We had booked a room for people with reduced mobility! <
-the screws of the shower bench passed through the bench … very comfortable for the buttocks! < br / > — the clamp to hold the shower phone in place is broken, convenient especially for a person with reduced mobility to soap with one hand and hold the shower phone with the other.
— the wall-to-wall carpet of the room does not allow autonomous travel for the person in wheelchair
-finally we wanted to make coffee at 6:14 in the morning, at the opening of the bag the products seemed to have already been used! Excellent in times of covid! <
— no service at night, the person at the reception had no power not even the ability to change our coffee making bag! It is necessary to wait for the manager at 8: 00 am
-finally despite the manager has been informed of the problem he decides to arrive at 9:00 instead of 8:00…

The rooms at this hotel are not very clean and the Covid19 measures are not ntulled. I find that 4 stars is exaggerated, the Quality Inn is 3 stars and the rooms there were much cleaner. Not recommended.

I'm really disappointed… A short getaway to Sherbrooke was unfortunately ruined by The President's Hotel on King Street.
First the breakfast was realMNT ordinary. Cardboard plate, plastic utensils, we were not told anything about what we could have, nothing displayed, we were handed stuff wrapped in cellophane. But the disappointment doesn't even come from there! One can understand in Covid's time…
Little dizzy as I am, I forgot a pair of gougounes. They were sent back to me in the mail, without informing me of an associated cost, let alone the amount! Hugo was supposed to come back to me with the cost, but I had no calls. It wasn't until a month later, when I opened my credit card statement, that I noticed! Almost $30 for a small pair of gougounes! FACTURED to my card, without any permission from me! It's ORDINARY! I did contact them, Catherine at customer service didn't want to know and she refused to give me the name of her superior…
Sherbrooke is a beautiful city, the bike paths are beautiful, there are beautiful frescoes all over the city, the Siboire microbrewery is super cool, their staff is very friendly and the food is really good. A very good address in Sherbrooke.
On the other hand, on the hotel side, there are certainly better choices than the one we made, opting for The President, who allowed himself to charge me without my permission and without even telling me!

The receptionists beasts like that can not be!
Lunch at $8 for bagel and cane fruit salads I've never seen in my life!
In addition to taking 30 minutes to do a check out and when I ask if it's going to be long, they answer me by shouting "Jel c you moer! "
Never again in my life! I don't recommend it to everyone!

Value for money this is very good.

No micro wave in the rooms and especially the breakfast continental $8, this is the first time that I see that, normally it is included in the price of the room, in all hotels that I have frequented for the past few years, the only time that I have paid for it, it is because there was service and meals prepared by the employees, and not our own.

My opinion is that this hotel is outdated and not worth the $. The rooms are big enough, but the carpet is old and smells stale and everything in the hotel clearly needs updating. In my room, the small refrigerator was noisy (it woke me up at 2:30am and 4 am), the air conditioner’s controls didn’t work and there was some sort of electrical problem with the desk lamp. I changed rooms, where the above was better, but where the bathroom sink stopper didn’t open. House keeping and maintenance need to pay closer attention to detail. Breakfast is not included, but you can pay $9.20 for the worst hotel breakfast I’ve had in a long time. You can expect coffee/tea, juice, fruit, cereal, bread and hard boiled eggs. Nothing else. If you’re used to traveling or staying in hotels, you will no doubt be disappointed. Even if the hotel doesn’t do anything else, it would help tremendously if they served a better breakfast. There is a pool and hot tub, but it’s location in the hotel is odd. The hotel must be proud of it, however, because it’s displayed behind big glass pains like a zoo exhibit. When you walk to the rooms from the reception area, you have to walk down a flight of steps and pass by the pool. There is another way to get to the rooms (you have to go outside), but this route is less than ideal if you’re handicapped or have a lot of luggage. I personally would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We had booked two business rooms in Sherbrooke. In the early afternoon we had to leave town and cancel our rooms. I knew I wouldn't pay it back at the last minute. But I have asked the director to give us a postponement of the date, since we will have to come back shortly. He refused, and we were charged the full amount. We will stay elsewhere for our next stays in Sherbrooke!

I only went to the pool with my family and I loved the pool and spa but I found customer service (-a star—no smile, no way… etc) and the price, far too expensive for the children… (-a star), on the other hand I will go back because very beautiful family activated.

Yesterday we had to book a room last minute and reception were able to accommodate us (family of 5). Customer service, hospitality, cleanliness, pool and last not the least breakfast was a cherry on the top for the price that we paid. Front desk Staff were very intelligent, professional and have patience. We will absolutely visit this hotel again.

It doesn't respect the four star hotel standards. Rusty bathroom door, no air ventilation in the bathroom, squicking entry door, the pool definitely had better days and so on.

