Very nice and clean hotels that is close from the airport.

The children's hospital referred me to this hotel and I am not disappointed. The staff is courteous and warm. 🙂 Despite the fact that I arrived early. They found me a room to accommodate me with my son.

Had a very romantic night! The staff was very friendly.

Friendly service. Room was a little dusty but maybe because it has been closed. They should check these things before guest arrives.

Staff at the reception silly and not smiling at all. No luggage help and I needed help I was alone with my 5 month old baby with bcp luggage. 2 hotel guest helped my a chance. I get to my room, big coffee splash on the bathroom wall. Then splash white on the base of the bed! I'm calling at the front desk, no room change. I wash the bed base myself! Then the next day no room service because of the covid. I understand but yet I had received an email that the maid brings towels and I did not have any. I've got to call for some! Only positive point the hotel is well located and has free and safe parking. Then the restaurant is excellent and at the restaurant Jai had a service of 5. At the tt restaurant was perfect. Friendly staff kindly polite smiling. Excellent food!

I visited the hotel for a meeting. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The restaurant was very delicious — I would definitely recommend the pizza. There is a pool outside and a gym that were well kept. Would definitely visit again.

Super dated, light switches covered with other peoples dirt, same with door handles. Coffee stains down one wall, bathtub caulking peeling up, splotches on the floor, cables hanging down from tv. First room I was in smelt like wet laundry left in a washing machine for 2 days. The only saving grace is the front desk was helpful moving me to a new room.

This is a hotel that was great in the 60, s when Frank Sinatra would travel. The bathrooms were clean and the water pressure great. But it, s location in reference to the tourist area was far away.

Nicer and classier than most hotels. Of the same caliber. Just not super clean. Not dirty but crumbs in carpet when going into new room. Small stains in bathroom walls that are almosy unnoticeable. I tried to convince myself that they do a "deep" cleaning every month to get that stuff and stuff between the bed and walls. Very good staff. Beautiful lobby and pool. High class restaurants attached and nearby attractions. Casino and other venues within bus access.

Nice place. Banquet halls are spacious. The food service for meetings is good and they put out quite the spread. Gym has everything you need. There's even a barber on site!

Best location for being in Montreal all that in one great place with best service for modest price came and experience best place for tourist and business.

It's been 2 times now since 2016 and it's an excellent place as a venue for various events. The service is excellent and they make sure it never misses anything. I give them A's note.

Very clean, modern and the panels that covers the light and noise facing the windows in the rooms helps you to sleep even in the middle of the afternoon. Within walking distance of all services and parking included.

The rooms are spacious and nice. Close to the orange line and easy enough to get downtown. Free parking is a plus. The shower was pretty miserable as it didn't have any water pressure.

Ruby Foo's is as nice a hotel as you can hope for. I've stayed multiple times. Zero complaints and drama-free. Rooms are very comfortable and good condition. The staff are accommodating and professional. The gym is bare necessities, it's clean and everything works. All of the above is perfect for the person passing through looking for rest. It's also located near a metro stop, if you need.

A boutique hotel with a lot going on. Looked like there was always meetings going on in the banquet rooms and restaurants. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. A sliding shutter blacked out the outside giving me good night's sleep. Would be five stars, but I was not able to figure out how to regulate the temperature, every night I was either hot or cold.

I’ve really enjoyed my stays at Ruby Foo’s. It’s true that the hotel is starting to show it’s age a bit and could probably use some investment to freshen things up a bit. But, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the attached restaurants are great and it’s the best you’re going to find in this area of the city. I think my favourite feature is the rolling wall style blind for the windows. It really blacks out the room. Something that most hotels fail to do well at all.

Hotel staff not very friendly. I have stayed there with my groups several times in the last couple of months. I have yet to have a friendly staff member. I guess they figure because I'm a driver that they don't need to smile or be helpful. The location is a great location for a cheaper rate close to Montreal. Very convenient for the airport as well as downtown. Lots of restaurants in the area and all moderately priced. Although it's an older Hotel the rooms are clean and well-kept. There are a lot of Renovations going on so that can be a bit of a challenge with the smell of paint Etc. One thing I would not recommend this hotel for people with disabilities as your room is a long ways from the hotel lobby.

