I booked a room for 2 nights at this hotel. When I checked in my room, I found in the room there was another door to the room next door. Since I travelled only with my daughter, I felt very insecured staying in a room like this. I went to the hotel manager right away to tell him my concerns and requested a diifferent room. However, the manager said they had no more vacant room. Then I asked him to cancel my reservation. The manage refused my request and charged me for 136 Canadian Dollars for that night even though my daughter and I didn't use that room at all. I told them they didn't say a word about the extra door in their room description showed on the the Booking website. If the description had mentioned the extra door, I would not have booked the room. I also told the manager that I have been to many hotels in many countries and I have never seen a room with an extra door like this which can be dangerous. No matter how hard I tried to reason with the manager, he still refused a full cancellation and charged me for one night. And what's more outrageous was he even threw me and my daughter out of the hotel and slammed the door on my face. So, in my personal opinion, this is an awfully bad hotel.

Very nice motel and cozy furnished. Unfortunately, the rooms were not made with us. The food in the restaurant was super tasty and the staff very friendly.

The rooms are very nice, all of them with a nice bathroom with bathtub/shower and a nice room. We came to watch whales and it was very easy to book a tour a few houses down the street. They even have a pick up spot in front of the hotel. The staff was nice and friendly, but sometimes made some weird remarks.

Great food in this area. Kid friendly, decent prices and good service. Would definitely recommend.

Friendly staff, the place is busy but it is still possible to have peace, a lot of European on site, good restaurant! Room usually clean some aspects to improve.

Motel quiet and friendly, the rooms are large and well equipped, it is really just ready for the Bay and whale excursion departures as well as a small grocery store! Wi-Fi and free coffee.

Well-placed hotel in the city — the double rooms are well made with a nice rerrasse. An associated restaurant offers a nice menu. Staff available and welcoming!

Great room, good location. Would get 5 stars if the staff wasn't pushing tickets and overpriced breakfast (go to the bakery a block over instead).

The location was great, access to nearly all the main sites by foot. Only had to drive to the dunes. Reasonable room prices which were very cozy. Good breakfast at the restaurant right beside.

Large room motel side with large wooden deck. Clean and tastefully done. Generous american style breakfast included. Very attractive compound. Well situated waking distance to quaint harbour.

Excellent hotel. While not exactly on the shoreline, the place is well furnished and service is bi-lingual. They are also able to book whale-sighting tours as well during check-in.

Paid very expensive room in low season (October) so all around is closed. Room at the top of the staff, old and dusty while it seems to me that they have recent in the adjacent building.

Great rental. Friendly staff. The restaurant was very good. Well located. The rooms are ok. I recommend the rooms with balconies that gives you a great atmosphere.

Cool place, BUT … if we stay with the facts: The bed was awful and I could here the neighbours whispering (! ) in their bed!

The room was very good with two bathrooms and two double beds well suited for two couples. The beds were very soft, the flat-screen TV simply a joke, it looked like an old 17" monitor. The restaurant was a disaster, the food quality poor and service almost non-existent.

Maximum of votes, because simple clean and very very nice (free Wi-Fi and free parking) that lacks lift, swimming pool and who knows that other comforts is secondary to the beautiful place.