We stayed at hotel the President several times. Each time it was a very pleasant experience, both for the parents and for our young children with the pool. Value for money more than interesting … so a must-have.

Very good hotel but I would have put 4 stars if their access card system were not as inflexible. Their system disables the cards at noon (12:00) the day of departure so I found myself locked out and from the hotel and my room. Otherwise the rest was fine.

Was a nice hotel. Very clean and well maintained. Compared to other hotels I've stayed at the were good They however lacked a few amenities. No emergency shavers or toothbrush. No complimentary breakfast. A d a few other things.

The worst stay of my life in a hotel. Room with practically non-existent lighting. That of simple bedside lamp and corner with bulbs too low. No ceiling lighting in livable space. Water for the warm shower only no hot water. Virtually non-existent Internet of 2mbytes download and less than 1 Mbytes upload. Ridiculous. Frankly not recommendable.

On this very day, we are there for congresses in the area but not at this place. We're only here to sleep. ATROCIOUS cigarette odor with carpet moisture and mold… We had to buy a deodorizer (pregnant not ideal) staff not understandable… We had to bring the maintenance change cover because hair present in the bed. Have to open the patio door for airy. Dust on the furniture. We need to get sweepler under our eyes. Let's ask for an impossible refund. No breakfast included at $138 per night. (Corporate Award) Congress. Smaller Kitty that has under the beds… Unable to reach the Manager according to the employees at the entrance. Ask to call for health reasons. We cannot say the Director remains in Magog. I do not advise anyone the hotels in Mexico are cleaner than this one. He had clients asking for a room. We were willing to leave them and if we let our room have to pay the two days of our room similarly.
Then the pool scrambled and green, finally unhealthy! Usually we always arrange to listen to our customers if we want a good clientele but unfortunately not us who will say good thing about this hotel. We'll only say the truth!

Very comfortable hotel. Room was clean and cozy. The air conditioning units in the room are quite loud however.

I liked this hotel very nice room and in addition access to the indoor pool with a whirlpool bath (just shame that its closed at 10pm JY would have well returned before sleeping) certain to returned to my next trip to Sherbrooke.

Sleepless in Sherbrooke : This hotel lost control. The corridors is a playing ground where people gathered. Late in the night you have teenagers yelling while early in the morning you have kids running and using corridors as a playing ground. A great hotel if sleepling is not a need for you… avoid, avoid, avoid…

Nice, clean and peaceful place to stay at, close to some great restaurants, I've stayed here many times and enjoyed each time. I highly recommend it to you!

The hotel is clean, well equipped and meets the standard expectations for business travelers, older tourists, guests of university or families with children. There is also an indoor swimming pool which I unfortunately had no time to try. Breakfest is served in a buffet style "all you can eat untill there are the supplies" and it costs 9, 20 $ taxes included. In my opinion, you can do better for that prize. Other thing is, if you travel by car, then there is no problem to get from the hotel wherever you want. If you are not, on the other hand, the location of the hotel is 1h 30 on foot from downtown (the cross of rue King and Wellington) and if you need to go to University of Sherbrooke, it is also complicated to commute by public transport.

Competitive price, confortable beds, great location (accessibility), beautiful view on Sherbrooke city (all you need in a classy hotel).

One night in a room for a professional appointment. The hotel is aged and the price seems excessive for this quality.
There is a swimming pool, which can be nice but I didn't have time to enjoy it.
— My room was dimly lit and it was difficult to find the central switch, a light bulb was missing in the foot lamp.
— The fridge was excessively noisy and it was necessary to unplug it — the heating/air conditioning was also very noisy and was cut (we are still in cool temperatures — the Wi-Fi password received with the cards was not working — the breakfast Euner of the hotel was really poor in choice.
I advise against.

For the price still disappointed, I call them to tell them that the TV works not, and tell me to unplug the 2 files back and waiting. After 10 minutes it market but not even able to have VAT due to lack of network, and more channels! Have to pay for continental breakfast$ 8 for it while it's free everywhere, and I do not know if Cetais offices at the top of my room, I had the 105 but a lot of noise very early. Room clean and comfortable.

We had a nice stay with my family. We liked the pool and the spa. The room was quite large, well appointed and clean. The reception at the front desk was warm and well tuned to our needs. We will definitely go back!

They are not polite, you cant ask questions because they answer really bad and seem to not like there job! Last time in this hotel.

