I went with my parents, did not have a reservation but saw it from the highway and decided to check it out. Dad paid for a room (over $250 I believe, way too much for this dump) then when we saw the room we found it was old, dirty, and poorly maintained. We told the lady working it wasn’t clean and we didn’t want to sleep there. She still charged us half the price ($130 I believe) as a “cancellation fee”. What a ripoff. If we knew the room would be a dump we wouldn’t had asked for one. Avoid this place like the plague. We went 10 minutes away and got a room at the OTL Gouvernour for just a bit more $, but it was beautiful, newer and clean, a 10/10!
The room we got was the last available room in the hotel. I am sure the other rooms are larger, this is the last room they give out. It was very late when we booked and the owner had to stay up and wait for us a bit and she did that even though she was fully booked up and really didn't have to. I appreciate the thoughtfulness. She took care of everything we needed. The room was clean, quiet, safe, smelled good and comfortable. The shower was toasty warm. You would be okay staying here. The only reason I gave four stars on the room itself was because it was not fancy. This notwithstanding, it supplied what we needed and we slept well.
