Le Héron - Studios Nature

Staff were very warm and friendly. We only stayed one night, but I wish we were there for at least a week. The space is pristine and has everything you need to prepare your own meals.
We visited the nearby natural history museum, Marais de la rviere des cerises.

We had a wonderful stay from the moment we checked in until the day we left. Our family booked the entire property (several apartments), which made it perfect for spending time together while still having our own spaces. It was great being able to walk freely around the property and enjoy access to both Jacuzzis, the playground, and the various patio.
One of my favorite parts of the stay was the beautiful animal-themed artwork displayed throughout the hallways and inside the apartments, it added a really unique and welcoming touch. Another highlight was the board games cabinet, which was a big hit with both kids and adults!
Each apartment was well-equipped with all the basic kitchen essentials, the bedding and towels were very clean, and even the sofa beds were surprisingly comfortable.
I do have a couple of small suggestions: First, it would be helpful to label the key cards with apartment numbers or provide key card holders with the number clearly marked. All the cards were plain white and got mixed up easily between family members. Second, we noticed that the shampoo bottle ran out quickly, after just three people showered, there was none left. It would be great if the shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel bottles could be refilled after each stay.
I would highly recommend this place. It’s modern, spotlessly clean, and just a short walk from both the beach and the center of Magog. A perfect spot for families or groups looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Fabulous stay where we had a gorgeous suite w separate bedroom, full kitchen, living area w a gas fireplace and impressive bath complete w tub and large shower.
We also enjoyed using the hot tub after skiing. The location was perfect for exploring Magog and skiing at Mt Orford.

Beautiful Inn with well appointed apartments and nice outdoor common space, including 2 hot tubs. It is on the main road into Magog, so convenient to most everything there and close to Orford National Park.

Fantastic stay! Beautifully appointed studio apartment hotel. Very pleased the moment we opened the door. Fully equipped kitchen. Incredibly comfortable bed, pillows, comforter etc. Comfortable living room with large screen TV.
Enclosed shower and bathtub in beautifully designed bathroom. Hot tub and gas fireplace on patio behind building. Secure storage to store bicycle, ski gear. Quiet building. This is an amazing place just on the outskirts of Magog.

Le Heron is such a beautiful, thoughtful clean comfortable home away from home. The suite had a fully equipped kitchen, there was really nothing we needed. It was spotless and decorated so beautifully, with all of the state of the art mods and cons. The shower and bathroom were spectacular and the bed luxurious and comfortable. Every detail was considered for a comfortable stay. Even a personal storage facility for your sports equipment so no one else had access. It allowed us to relax knowing our bikes were safe. The artwork on the walls was stunning which makes me want to buy each piece. The town is super close for all the restaurants and the lake. The best grocery store in the town, Avril, was a stone's through away with organics and fresh produce. The location is brilliant for cycling. We did a different route each day taking in the famous Benoit's Abbey, North Hatley, mont Orford and more. There is so much to do and it's all there at your finger tips. We felt we really lucked out finding Le Heron and for sure will return. Please who ever stays respect and look after it as it's a gem 💎 A special shoutout to Caroline who made our stay special and a real treat, looking after us so well. Also Danny for letting us check out late. We will see you all again.

Very bad service, we paid a deposit of $200 and after two weeks I did not find it in the account, so I sent them a reminder about it and I received a response that we left the room dirty and the towels dirty and we were late to cheack out, and it was all slander. We left the room in good gondition, we were on time for the check out. Avoid this place because they are thieves.

We stumbled on Le Heron Studios while we were looking for a place to stay in the Magog area. My husband found it on Google, and by the time we had arrived at the location, his Google post had disappeared. More people need to know about this place! It needs to be sold out every day of the week because it is that wonderful. It is very secure where you need a key to enter all areas. Fabulousness in no particular order: fluffy new bathroom towels, contemporary comfortable design, brand new construction, electric car charging station, everything you would need for a short or long-term stay, central heat and air, free laundry facilities (bring your own detergent), comfortable bed and linens, fireplace in the sitting room, light switches with dimming switches in the dining area and sitting room, televisions in the sitting room and the bedroom, great rain head shower and deep bathtub in the Grand Heron room, magnifying makeup mirror, nicely scented bathroom products, a mirror in the bathroom that can change light color, full kitchen with refrig/freezer, dishwasher, oven/stove, and all dishes/utensils/pots and pans, coffee and coffee maker, an outdoor area that one could stay for a long time including blankets, gas fireplace, overhead heating, hammocks, Adirondack chairs, playground for the children, two brand new hot tubs, grill, comfortable chairs and loveseats. Lovely lakeside park nearby with skate park with boat and jet ski rental.