The room is very… but the Internet… that's really not what they're talking about on the ultra high speed advertising side while it's ultra slow speed in Wi-Fi from 3mgbits wholesale maximum. Thank you for adjusting the connection to 6 mgbits but I have to root myself with my cell phone because it remains clearly insufficient to work there with campaign connections. The side of the room is execellent! Four stars on my part. ;)

Average hotel. Rooms are ok but not great. Microwave was not available in the room. Washrooms are not upto the mark. They don't have hot breakfast also they don't refresh breakfast on daily basis. Swimming pool experience was great.

Arrived on 25 January around 14h without reservation and the 2 girls at the front desk were smiling and welcoming, very fast check in, the room is clean and the pool is great value for money, very happy to spend these 2 nights for the party at my Girl.

Friendly service really enjoyed our stay. Don't forget to bring bathing suit nice pool and hot tub. Lovely dining room continental breakfast great selection but just no hot food.

I only went to the pool there, I think it was a bit overpriced at 11$ for pool access only but the place was clean and the pool was nice. Although the lifeguard was very unprofessional and had his earphones on. There is a spa available too.

I found myself in this hotel on a stormy night, without having planned it. Online booking very easy, professional and warm welcome. The room was very comfortable, and especially very quiet. The breakfast was very good. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

I have several hotels with several group sports and this is by far my worst experience. First I found waste under my bed upon my arrival… in wetting my down I see your that there was a can of liquor was half empty under the bed… innaceptable! Secondly, the breakfast Saturday morning was a disaster… so much more that we must pay… Lastly, any manager, is only reachable in the event of a dispute… the receptionnistes Saturday, two frustrated to stay polite we have virtually sent to chi… Sherbrooke is a beautiful city and to have discussed with people of other sport teams who had the brilliant idea of booked in another establishment has a better cost. I don't really recommend it not this hotel.

Good for the price. I stayed two night there. The bed was good and the rooms were quiet.

I went there for a research meeting. The room we had was probably an old hotel room that had been updated in order to be able to take place of conference room. Since we were only about fifteen, the environment was perfect to allow us to exchange and promote the discussion. On the other hand, the lighting would be for an adjustment since the very slow flickering of the lamps was made perceptible to the naked eye and when taking video or photo, it became more than obvious. Also their reception was very warm and the receptionists greeted us even before I had time to challenge them. Their advice was fair and clear which made it easier for me to report in the place. I quickly passed by the president's pool, that Don I had been hearing about, and I must admit that the atmosphere seemed to be most enjoyable. Brooks-style wall decorations in a jungle temple helped establish a vacancy environment which explains why so many people talk about this place as being relaxing and allowing them to fully pick up. In the end, I was only passing very quickly, but this place seems to me to be very comfortable and warm, whether for family holidays or even business meetings, the place will appeal to everyone while remaining modest.

I mean, it's okay if you go in, go to bed, and go out. Day 1: — Notice the Wi-Fi is sub-par, even though they advertise "extreme high speed for everyone". I can barely get 100k/s and it drops regularly. Forget watching youtube videos in anything else than 240p. Bring your own media to watch. — Decide to try on the TV. It's also sub-par. Every 30 minutes or so, the signal drops and you have to reboot the TV. I kid you not. — So I resign to watch movies I have on my laptop. Plug the laptop into the provided power-bar, hook up my headphones, and start watching. That's when the fridge decides to kick in. It's loud. I mean, very loud. And it throws so much feedback out on the power circuit (it's not plugged into the power bar, but the wall outlet) that I can hear a pop in my laptop headphones. Yikes. Unplug immediately to prevent any damage to expensive laptop. Day 2: — Start eating super, there's a cockroach that flies from side to side of the room. Really? Day 3: — I'll just go hang out in a bar and come back wasted then pass out in bed. Day 4: Can't wait to check out. On the plus side, the staff were kind.

Note to me. Never book at the same time as a hockey team. My kids couldn't even enjoy the pool so it was edgy. Disappointing as the rest of the hotel was very good and the staff welcoming…

Love the reception for. Personal reasons. Rooms are pretty cheap, climate controls for the room are half working and even at the coldest settings it wouldn't make a difference between cold and hot, Wi-Fi is painfully weak, access cards for the rooms are working half the time. Avoid it unless it is you're only choice.

I would recommend Delta if you have a choice. I didn't like this place as much, it feels like a fancy motel not a hotel, service is mediocre, rooms facing the highway are very noisy, I think ok if facing the back (nice forest in the back), they don't even include a bottle of water in the room, very cheap.

Nice and clean, good location. Great price — the parking and Wi-Fi are free, but you have to pay for the breakfast.

Room was nice enough but was disappointed overall considering the price we paid. Noise from the highway on rooms facing that side of hotel meant we couldn't keep our window open at night to get some fresh air. Pool did not open until 9am which I consider pretty late, and then there were no towels available. Hot tub was covered in plastic which staff didn't bother to remove until asked to. Breakfast was not included but was reasonably priced and had a decent selection. Parking lot was almost full when we arrived and is pretty tight, wouldn't recommend it if you have anything in tow.