The restaurant offers a map which at first glance is not exceptional. But then what a surprise, the dishes are good, worked and original. The Philly Steak sandwich is served in the form of two toasts topped with meat and cheese, a treat.

This is my second time staying at this hotel. It's location is close to my office which makes it convenient when visiting for business. There's many restaurants in the area plus a couple on site. The hotel is clean and comfortable and quiet which is all I can ask for in a stay.

I typically stay here when in Montreal for business and there is a reason I keep coming back. The staff are very friendly, the location has alot of shops /stores and it's close to major routes to get into the city. They've also recently upgraded the bathrooms, the work was very well done.

Clean spacious room, good shower, fridge. Breakfasts: every choice is a "heart attack on the plate" except from pancakes, which are simply lots of carbs. Dinner menu could also be better. The service at the restaurant is great.

The beds are comfortable, and the restaurants are amicables and the food is good enough. The rooms are clean. I got there after 11pm and was disappointed that there was no room service dissponsible after 10pm, but there were a lot of restaurants close to the hotel. In total, I had a pleasant experience.

Excellent facilities and very good service.

The hotel is great the only reason I'm giving 4 star is because of lack of customer service greeting when I came in. She didn't even greet me, no eye contact. Just asked me under what name was my reservation under. That's important aspect to me. Other than that, hotel is clean, well located, gym facility is great and hot steam shower as well.

My last visit was from 2009 and I then enjoyed it. The hotel is now very very worn out and requires big investments. Bathroom in bad condition and not super clean, window that no longer closes, very grafigné furnishings. One less star for the receptionist really super stupid and another for the Wifi super slow and uncooperative (I'm just exaggerating! ). I'm not coming back.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and it was amazing! The hotel was so clean and the staff were super nice. The location is great, it only took us 10-15 mins to go anywhere in downtown Montreal. Free parking and the pool are a great bonus!

Attended a seminar with my wife. It was hosted by Dr. Gordon Neufeld. Great speaker and developmental psychologist. Very happy to have attended the event. Ruby Foo's is a good hotel. Clean, up to date and underrated. Thanks!

I've been to this hotel twice in the last two years and it was great. The rooms were clean. There is a breakfast and lunch restaurant and its walking distance the the metro station. I highly recommend if staying in Montreal.

Nice clean rooms. Outside a bit dodgy but inside very well. Cesar Salad Medium squid and nachos excellent.

Located near the big arteries but still quiet. Courteous and professional reception, clean room well appointed, very good bed. Hearty breakfast. Noisy air conditioner.

Not a great hotel, an unpleasant service.

All in all it's a nice hotel. However it is a little dated and areas like the floor boards make this clear. The bed was comfortable but was not wrapped for protection of bugs and germs like I commonly see these days (not a bad thing but not a good one either). The staff were friendly, but, when I arrived they gave me my room keys to a room that another guest was already using. Needless to say I quickly walked out of this other guests room and back down the front desk. This was a serious red flag for me, and I likely won't be back.

Though I was medically upset and haven't enjoyed the facilities find inside the hotel specially missed beautiful Jim and swimming pool. Overall this is the best hotel according to atmosphere and food. Will try again.

Ruby Foo is a nice hotel. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The room is very clean and modern. Our only complaint is that there was a party on the main floor and we could hear it upstairs.

We were desperately looking for a hotel (last minute) and Ruby Foo's happened to have one room left. Right off the bat, not having to sleep on the street is a big plus. The staff was extremely courteous, the room large, clean and nice. The bed was ultra comfortable and we didn't hear a sound all night. The place was quite a bit nicer than I expected it would be when we drove up to it. I would go again. Conveniently located close to the 40 and a ton of varied restaurants that stay open late, so finding a place to eat will be the least of your problems.

