Clean rooms, comfy beds. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good water pressure in the showers. Food available in hotel was delicious, would definitely reccomend their breakfast available to guests, even if the 9:30am cut off is a bit early for a late riser like me. And got to use my French — bonus!

I had lunch at the restaurant. My first time eating there for lunch. The service was good and fast. Waitresses were very professional.

Too expensive and decent service. I think the waitress was in mourning? Burial Face…

Enjoyed my stay. The room had everything I need; the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom well equipped, location was great, the staff was very professional & free breakfast was very good. My aunt held her 90th birthday in the dining room; the staff handled everything very well, the dinner had 3 meal option to choose from. I enjoyed my stay.

Good service. Beer fanatics try the different Tréfle Noire varieties they serve at the bar.

Nice place. I wasn't sure what to expect in Val D'Or, but was pleasantly surprised. I travel a lot and this was one of the cleanest (if not THE cleanest) hotel I've been to. The staff was welcoming and discrete. No complaints here! The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and, as I mentioned, so clean! Breakfast is… well a quick place to stop and pick something up. There is nothing warm — other than the coffee and toast. If you have time, I recommend going a few streets over the Bennedictine instead. Real food. Breakfast was also VERY busy on the Sunday morning we were there. We ate supper at the restaurant in the hotel and it was delicious. Nice big glasses of wine too. The decor and feeling of the restaurant was warm, cozy, and elegant. Staff was so kind. Beware! They charged us the tourist tax on top of our meal on our final bill which is a no no. We only found out later. Check your bills. The tourist tax should only apply to the price of the room. Otherwise, I recommend this place.

Excellent experience. The suite rooms are wonderful and all equipped. It's definitely worth the price.

L'hotel est bien situé, au coeur de la ville de Val D'or. La réservation des chambres est facile par l'entremise du site web. Le "check-in" est rapide. Nous avons pris une chambre de base à 120$ + taxes, qui était correct sans plus. La chambre était propre, et les lieux étaient très tranquille. Nous n'avons pas entendu un bruit de la soirée/nuit. Le déjeuner est inclus et est très ordinaire. Il est servi dans le bar de l'hôtel, avec les lumières tamisé comme dans un bar, ce qui fait drôle. Bref un séjour correct, sans plus, compte tenu du prix de la chambre.

Central location in town. Both the bar and restaurant are great and will keep you busy at the hotel. Rooms look very modern.

Rooms are great, park right outside your room as the lower level has exterior doors. Restaurant within the building was excellent cloth dining.

I was happy with my stay at the motel L'Escale. The rooms were large, modern, updated and clean. Was a good choice to spend the night.

Superb Suite. Own +++. Well furnished, sofa and chairs to the point comfortable. Whirlpool bath much appreciated after a day on the beautiful track snowmobile. Bar-restaurant nice atmosphere, good service, good food after hiking. Only snag is that the hotel is not very well accessible of the tracks. The Club snowmobile and the hotel should work together to trace a safe path of travel and accessible.

Went for a Christmas party. The place was clean. The food and service were good.

Service was excellent. The food, service and ambiance at bar was great. The room on first was very clean but a bit on noisy side compared to second floor.

It's been over 20 years that I have reservation at this place. Courteous staff, dining room service and menu excellent. Stay pleasant each time! 5/ 5! Bravo don't change the formula!

Bel hôtel. Chambre spacieuse et lit ultra confortable. Le service à la clientèle était bien. Nourriture bonne et rapide. Par contre, les hôtesse du matin peu dégourdie pour la prise de commande et les "refil". Somme toute, très beau séjour à l'hôtel pour un mariage réussi!

There is no pool or spa… I also wish that there is a gift shop space. Otherwise, I liked!

Food was all right for its price, service was quick and courteous!
