Talking about the technology, you get to shower with rotating colours and it’s super cool! This hotel is amazing, we will definitely come back another time. Highly recommend this place!

Form over Function This hotel is very well run, luxurious, and unique, it is however, not the most convenient option. They have combined the beautiful old Mount Stephen Club in front with a super modern hotel tower behind. The rooms are super modern with automated blinds, curtains, lights, toilet (Japanese style), etc. It takes a little work to figure out how to use all the features so if you hate modern technology, this may not be the place for you. Staff are excellent. However the rooms emphasize form over function. For our latest stay, we have a room with only one night table, a huge open space with nothing in it, no chairs other than the desk chair, no tables, no hooks or shelves in the bathroom to put your clothes or toilet kit. Looks great, but frankly there are a lot of inconveniences for two people.

Have not be there in more than 10 years. Since renovations, food and ambiance far better. Highly recommended for group gatherings.

Go back in time in this fantastic old Home turn into a palace. You will be amazed by the service and the rooms. Once again go check the bar. Great cocktails and the bartenders are very knowledgeable.

Wow! My new favourite hotel. What a find. Wonderful mix of old and new, with the technology driven rooms being the contemporary part. A superb lounge bar with wonderfully ornate decor. And the staff throughout the hotel are friendly, funny and energetic. Amazing place.

4.9 Stars. Spent a sisters weekend and very much enjoyed our time at the hotel. The concierge staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant was very good with accommodating our dietary requirements (celiac disease). The only place they lost a point was with one breakfast waiter that did not treat us with respect. He later apologized but it really left an impression considering how wonderful the rest of the hotel staff was.

Where to start honestly with this beautiful historic hotel. From the moment you arrive you can tell the experience is going to be significantly different. From the moment you are greeted to the time you leave, the staff is nothing short of spectacular. Located steps from your favorite shops off St-Catherine, you find yourself not needing your vehicle that much. The hotel itself upon entering is breath taking. To see most of the actual home originally built in the 1880's in our current age is something else that must be seen with your own eyes. I believe his name is Dave, or David, but he took the time around 10pm to take me on a mini tour and explain some of the finer details of the home itself, past personal life of George Stephen and the significance of his role within Canada. This shows you that the staff goes beyond what would be deemed necessary and displays pride within their hotel! Amazing! Thank you to the whole staff for making or stay an amazing one. We plan to be back again and enjoy what was one of our top hotels to date!

This was an exceptional stay for my family at this hotel. The combination of history and modern day is what makes it so exceptional and excellent. The service was excellent, all the staff members were incredibly nice and accommodating. I loved everything about it and wish that I could stay there forever. I highly recommend this hotel. Especially, if you plan a romantic getaway.

First time since it reopened and we were really pleased with our experience. We went to Bar George for Sunday brunch. The room is just stunning in its beauty and warmth. The sound level was just right, something that cannot be taken for granted when out dinning these days. Being there for brunch, we ordered a cheese scone, which was on point and as good as any that I have had in England and Scotland in the past years. For the main course, we went with the English Breakfast. Again, it was perfection! My eggs, sunny side up were cooked perfectly, warm running yokes and whites that were soft and not rubbery, as they get when over cooked. Yes, an egg would seem simple to cook and still, they are more often than not over cooked. I ordered my breakfast with sausage instead of beacon. Again, well done, nicely spiced and not, as is usual with most breakfast sausages over salted. The flavor was definitely lead me to believe that these are sourced specifically for them as I have not tasted them anywhere else in Montreal. My compliments. The same applied to the blood sausage. Again, it was cooked to perfection and was creamy and moist in the mouth. While blood sausage may not be for everyone; like liver, it is often because they experience poorly cooked dishes of it where they are served something that has a chalking mouth feel and a bitter or acrid taste. One demerit, we ordered English Breakfast Tea and got the teapot with a bag of Lipton tea.
