The rooms are basic and contain the essential. The only little issue is the lack of outlets. Also, as 4 adults were listed on the reservation, we only had towels for 2 people. Not a big deal but expected we wouldn't have to make the request. So far, a good stay.

The 7-day Tour East Bus trip that I'm traveling on stopped here; we have 50 tourists in our group. It's an overnight accommodation stop. The $450 travel & accommodations plan (based on double occupancy) includes 7 days bus travel and 6 night hotel stays of which this hotel is one of the venues. This hotel is nice, room is clean and the beds are comfortable but the mattresses are tired. Hot/warm water was MIA when I showered in the evening. Staff customer service was excellent. Amenities include free breakfast in the downstairs area, plus Wi-Fi!

The Hotel is in need of some upgrades. Windows, Doors, and Beds are the main ones. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Good hotel with a friendly staff who were very helpful to me. I honestly liked the vibe here alot. If youre doing short course marine training at Holland College, this is the hotel you should stay at as they offer a very reasonable rate for Holland College students. The only reason I am not rating higher is that the building is very dated and has a lingering cigarette smell. Also little things like our room was poorly lit as one of the lights didnt work, and some of the outlets in the room didnt work either. To sum it up: Old building, not everything works, great staff, they do a reasonable job at keeping the old place clean.

I have stayed at the hotel on a few occasions. The hotel is perfectly located near the heart of downtown summerside, walking distance to shops and the water front board walk. The staff go out of there way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. The 3rd and 4th floors have great veiws of the water. The rooms and beds are very comfortable. There is a restaurant on site that serves up great island food! Both the restaurant and hotel are reasonable priced, which is important on family vacations. I would recommend the hotel to anyone planning a trip to PEI.

The staff are all so friendly and give you true hospitality! The hotel is located within walking distance to beautiful downtown summerside and some rooms have excellent water views! My family of 4 (toddle, infant, husband and myself) stayed very comfortable here. The price is great and a restaurant on site with very good prices, and the quality of food (and portions) are fantastic!

Worst bathroom I've ever had in a hotel in Canada. Can't believe they cut off the hot water after 10 (at least that's what I assume). Overall hygiene in both the main room and bathroom is unsanitary. Only reason why I didn't rate one star was that it had amble amounts of power outlets. OH and I almost forgot to mention that breakfast was pretty much non-existent, aka you only get bread and cereal. And please, just don't even bother with setting up individual food plates if the only thing on there is a piece of bread. Hmm you know what I think I'll just rate it one star instead.

Stayed for long time bases for almost 6 months. Great Customer Service, all staff members are very helpful, specially Joe and repair department guys, there is always smile on their faces. Tammy is very great and helpful Manager. Definitely gonna give 5 star and gonna recommend to everyone. Thanks everyone for making my stay memorable, gonna miss u guys :)

Stayed overnight about 2 years ago. Great rooms. Great view depending on which side of the hotel you room is on. Beautiful decor in lobby and downstairs. Awesome little restaurant on site even a little bar/dance floor for night entertainment. Overall a great place.

I was at the Causeway Bay for a family member's wedding. The location wss great; close to the water front. The hotel itself was just barely passable. We got off of the tiny elevator on or floor and were welcomed by the overwhelming scent of unwashed dogs. The rooms were in desperate need of an update; the carpet was stained, some of the bathroom fixtures were rusted, one of the lamps in the room did not work, no hangers in the "closet" (if that's what you want to call the Ikea-esque unit in the corner of the room), and the vintage 19 inch tube television looked like a Goodwill hand me down. The food in the hotel's restaurant was equally as bad. The saving grace was the customer service, which was excellent, however, if not for the fact that the room was paid for by another family member, I would have left and checked in to another hotel.

Nice enough digs, but slow service.

This is an old hotel that adequately provides accommodations. That's about it! Rooms are old and paint is flaking off the bathroom walls. Wi-Fi is horribly slow. Not high on my list as a place to stay. Sorry Causeway!

I slept here and lost a kidney overnight!

I am attending school at Summerside PEI, and staying at this hotel for 2 weeks. My First night I got here, the front desk person was not able to understand anything iaskwd him, then 2 nights later, I get a spider bite n my room. I switched rooms… I asked the front desk people to make sure no one was going into my room to clean up and make beds… But one evening I asked for cleaning supply's so I can clean my room, I ASKED THEM TO LEAVE IT OUTSIDE MY ROOM, but the maids walked into my room and Stole $200 that I had in my room, and so I go to the front desk and report it. I get back from school the next night, and the manager walks to me and says when I walk into the front because my room card was not working. She said we are kicking you out of the hotel and find somewhere else to stay. That is rude customer service, and they think I was lieing to them. There are camaras on the floor and they say they don't work. The rooms smell like pot and smells like some of the rooms people smoke in. I don't like this experience at all. And now moving to a different hotel, I am not finished with them yet. Nothing but problems. Thanks for hearing my side of the story, yes it is cheap here but do you want your kids to be in a hotel where people smoke pot, and street people asking around for money.

Beautiful hotel very clean very well.

Staff was friendly, helpful, gave us a discount walking in off the street. Beds were comfy. Ate for 5 days at the restaurant, and food was great. Always busy restaurant, think the locals frequent this establishment a lot, which says a lot about the quality. One block from main street and the ocean, our room had an ocean view on the 3rd floor. It is an older hotel, a bit tired, but has been fairly well maintained. Would stay again if going to Summerside, which we will.
