Great place to stay when in Montreal! Staff is friendly and and service is great. Always smiling :) will be back again for sure.

The staff are very friendly and there are several who speak Spanish. The breakfast included is quite good as you can serve yourself whatever you like as many times as you like. The hotel does not have an elevator or wheelchair access and there are quite a few stairs even to get to the reception. There are many very rich restaurants on the avenue.

This is an excellent small hotel in the heart of Montreal's Latin Quarter. Great restaurants near by. In the summer, there is often a festival literally just outside the front door. The free breakfast is some of the best anywhere.

In the heart of Montreal, it was so comfortable and quiet when we stayed in our room. You could hardly tell we were in the middle of the city. Love the atmosphere and the service. We'll for sure come here again!

This is the fourth time we have stayed here in the last five years. Each time have stayed here, we have spent at least five nights if not six. This hotel has a limited number of rooms — so make your reservations early. This hotel is not cheap. The decoration is as if you were staying at grandmother's house. The plus is that the location is in the heart of everything. You will not be lacking a place to eat or something to do. They provide a fantastic breakfast with high quality food. This is the hotel one should stay at to experience Montreal at it's finest.

Had a lovely stay at this quaint little spot nestled downtown by the university. The room was cozy and warm and the service was top notch. The bed was a little stiff but the jetted bathtub made up for it! Close walking to tons of fantastic restaurants; wonderful central location! We enjoyed out stay very much.

This hotel is wonderful! Great location with tons of bars, restaurants, and easy walk to the metro and old Montréal. Staff was extremely helpful and provided us discounts to the biodome and a local coffee shop. We stayed in a junior suite which was beautiful, clean, and had a jacuzzi tub for two people. Only reason for 4 stars is because the mattress is awful! Despite dreading going to sleep due to how hard the mattress was, I would stay at this hotel again for sure.

Room was very clean. Staff efficient. Double bath tub was a bit small for 2 ppl.

I've stayed here twice now, great location in town for people who want to check out the local area and cuisine. Walking distance from the metro and great shops and bars.

Really awesome location and friendly staff! The room was a bit cramped, but for the price I did not mind it one bit! Breakfast was delicious (though their coffee was not a strong point) with croissants, cheeses, meats, yogurt, etc. My only real complaint is how stuffy the building can be. Otherwise, this is definitely a place I would recommend!

Great position in the old town. We had street circus almost outside our door. We stayed only one night as joining a cruise ship but would have liked more. Lovely restaurants close by with lively vibe. Superb hotel beautifully clean, efficient friendly staff and nice breakfast room and good breakfast. Would visit again.

Great location — easy to walk to many neighborhoods, museums and attractions, with tons of great restaurants and bars nearby. Small, no-frills room, but overall very clean, quiet, and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast spread each morning, including fresh croissants, cheeses, yogurt, cereal, and fruit. The staff were lovely and very accommodating — they made everything easy for us, from parking directions, to storing our bags before we could check in, to keeping some items in the kitchen fridge and freezer for us. The only downside was that our room was on the patio and there was almost always someone sitting right outside our room smoking.

I debated between 3 and 4 stars — I was quite satisfied, but my standards are not all that high. The room was very small and I had minor noise issues, but it was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. The breakfast was very nice. The best thing was the incredible helpfulness of the front desk staff. They were phenomenal.

Conveniently located and tucked away to give it a private feel. This hotel has amazing service and a wonderful breakfast. I would highly recommend staying here and will likely stay here on a subsequent trip to Montreal.

A very comfortable hotel, excellent location, and a very attentive staff. Many good restaurants within walking distance.

My wife and I have stayed here numerous times over the past several years. You cannot beat the location. You can just leave the car parked during your stay and either walk or use the Metro to access all that Montreal has to offer. The service is magnifique and the buffet breakfast is decidedly French and very good. Highly recommended!

We had a winter visit. The staff people we met were all very friendly and accommodating. The location of the Hotel was perfect for exploring the different areas of the city. The room was clean and quiet. The only things preventing this review from being a 5 was that we found the mattress to be too firm for our liking and I would have enjoyed a few more heartier options at the continental breakfast. Our stay was great and I would recommend this Hotel to anyone traveling to Montreal!

The garden of Antoine is very well located in the Latin quarter. Easy to organize visits to Old Montreal and other places.
The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is plentiful at wish.
What was much less funny during our stay is the noise of a site nearby. The din of the machines woke us up from 7am in the morning. Our room was just a few yards away. The management of the hotel to minimize this "big detail".
This was the beginning of our first vacation in Quebec and this remains a negative point for us.

Cute hotel in the heart of downtown. I got my mom a room there for my wedding and she really enjoyed it. Said that the breakfast was good, the people at the front desk were extremely helpful as well. Loved the fact that they had reasonably priced toiletries for my nephew who needed a few things. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

I came into town from the U. S. For an impromptu vacation and decided last minute on a place to stay. Le Jardin d'Antoine had such a great price I couldn't pass it up. What ended up being more or less a random hotel selection ended up being the best decision I could've made and really made my whole trip that much more enjoyable. The hotel has a great location in the Quartier des Spectacles area near downtown, and is only minutes away walking to nearby restaurants and shops, art museums and entertainment. On top of that, it also has metro stops nearby so if you'd like a quick way of transportation around the city you're only a few minutes walk away. Every single interaction I had with the hotel staff was wonderful. Not only were they friendly and courteous, they also helped me with whatever needs I had, whether it be information about one of the many arrondissements in Montréal, finding a particular store, or simply greeting me with a smile and asking about my day. Also, the staff members were bilingual so if you're an English speaker it makes things that much easier. Overall, I'd highly recommend. 5 stars for location, wonderful staff, breakfast, and clean rooms.

No elevator — but that's part of the charm of this little place, we liked it very much. The lady in the front room was very helpful, even made restaurant reservations when we had language difficulties. She knew Montreal history well, and was completing a major related to tourism and hotel management. One problem: the bathtub is very French — in other words it's really not well designed, but if you're careful you can have a very relaxing bath without spraying all around the floor.