Nice hotel with easy access from highway. Quick check-in. Comfortable, quiet, clean and modern room. Nice touch with automated doors from outside. Use your key and both doors open allowing easy access with your luggage. Lovely terrace for relaxing. I would recommend this hotel.

What a GREAT hotel! Very clean and comfortable. The location is great for whatever you need to get to. The staff is wonderful. The sliding doors to the outside in the rooms open with a screen so you can get plenty of fresh air. I love this hotel!

It is clean, easy access! It was full of children at different tournaments but the quiet was met in the corridors :) but the compressor of the ice machine of the third made a lot of noise! And a room on the courtyard side are more quiet! But otherwise it is despite this it is well.

A business class hotel with good Wi-Fi and a convenient location. Rooms are dated, but clean with a dorm style refrigerator, small coffee pot, iron and ironing board. The one thing they are missing is a microwave. There is not one in any rooms, nor is there one in a common area that guests can use. Parking is also a bit tight.

I am satisfied with my stay at the hotel Le President, the staff was courteous and the room was immaculate. She was of average size and was comfortable. Only downside, my neighbour in the other room a) was talking loud or b) the walls are thin! A bit of both I would say. But otherwise it was fine. Good price for the quality.

Wow what accueil☺☺nous are currently in Room 206. For the great price and the outstanding service I granted a 5. The pool and a whirlpool are very appreciated by big boy of 6 years lol☺ there is a supervisor (who watches really and very) nice lol and it's very own spa pool area are well lit with a great view. Full of small "samples" or you forgot your sewing kit shampoo rinse mouth etc (free) lol. Nnieseuse you tell me lol but the doors open alone we support on anything that opens! full hands no. PROBLEMO is convenient. The beds are super comfortable very beautiful bedding clean. Large rooms. I stayed in the hotel President April 1-2-3, and I was frankly disappointed. First of all the $ 200 deposit. Should be notifying customers that a sum must be provided. I was told so much worse for you you have booked online. Otherwise we would have told you. We were in the middle of a group of hockey. The noise was incredible and the one guard was overwhelmed. I asked why there was not a quiet and a noisy corner. I was told so much worse for you you have booked online. If you don't want that you book online, do not offer the service. Two last points: lunch is not included? Finally, we have had no hot water the morning of our departure. It's a pretty disappointing experience.

I had a good night with my husband in Halifax. The location of this hotel is within walking distance of a lot of good restaurants, a sports bar, bar, stage theater, shopping and more services. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were very comfortable. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and very comfortable. The room was clean, the breakfast was great and the coffee was very nice. The only drawback; parking is a bit expensive.

Checked in for a night on January 10, 2015. The advertised rate is only if you book in advance, so we ended up paying $119.00+tax which worked out to about $141.00 for the night. This place looks to have been a chain hotel that has received some upgrades, but is still a little dated when you look around (old carpets, etc). All in all it, wasn't bad but make sure to book in advance. Otherwise it's a bit expensive for what you get.

Went only once for breakfast, and looooved it! Quick service and the food tastes great.

We booked 4 rooms for 2 night and the reception doesn't indicate that 1 night. Mentioning that we had made a mistake. It is disappointing, however, the rooms were clean and very comfortable. Everything for a pleasant stay.

It was tough to find the hotel the first time, but once there it was surprisingly good. This is not a 5 star hotel but Hotel President deserves definitely 4 stars. We did our own mocktail with the ice-maker machines, the double room was really comfortable and the quite spacious! We missed the brunch on sunday : — (. Woke up too late. Overall it was a really decent hotel and if we’re back in Sherbrooke we’ll stay there again.

Despite the time tall, I much appreciated my stay at sherbrooke. Overall, I'm rather pleased with my stop at the president hotel. The rooms were clean, quiet and with space (not too much when the rain in over more than! ), that's all I expect from a good hotel. I'll come back without doubt during the year-end holidays. In this regard, organized you meals for purposes of years in your banquet rooms.

Wow! This is an impressive hotel, with an indoor swimming pool. They are a little pricey, but it's totally worth it.

Besides the fact that I was ankle-deep in water at the end of my shower (poor drainage! ), the stairways had carpeting that way torn and dirty, and the tile throughout the first floor was chipped or missing, this was a horrible experience. I had left my credit card at the desk when I checked in, and the staff didn't think to give it back until I CHECKED OUT! Of course, I had cancelled the card since then. That kind of inconsideration, unprofessionalism, or just mean-spiritedness is not a hotel that I want to visit again. Stay away.