Location is good because it is close to amenities however it is also a very busy street and hard to get around at rush hour. Food in the restaurants attached are excellent and the pool was fabulous. Completely worth visiting. Price of the room and cleanliness however is about a 5/10. We ended up paying almost $450 for two nights, and when we arrived not only was there a cold cup of coffee upstairs already poured in one of the cups, but the kids found food under the beds and one of the drawers had wrappers in it still. Nothing exceptional, but the beds are comfy and the pillows were nice. I would visit again but only if I got a better deal!

I didn't slept over there nor required their service. I went to a covention and it was too small and extremy hot.

Decent place. Service is ok. Restaurant and bar are decent as well. Quite a few chain restaurants around the hotel for late night bites. Getting uber or taxi could be challenging though.

It's fine. The rooms are older, and my washroom was cramped. Good location, plenty of places within walking distance. Free parking is a plus. The theme is a bit tacky, and the hotel itself is a bit dated to be considered for a 4 or 5 star ranking.

Amazing hotel. Restaurant is an eggspectations which is rightup my alley. Staff are courteous, seems like a very decent hotel.

Location is not close to downtown but it is accessible by subway. Rooms seem to be recently renovated however the hallways are very dated. The bathroom seemed to have skipped the renovations as well. The lobby is beautiful and staff was pleasant. A weird ringing woke me up in the morning and happened again in the middle of the day.

Clean and comfortable rooms. It's not obvious, but the exterior wall slides over the window as a blackout shade. Staff were all very friendly and attentive. The restaurant below was actually quite good for breakfast, with a large menu and generous portions. The kid's meals were enormous.

Our room is beautiful and the beds are very comfortable. It took us a few days to realize that the whole wall next to the window moves to blackout the room. Once we figured that out, our experience was a lot better.

Staying for business for the week. Hotel is in great shape and the staff are very nice. Rooms could use a touch-up.

Really nice hotel! The hotel is away from downtown but walking distance to the Metro. Its very modern and chic. It has a good Wi-Fi connection, and parking is free. What more could you ask for a hotel in Montreal. I think the best part about this hotel is the fact that it had a 1pm checkout time. That's how it should always be! Loved this place, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay, but still need easy access to downtown.

The hotel is great. Rather confusing layout inside though. Very clean and well kept rooms.
However; the reception desk staff are not the most pleasant. Typical attitude issues. We had booked through hotwire, and called in advance to make late check in arrangements only to end up in a single bed room that we had to call the reception desk to change it. We specifically asked for late check out the moment we checked in but when I spoke to the reception desk to confirm on the day off I was told " oh no we are busy so we can store your luggage safely till your preferred check out". I had to speak to the manager to get things done. Seems night staff do not communicate with day staff!
I would not recommend this hotel, solely for that reason.

We found our room to be bigger than the average hotel room. Beds were comfortable. We did not use the pool but it was packed when we walked by. Parking was included. Two minute walk to subway.

Every year when I visit Montreal with my family from Toronto, I stay at Ruby Foos. Clean rooms and facilities. Nice and friendly staff. Nice location.

We recently stayed at this hotel and loved how comfortable and clean our room was. The staff were exceptionally professional and helpful. We would definitely stay here on our next visit.

I stayed here for 4 nights, the hotel and its staff made my stay in Montreal very enjoyable! All employees that I spoke with were pleasant, helpful, and they spoke English. My deluxe room was very spacious and comfortable. The best part of that is I booked a standard room, and due to the Grand Prix weekend they did not have enough standard rooms, so they upgraded me to a deluxe at no extra charge. Located about mid-way between Trudeau Airport and downtown, the rates were a fraction of the downtown hotel rates! Just a short walk from the Namur Metro station, which is the best way to get around town, even if you have a car. If I travel to Montreal again Ruby Foo's will be the first place I call.

Went here for business and it was great. I guess those renovations were substantial because the rooms were excellent, high speed was very fast, bathrooms immaculate, clean. Hotel is near lots of good spots to eat. Reasonably priced. Recommended.
